I've had my investments in Fidelity for several years and was managing my portfolio myself. I had…read morerecently retired and decided I needed someone to manage my retirement account which was substantial. I also wanted someone to help us decide if my wife could retire. We had preferred status with Fidelity. I went into this Fidelity to talk to one of the investors (Jay?). He looked over the Fidelity Online Planner which I had entered information beforehand. The Planner offered the basic scenarios and is not a reliable program to make retirement decisions. This investor looked at the Planner and said, "Well, according to this your wife should be able to retire." Huh? The guy never ran any other planning software to see if our investments were on track. He told me he would turn all my documents over to their investment team and he would call me back. I never heard from him and he never tried contacting me. I can understand if we were talking about a few thousand dollars and it wasn't worth his effort, but that wasn't the case. I have since moved/rolled all our investments into another investment firm, who by the way, said my wife should wait until next year to retire. If you use this Fidelity, expect bad service and keep an eye on what they do with YOUR money.

I was a personal banker with Chase in one of their Sugar Land branches. When I had to leave Chase due to health reasons, I looked for ways to save on fees. Online or virtual banks seemed like the right fit for me. I had seen this Charles Schwab location and walk in one day. I was told that the office was mainly for investment accounts but they did handle some aspects of retail banking here. Upon further discussion, the banker explained that I could open a brokerage account with $0.00. There was no obligation on my part to trade. I could open two interest bearing retail accounts, one checking and one savings. Opening deposit required; you guessed it, $0.00! I proceeded to open the three accounts after learning that my debit card would not incur any ATM fees. Any ATM around the world. Schwab Bank will credit ATM fees in a monthly settlement. Believe me I have withdrawn GBP in London and Euros in Paris as well as Rupees in Mumbai and Rajula, India. Bill pay is free of course. The bank will mail you free check books, deposit slips, prepaid mailing envelops and preprinted return address labels in case you use your own envelop. Sorry, no free USPS stamps. The bank has a toll free number that is answered by a human banker available 24 hours a day. I transferred my money from Chase and started real free banking.

He'll even ask again if I checked-in before I even stepped foot out the door. I finally had to tell him that I am not comfortable with social media knowing my location. He never harassed me about it again. The first time I came here, I was interested in what David has to offer b/c after receiving a letter from the IRS, it feels intimidating and I wanted to be sure to take the RIGHT steps to handle this case correctly. Before coming to Infinity, I read the notice from the IRS thoroughly to be well-aware of my situation and what I can do to fix it. I was told David just started the business and that he could help me with my tax situation when I was well aware I could have taken the steps myself by following the SAME instructions that was listed on my IRS notice. But here I am, helping him market his business. Throughout the times I was scheduled to meet with him, at some meetings I had to give him some papers and some meetings he just spoke in circles. He never once discussed HOW MUCH each step was going to be or if I wanted to proceed with them. Instead, at our LAST meeting, closing up on my tax case, he tells me the fees and changed the price a few times infront of me which makes me feel very uneasy, and it was a grand total of $500. Oh! And then he'll seal up the paperwork and place it in a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope and have you pay for the shipping rate and drop it off at your nearest post office....... My dad had a similar case as me and all my brother had to do was call the IRS line and they'll guide you through the process, FOR FREE!
