Outstanding service from start to finish! The team was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They diagnosed the issue quickly and explained everything clearly before doing any work. The repair was done efficiently, and they made sure everything was running perfectly before leaving. Really appreciated how respectful and tidy they were in the home -- no mess left behind and great attention to detail. It's rare to find an HVAC company that combines technical skill with great customer care. read more

For years we were on Roberts' prepaid maintenance plan. Recently I asked the owner about a charge for a humidifier repair and he mocked my inquiry. The kicker is today an hvac man I trust thoroughly (a family friend and the building engineer of a downtown office building with special expertise in hvac systems) did the a/c checkup and eyeballed the entire hvac system and reported the humidifier solenoid was not connected so it couldn't work. Here's his photo showing the loose wires. I'm no expert but I trust him and it appears Roberts not only dissed me but also didn't do the job right. read more

Used Roberts on 3 major jobs so far. A complete boiler install at a school, 4 A//c units at a school, and 2 residential units at a house. These guys are complete professionals. Their work is superior to other HVAC companies I used. Keith is the man!!! Rest assured in these guy, they wont let you down. read more

My boiler needed repair when my dog accidentally turned on my water dispenser on the fridge and flooded the boiler downstairs- oops. I asked a group of friends who they recommended and 3 of the simultaneously said "Roberts" so I called them. Trevor came out quickly, sized up the damage, got a new part from the shop and installed it within an hour. The boiler fired back up and we were back in business, toasty and warm! I will eventually need to replace the entire unit and when I do, Roberts is my go-to. Thank you, Trevor and Roberts. I have since dog-proofed the water dispenser and my very smart dog is now keeping busy my doing my taxes. read more

HVAC geniuses! Older house and needed new boiler. The addition on the back of our house wasn't heating with new system, they realized an old pipe in the floor was broken and caught it preventing extended, future mold and water buildup under floors etc. fixed the pipe immediately and problem was resolved. Client for life! read more

I had Robert's install an ERV in 9/22. All went pretty smoothly but an issue came up recently in 12/23, just out of their warranty window. After a little back and forth they came out and fixed the issue quite promptly. Super impressed with their knowledge and friendliness. Would do business again if I have the opportunity. Extremely professional overall and seem to know their stuff. Thanks! read more

We have been using Roberts Heating since my children were babies. Now that my children are adults with their own homes they too are using Roberts. Glenn has successfully integrated his children into the business while keeping the very high standards he set. This is the ONLY company I would use. Everyone I have sent to Roberts has thanked me. A great family business where you know you are getting quality service no matter who arrives at your home. read more

Extraordinary service...honest, friendly. They take care of our needs every time...home and office. The gas company AND another H&C could not find the small gas leak at our business. Trevor discovered the problem and fixed it. A pleasure doing business with them. read more

My air conditioning went out and they sent Scott to work on it. He was able to fix it and it works great now. He saved me the cost of a new system. I am very satisfied with the work and will use Roberts again. read more

Glen and his team are amazing! We redid ALL our appliances and they had in done in less than 2 days. Great guys, very fun and did one heck of a job. Their work was quick and flawless! They were professional and actually helped me save some money! They really know their stuff! Thanks Glen, Trevor, and team read more

Based on a referral from friends, we consulted Roberts about replacing our full HVAC system. Our 15-year-old system has been inefficient from day one and increasingly so over the years. We also wanted to upgrade to dual zone thermostat control to see if we can get a better consistency of climate in our duplex apartment. Glen spent a lot of time with us explaining what the options were before we signed on. The installation team, led by John and Eli, did very thorough and professional work and handled problems that cropped up with ingenuity and care. Everyone on the team was extremely polite and friendly and gave clear explanations of the work being done. The new system is fantastic -- it's turning on far less often and our house feels comfortable throughout instead of there being a massive temperature difference between upstairs and down. It was an expensive upgrade, but we are 100% happy with what we're getting from our investment. read more

I can't tell you how happy I am with Roberts Heating & Air Conditioning! Our heat went out overnight, I called at 9am, and Scott was at my door at 1245pm (early!). Scott troubleshooted the issue, drove to get a part, came back, got thrown a curveball, adapted, and got our heat back up and running. He was so nice, honest, and thorough and gave great advice as it related to our warranty. First time using Roberts and it definitely won't be our last. Thank you Scott and Roberts! read more

My furnace was not working and I called to have someone come out. Dennis called me back and instead of charging me for the emergency call, he talked with me over the phone how to get it working again. I cannot thank him enough for his time and knowledge. I will definitely be using them for my future HVAC needs. read more

I had my furnace and condenser replaced. First of all, they have the lowest quote when I shopped around, I liked the extra care that Glen showed in explaining what needed to be done. The crew assigned to me (Vince, Dale, Keith, Glen) is the nicest and most helpful. They are all professional, respectful and very much knowledgeable. They did GREAT work and I'm so impressed. They never did short cuts and the quality of work is excellent. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend. Well done, team! I thank you so much. read more

Tell him TJ sent you, I have known Glen for years. Most honest friendly HVAC business I've ever worked with. It's been a while since I've used them, glad to finally see his new business location. Ask for Ziggy if you need a trouble shooter. read more

