I was running errands around lunchtime and, feeling peckish, I thought about something to eat. Now I had many more errands, so road food was the order of the day. But how many burgers can you eat? There are even some pretty good independent burger joints, but sometimes, you just want a sandwich. Now, for context, our progeny ate a school lunch maybe a half dozen times, total, throughout their school years. Most of the time, I made lunch, and the centerpiece was the sandwich. Carefully selected meats, fresh veggies, a wide variety of sauces (they can't even eat a roast beef sandwich to this day without a bit of horseradish in there somewhere) were combined with excellent bread. That is what I wanted. That is what I got. The bread choices are white or brown, but that's because the emphasis is on the interiors.
