This review is long overdue. I have no other excuse other than laziness…read more Dry. Myers was my second chiropractor to visit when I was back in Johnson City. The background as to why I was searching for chiropractic care is a bit long, but necessary to understand everything. When I was a kid, I was told by a Dr. that I had one leg longer than the other. That was it. Never questioned it. Fast forward to last year, and someone close to me, who is a chiropractor asked if I'd ever had xrays done to confirm what I was told. No was my answer. I left that area shortly thereafter, and when I arrived in Johnson City for a few weeks, I went to a chiropractors' office. She never even touched me and told me I needed orthotics. That visit didn't go well, and I was hesitant to try again. My next stop was Dr. Myers, and that was all I needed. He listened, took notes, was down on the floor measuring and asessing my ankles, legs, joints...most importantly, he listened to me. He took xrays and actually confirmed what my friend had suggested, as well as finding some other issues that hadn't manifested into a problem yet. Dr. Myers was very thorough when reviewing treatment with me, and went over things in great detail. Not only that, but he's a great guy to talk to, and very friendly. The lady that runs his front desk is very nice as well. She always makes the visits pleasant. Dr. Myers treated me for a few weeks until I moved, and even after being out of town for a few months, when I come back, he talks to me like I haven't even left. While in town, he'll call and check on me to see how I'm doing as well. You just can't get care like this everywhere. Dr. Myers began what was to become a long road to correction, and I feel great. Whenever I'm back in Johnson City, he's who I visit. I recommend him to everyone I know.

This was the worst chiropractic experience ever. I visited the Myers Chiropractic clinic a couple…read moreof years ago while searching for a new chiropractor. Once it was established I would not be purchasing their overpriced "treatment package," and instead would gladly pay per visit (like all other doctors), the service received was sub-par (at best). After 3 visits, I was in so much pain, which I had not been when I initially began, I had to stop going and seek other treatment elsewhere to correct the damage Dr Myers had caused. I highly recommend you do not go there, and instead find a chiropractor who cares more for their patient, than the money they can swindle from them.

Excellent office, everyone that works there is kind, helpful, and personable…read more I have been going to this office for over a year now and have never had a complaint. When I first came in I was suffering from severe pain and would have spells where I couldn't even walk, I would just collapse in pain. I was pregnant and could not get X-rays however Dr. Merrill is very knowledgeable and good at his job and was able to help me manage my pain till I was able to get X-rays later on down the road. I remember being so surprised because I didn't even have to tell Dr. Merrill where my pain was, after some poking and prodding in a quick assessment of my back he was able to tell me what I was feeling and why, which is very impressive to me considering most doctors you have to SPELL IT OUT and play charades for them to even be relatively close to helping you figure out your problem.By the time you have finally gotten them to understand you mine as well just have done some research on the internet, fixed your own problem and saved yourself a trillion dollars. I have been many places in my life where it's like going to the mechanic, you go in with one problem and leave with three! At Dr. Merrill's office this is not the case, he is very well informed and truly helps you recover long term. His wife, Kathy, does an amazing job with message therapy as well, between the two of them I could not be more thankful for finding this place! I'm so glad I did not take heed to the bad reviews, I've seen and read them and almost didn't go to Dr.Merrill's office at first, I only gave it a try because people I know and trust said he was great. I personally conclude those reviews were written in immaturity, it would seem as though they might have been expecting care to be free? Also they seemed very emotional and not performance based. DO NOT be swayed by the bad reviews!! You will not regret going to Dr. Merrill, if anyone can help you on your journey to recovery, he can!

This type issue is referred to as " the widow maker". I was scheduled for surgery and had a stint installed. That you Doc for paying such close attention to my X-rays and finding this problem. My son is now 17 and has been so healthy his whole life. I attribute that, in part, to the care he receives from Dr. Kind and Dr. Ballard. I have horrendous migraines, and sometimes I am not easily adjusted as my neck and/or hips refuse to move. But through patience and skill, these two doctors get me to where I need to be so that I can find relief. I have NEVER been forcefully adjusted, and I know others haven't either. I would highly recommend Dr. Kind and Dr. Ballard.
