We dealt with Ron Maxwell and I think he could not have done anything any better than he did during such a difficult time for all of us. I think some people have a gift for the career they are in, just a natural ability to do that job. I felt for him when I saw my siblings and I making decisions on what we all wanted. I thought about how hard that might be to navigate with family members who might not agree on things. Ron just handled everything like the professional he is. Everything was set up well for the memorial. I didn't realize that I would be viewing an open casket so I definitely cried alot upon seeing my friend's body but I'm happy that he knew God. When we ask about which location the service would be, we were told it was a private service and he couldn't divulge that information. What a moron- I knew it was a private service and I wasn't going to crash it as I live 18 hours away. However, the florists need to know where the flowers are to go and without him telling me which, it has turned into a debacle. The flowers did NOT arrive at the funeral. The 1-800 flower agency said the funeral home wouldn't receive the flowers. The funeral home said the florist didn't have the flowers we'd ordered. And after all the bologna, no one (not e 1-800 service, not the funeral jome, not the local florist) has called to let us know that the ball has been dropped. Why in the world the fella at the funeral home wouldn't even let us know what location the funeral would take place is beyond me. He needs to be educated or terminated so this kind of crap doesn't happen again. If someone at this funeral home would like to contact me, my phone number is 256 5774037.