Roberts installed 2 A/C units recently and we were extremely happy with their service from the time we were given an estimate, to scheduling the install, and with their install as well. They were very professional and reliable and most importantly, when there was a bit of an issue with the install, Keith (one of the owners), came out and came up with a plan to deal with the situation and reassure me as well. Price wise, they were very reasonable laying out 4 different options which were also explained in detail. I will now use Roberts to do our annual service on both our Heating and AC. read more

After suffering through five years of incompetence with the outfit that installed our system, Roberts saved the day and finally fixed a persistent problem we'd been dealing with. Will be using them now. read more

From start to finish -- just a phenomenal experience. They accurately diagnosed what was proving to be a big riddle in my duct and heating system. (No other local company knew how to solve it). The price was reasonable; the techs were very nice, thorough, knowledgeable and explained everything they did and why. Just a really good experience. read more

We were referred by an existing client and called right after moving into our condo. We called at the height of furnace maintenance season but they support rep placed us on a wait list in case there were any cancellations and they actually called with an opening about a week later! We were impressed with the follow up and the tech they sent, Trevor, was great. He took time to inspect everything and educate us along the way, making recommendations and options. Highly recommend! read more

We started using Roberts for HVAC maintenance at the suggestion of a friend. Our units never seemed to work correctly and it became clear that dumping money into repairs was not going to solve the issues that were inherently defective to begin with. I was provided with several scenarios for replacement - Glen was also very helpful in providing info & directions on how to submit paperwork for rebates. The installation took about a week - extensive work in addition to the units (zoning, adding returns, etc) and we've been extremely happy with our Carrier units. We have our units serviced 2x a year & the employees could not be nicer or more professional. Scott typically comes out and he is great! Trevor especially went above & beyond to pick up a part for a repair. He could have just waited until the next morning but made the effort & our unit was up & running by the evening. I can't say enough about the service or attention to detail. read more

Terrible. Inconsistent work, pushy, trying to sell expensive parts.

Wonderful! This is the best company! They are efficient, friendly, professional and come when they say they will. I called them when my water heater "broke" today. They called me back quickly, came the same day (I was having company and had no hot water so called for an emergency visit). Mike, one of their staff, came and fixed the problem. He couldn't have been nicer or more friendly. He explained exactly what he was doing and why and was patient in explaining the details to me. He even fixed the loose connection and I had hot water within the hour. I was able to shower before the guests arrived and wash the dishes! I used Roberts for the first time in March when they installed a new water heater and furnance and they gave me the same great service. Thank you for your wonderful service and I highly reccommend using Roberts Heating & Air Conditioning. Karen Lincoln Park, Chicago read more

We replaced air conditioning system. Got three estimates and two companies including this company gave similar estimate. We decided to go with this one, since more detailed explanation was provided in the "proposal" sent by email. Two guys came to my house on time and overall experience was good. Unexpected cost was popped up but got some discount on that. I will use this company for regular maintenance and future repair. Btw, they accepted credit card. read more

Scott was great when he came to see us on a hot Sunday in August after our AC stopped working the night before. He was quick, professional and personable. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Plan on using them for all of our future heating and cooling needs. read more

Simply put: they are the best in the Biz. read more

I've been using Robert's for YEARS simply because they are the best. I became acquainted with them through residential service, but then, as president of our condominium board, I brought them on board to maintain our very complicated commercial equipment. At one point, when we were having heating issues, Dennis, our Robert's technician, went head to head with a mechanical engineer about why his proposal was dead wrong. Dennis had researched the problem, done the math, and presented his findings to the condo board and the mechanical engineer. The board chose to listen to Dennis, and he and his Robert's team solved years of HVAC problems from a poorly designed and installed system. The guys at Robert's are smart, trustworthy, and just nice guys! read more

My whole heating system from the furnace room ceiling to the ducts and furnace was a mess since it's installation by the Fly By Night Hot Air Company. Several hvac experts over the decade had informed and warned me of the serious problems. Thus my educated search began. I called several places looking for someone to do a total fix. Finally, Robert's Heating answered the call. Keith said "Yes, we do the hard stuff". Perfect! ...and they did do the "hard stuff"! The efficient, hard working team was excellent from Keith's detailed initial proposal to the final installation of a ceiling in the furnace room. I now have insulated and suspended attic ducts, a furnace that doesn't sound like a speeding train carrying tin cans, an air intake grill, an access door to the attic, a ceiling on the furnace room and central ac. Whew! These guys earned their stars. John, Wes and Michael were on time everyday and never took a lunch hour. Keith answered numerous phone questions throughout. They did a great job and I'm a happy customer. read more

I've been using Roberts since I moved into my home 10 years ago. Just had Pete and Nick here to install a new A/C and create/repair ductwork to the second floor. I highly recommend Roberts. Their prices are reasonable and their service people are honest and friendly. I have used them twice when my furnace has gone out. I called and left a message when they were closed and I got a call back first thing in the morning. They arrived at my house 30 minutes after that. read more

We are a very satisfied repeat customer. Have used ROBERTS HEATING for years ever since they installed a SpacePac air conditioning unit in our cramped attic. We recently needed a service call to fix our poor to non-existent heat in our hot water radiators. They were willing to come out that very day. When the Technician arrived he summarized the problem and showed me the components in the motor that had failed. He proceeded to REBUILD it rather than stick us with replacing it which would have been a very $$$$ job. This is why we trust them implicitly. I did not even ask for an estimate. The job was done efficiently, cleanly and in a timely manner. We HIGHLY recommend them. read more
