I asked if an online promotion could be honored in-store, and while I completely understand if store policy says no, the interaction felt dismissive, especially after watching another customer receive a discount from a different associate just a few feet away. Hopefully this was just an off day and Dori gets a quick refresher on customer service, because DSW is usually one of my favorite places to shop. The shoes were a 10/10... the checkout experience, not so much.

I spent over an hour in there last week and didnt see a single employee on the floor. They have a very large selection, and lots of sizes on the floor, but seem to be very limited in wide sizing. I would have asked about it had I seen someone. They don't have the little protective footies anywhere that I saw either. One thing thats nice is they do have a nice selection of fancy handbags and purses. So if you're looking for one of those, this is a decent place to try and find one.

I immediately noticed row upon row of Women's, Children's, & Men's shoes/sneakers/sandals, ALL clearly labeled & marked w/ prices. (The clearance racks are against the back wall.) The many different sales on footwear were impressive! I checked out using the Buy One Get One shoe sale-- got a pair of cute sandals for just $9.99. (They had previously been reduced.) Many Skechers now have Memory Foam, which make the brand extremely COMFORTABLE. I was never impressed w/ Skechers until the company began adding it. (Bob's by Sketchers offers many cute flats & other feminine styles w/ Memory Foam.) Service was fine. The stock boy (maybe age 18) was helpful & friendly. A female staffer working the floor was also attentive, & the checkout clerk behind the plexiglass was friendly enough-- I was happy that he handled my returns & my new purchases very quickly.
