I called and the dispatcher was super sweet I gave him our location, he told me 15 minutes a car would pick us up. Sure enough in less than 15 min our driver was there. He was friendly and welcoming. Five minutes before that time on the day of our flight, I called them and he told me casually that since we hadn't texted the driver a half an hour before, that he had told his driver not to come to our house!! I was dumbfounded; no apology and zero attempt to remedy this from the dispatcher. I tried to get an Uber driver but none were available that last minute. If my neighbor hadn't kindly offered to drive us, we would have missed our flight. Unbelievable.

However some of the drivers were oft the chain. One of them seem to have a drug problem one day I cane into the can and smelled an off putting smell. Wasn't BO or cigarette I just couldn't put my finger on it. On one of my trip with this cab driver he got upset because I spoke to him about using the phone and missing my turn. This man i return started driving fast and slamming on the break on lurpose making me nausiois. Another spanish driver was late picking me uo to my appointment and was using his phone. All Akab drivers are constantly on their phone talking. All I simple said to the driver is to please focus on driving because I don't have any time to be late. He had miss a turn and was taking me arround in circle. This man told ke to shut the f**k up. Chastising me telling me how i dont pay for my trips medicaid do. I answered him back and he got upset stop the cab in the midlle of the road cane around my door attempting to pull me out the taxi. All of these were done well and at a decent price (well my view on that one). They are more expensive than an airport taxi at ABE but they were there on time and greeted me as I walked to the luggage and then John headed back to the car (so the cops wouldn't ticket him). And the most important thing is that they were there for my daughter and got her home. They were there and handled things well. For that I am happy and they handled all the other date/times. So now if I am thinking of a big trip to NYC or Phillie I wouldn't hesitate calling them. And I know I have a company for Newark's or Phillie's airports.
