I just want to add something about the PROFFESSIONAL THIEF AND SCAMMER KEVIN EARL MCGHEE OF MCGHEE CONSTRUCTION ! HE HAS FINALLY BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH A FELONY THEFT BY CONVERSION. HE STOLE 80,000 from Ben Hood and had intentions on getting another draw of 40,000.00 but thanks to the natural instincts of one person involved and the honesty of one of the people Kevin had working all of his jobs he had going for scams, they confronted him and he did what he's good at like all cowards do he ran and hid. But he has another scam that is about to be under investigation by the great investigators at Troup co Ga for theft by deception and theft by conversion. He works for Ty Stripling and is charging material to ty s Home Depot account and spreading it out on his scams!!! I have known him for 30 years back when he was a crack dealer in Hogansville ga. Used o sell crack to a friend of mine s husband! They called him Earl then. Well he hasn't changed bc he bought over 4 lbs of meth back in December his workers said and has been paying them for their work in meth ! Wow ! And I cannot believe the Troup co drug task force is turning their head to the amount of drugs Kevin Mcghee is putting on our streets and using his partner Pete That has a realty company on Vernon rd next to marathon and works at center state bank by Home Depot. Yes Kevin said they are partners! Beware of all of these scammers! Kevin took the 80,000 took his family to Disney world , took 2 strippers to Las Vegas then took his "wife kimmcghee " to Las Vegas after he did the strippers. He rents motel rooms for him and the strippers during the day then goes home to his unfaithful wife . He has involved his daughter Hailey Nobglin who lives on Hamilton rd in Rosemont and drives the black ragged out hummer of her scammer dad Kevin. She is his bank he said she hold money from his clients and spends it with him. Shame on him he's going to take his daughter to prison with him! The city of Hogansville issued Kevin a business license to work in LaGrange. Wow city of Hogansville you stepped into a pot that Kevin left boiling! That makes city of Hogansville liable for Kevin Mcghee construction! As of January 1st 2020 it is a felony for these fake scamming thieves that call theirselves contractors to steal your money!!! If anyone knows of anybody Kevin Mcghee has scammed or offered to pay them with drugs please contact the criminal investigation division at Troup co sheriffs dept. Kevin brags about having a friend on the inside someone on the task force. I would like to post a review of Roberts Components from LaGrange Ga. The owners of this company of whom I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting are VERY nice people. They are helpful people and showed up to my door step one day to inform us that a previous contractor we had hired to build a 48x40 garage with a full living quarters above had ordered the floor and roof trusses from them back in December (6 months ago).... but never paid for them. I want to leave Roberts Components a good rating because they are working with us to try and resolve this problem. But I would like to inform people who are looking for a contractor to build homes or remodel homes or needs roof work.... PLEASE DO NOT HIRE KEVIN EARL MCGHEE / McGhee Construction. He is a rip-off contractor originally from Hogansville Ga he now resides in the LaGrange Ga area. We paid Kevin McGhee approximately 105k in written checks for our garage build that was contracted for a total price of 125k. When our retaining wall cracked one month after it was built we got concerned and called to verify his Alabama Home Builders License only to be told by the state he is NOT licensed to build homes in the state of Alabama and he can not continue the work. I also called and verified at that time he did not hold a Home Builders License for the state of Georgia either.... We had to stop all work with this man and when we asked for a refund of our unused portion of our money approximately 80-85k we were told by Kevin McGhee he had spent all our money on our project and had no money to refund us. However the floor and roof trusses from Roberts Components were NEVER PAID FOR .... totaling approximately $13,000.00. Those were unpaid .... he had the money at the time they were ordered (December 31, 2017) to pay for them but he didn't..... I'm not sure where the money went..... He said to me that my money was out in my yard in the dirt and in the wall. I will attach pictures of the work preformed by Kevin Earl McGhee of LaGrange Ga / McGhee Construction so that you can see what we got for $105,000.00. We had several inspections done and the work he had done for our job totaled approximately 25-30k range.... not $105,000.00. This man has also ripped other people off in the past and even was sued. He has a criminal history and several bankruptcies, he has no assets that we can find and he is very hard to find as he only uses PO boxes for addresses....
