I've taken six vehicles to Certified for repairs over the last 10 years since moving to Oldham County. Since Steve sold the business a year or more ago, I was a little apprehensive to say the least because the service had been exceptional. Steve assured me I would get the same service from Nate, the new owner. There's been a huge turnover in the last year due to retirements, health issues etc. However, I still take my vehicles there because the service hasn't changed. Just as promised. The main replacement personnel are just as good or better. Honestly, integrity found there. They warrant their work! The two negative 1 Star reviews should be ignored. There must have been some miscommunication going on there in both those cases.

Luckily I was by their Crestwood KY shop. I took it to them in a panic due to us traveling. They greeted us and quickly took my car back to diagnose the issue. During waiting for the issue to be resolved they offered us water, coffee, and snacks several times. After they diagnose the issue and reset to code and made sure it wasn't getting the error code, they sent us on our way to enjoy a weekend in Nashville. I cannot thank them enough for the quick service, they were extremely caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend them at this location to anyone in the area with car issues!!!

I came with the proper headlight, had auto zone look in the system down to the trim package. I Told Jennifer I'd be happy to buy vavolines if that was easier. He said they didn't have my light bulb in stock. Jennifer and the Vavoline staff took out my high beam light. I could see Jennifer signaling ("hand cutting neck") the young man who was under my hood to "stop". Lied to my face saying the person who sold me the light gave me the incorrect one. I looked online to verify. Ask Jennifer which one they took out as autozone and Google says the one he told me I needed was for high beam (which still worked) . His response "all of us have fat hands and can't access the low beam. It's really far down there." I said so "I do have the correct bulb." He closed my hood and signaled me out of the bay. I'm disappointed, I drive out of my way to patronize this location because I've previously loved this LaGrange location. But this is the second time I've come to this location and not been able to receive seamless service. First time they drained my oil and didn't have any oil filters to fit my vehicle. I can without a doubt say I won't be back. If they couldn't change the light, fine. But why lie? They're dishonest. Sad to say, this location is going downhill.

The two guys above ground were busy on their cell phones trying to guess what oil filter was needed for a 2016 Jetta. Neither was sure. This did nothing to instill confidence. And now I'm told they can get the oil filter and the price will be about the same as Valvoline. But while I'm here, let's get it done. The technician below is stripping out something underneath the vehicle and laughing, saying something like "this is gonna take 30 minutes." Again, undermining any possible confidence left! Though the technician below was determined to finish his speaker phone personal call. The job was finished. I was still the only customer brave enough to use National Auto Lube in 45 minutes. No cars waiting outside, After paying the same price I would've paid at Valvoline, I was ready to leave and the clueless above ground technician was guiding me out, when I heard a scream from below. Apparently underground technician guy wasn't done! Was this really happening...maybe my alarm would wake me from this nightmare! No it's real as I can hear barely audible begrudging commentary from Mr underground technician still. Grumbling about something inadequate underneath the car. Once again the pneumatic sound of stripping threads, and displeased commentary below. After a grueling 40 minutes of uncertainty and grumbling, I was being freed from this insane operation. I thanked them for the entertainment, and went on my way, totally unconfident, and pretty sure my Jetta would hate me forever after subjecting it to the mayhem of National Auto Lube. And now I understand why the cars are lined up 3 deep at every Valvoline in town. Make it 4 deep. I'm joining them.
