I also mentioned that I was having pain when I was there and that wasn't addressed. So I've also left several messages to get something for pain and have never got a call back. I don't know if Dr Adam's is even getting my messages. She sure seems too nice to ignore someone. I just don't get it! So whatever is going on is unprofessional, not right and even unethical. I went in for a scheduled cleaning and after she asked if I was having any pain she wanted to chart my teeth, me still expecting my cleaning I said ok. She first pushed my gums back on every tooth with her pic and then went back through all my teeth a 2nd time saying this time I'm just gonna measure so it won't hurt. This appt took an hour. Then I was told I need a procedure to clean under my gums. So I asked what about my cleaning still expecting that to happen. I was told the receptionist will explain. Wow! I had no idea what just happened or what was going on. The hygienist was talking about being a single Mom. It was like she was saying she needed to make more money. I said it seems like dentists and drs come up with ways to charge you to make more money and she said yes she was having it out with her OB/Gyn about that. Hmmm something weird going on here! So now I sit still in pain and I guess I'm gonna have to find another dentist! I have called 5 times and no response from Dr Adam's! If anyone knows how to reach her other than the front desk, please have her call me! I have done nothing wrong or said anything against anyone, so I'm lost for why this is going on! I can't believe that I am the first one to use my type insurance in their office and that they did not know what the insurance policy was. I personally think they decided to charge me extra and blamed it on the insurance company after I had the permanent cap put on! Maybe the insurance did Pay less for a different type of crown but Murphy dentistry office staff should have known this when they gave me a quote. Because of this extra money that they surprised charged me with, I can no longer recommend Murphy Dentistry for new patients.
