In fact, after their first visit, I mounted their business card over the garage door's buttons so that I wouldn't call anybody else by mistake. I had no idea why that was the case, so I tried to fix it myself, and it didn't go so well. I decided that I would go on yelp and find a garage repair service that had good reviews and a reasonable price. I came across this garage repair service, and decided that I would give them a chance. I'm so happy I did because the technician "Jackson" that was sent to my house to perform the repair was so friendly and very professional. He was also a very hard worker and you could tell that he took pride in his work. He realized that the reason my garage was not closing all the way was because it was jammed. He was able to unjam it in 30 minutes and now my garage can close again. It was such a simple fix, and I was unable to figure it out, but thank goodness Jackson was. Thanks so much! Now my garage and close again with no problem.

He explained all available options, and helped recommend what would make the most sense for us. John took the time to explain everything to my wife and I to ensure we received the best value available for materials / labor. He claimed that the job would require just one day; including, demo work to remove two existing doors, installation of new hardware, two new motors, and the clean up of all demo/debris. I was skeptical because the offer seemed too good to be true. John arrived on-time, on the day scheduled with all materials needed. He completed the work efficiently and left no remanence of debris. I was genuinely pleased with the result, but even more struck by the quality and expediency of all that was done. John configured the remote controls for opening the doors and the wall mounted consoles all before uttering "the job is done"...leaving us with a finished product upon completion. **NOTE: About 30 days later, one of the garage doors was making a noise that didn't sound right. After calling to see if something could be done, John stopped by our house the next morning to take a closer look. With the spray of some silicon from his work van, John fixed the problem inside of 15 min. I could not recommend using Threshold Door Services in any stronger terms. Fair value, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing are enough to endorse the company, but the quality touch John delivers is really what drove me to write this review. This review applies only to the Ramsey location; I cannot speak to the rest of the stores…read more I'd use anyone else. I've made doors. I install doors weekly. I went in with my wife last Saturday to look at wood door styles, and some salesman named Steve talked down to us the whole time. This is my wife's opinion as well, and she couldn't tell a Masonite door from a solid wood panel door. The showroom was a mess. A customer can't look at a door in there unless you have a salesman (or two; one would have to move doors while the other got one out) pulled doors to look at. One entrance to the "door gallery" (which looks like the main entrance, given the stand sign they put outside reading "Doors, Doors, Doors") was completely blocked by a door on a stand someone had shown to a previous client. A customer would have to go to what appears to be the back door to get in. Steve tried to exhibit a knowledge of architectural styles, but ran out after four. He tried and tried to convince us that we wanted a fiberglass door, despite the fact that we wanted solid wood and told him so from the onset. He tried to sell us a door we didn't want on the spot. Then, on our way out, he cornered my wife (we were out of the building, I was in the car already) and got our name and the name of our contractor. He went behind our back and emailed our contractor (he must have done an internet search to find them, because we DID NOT supply him the contact information) and told them we wanted a specific door that we did not want. He was clearly more concerned about the commission or the sale than he was about the actual product. We didn't realize this until Monday, when our contractor emailed us asking about a door in which we were completely not interested. Complete with a picture. This jackass tried to put a door on our dream home we didn't want or ask for. I don't care what their price point might be (we didn't even ask, so have no point of reference, but we wanted a door outside of the normal scope of stock door construction, so we'll end up paying a pretty penny), I would pay more to use even Home Depot to buy a door rather than North Jersey Door. We told our contractor such. And our interior designer. This business, which may be completely reputable, just lost a lot of business from one jackass salesman.
