I didn't have much hope of getting the help I needed.Other dentists had given me little hope of my ever getting a denture or other procedure that would return me to at least a somewhat normal set of teeth in my mouth. Let me say...I have lived in 5 states in my 73 years. I have never been treated as kindly and professionally as I was today. After, embarassingly, having only 2 front teeth remaining in my upper mouth, I not only walked out with some temporary teeth; but, more importantly; hope. The hygienist, Debbie, could not have been more knowledgeable, caring, and reassuring to me. Have a lotta work to do; but I have confidence in Dr. Miller; only regret is I didn't go here at first. I just had my wisdom teeth extracted today at Asheville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Since a…read morechild I have always been extremely afraid of doctor visits, especially needles. Today's surgery was a huge accomplishment for me and will set a better tone for future medical procedures. My initial consultation with Dr. Hussain went very well. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and I left feeling confident enough to schedule my surgery. On surgery day I was extremely nervous, extremely. Off the bat the receptionists calmed my nerves with their sweet smiles and affirmations. The technician/surgeons assistant, Emily guided me to the surgery room and got me all set up.She described every step which helps so much so that I knew what to expect. She was very kind and thoughtful. She is great at her job and I wish her the best in her medical career. A few other people passed through who very also very kind and helped to lighten the mood. Dr. Hussain came in to start surgery and talked me through things to help calm me. Before you know it I was knocked out and didn't even know it. Emily rolled me out to our car and now I am home recovering. I feel great and am going to take all the recommended steps to recover well. I hope this helps anyone with anxiety around this sort of thing. The staff and doctors are wonderful. Thank you. I forgot to mention the environment is very homey, comfortable, welcoming and smells clean and wonderful which always helps!

It is actually a pleasure to come to this practice! Outstandingly beautiful office. My entire mouth was "re-made" by Dr. Phillips. I truly thought he had moved here in order to take care of my mouth! As I await for the person to come take my temperature I wonder if they will have a solution. I am here for a second opinion. I had a implant that had to be removed due to severe bone loss. That left me unsightly because the retainer my dentist gave me was not acceptable to the periodontist. Had another one done ..still no good so the periodontist made a temporary. Well long story short and a few months later I sit here hoping a bridge is a viable alternative. We shall see.... Dr Miller was a very professional clinician. He assessed my mouth thoroughly and gave me options he thought I should consider. There was no pressure to make a decision. I appreciated his demeanor, professionalism, and candor. An hour later I left with news I didn't want to hear including the cost of what it would take to get back to normal. I have some decisions to make but I know whatever I do I will likely see Dr Miller. I recommend this business and Dr. Miller.

Dr. Miller and his lab created a poor fitting denture for me. I worked with him over several months…read moreto try to get the denture adjusted to fit my bite so that it would not hurt. He blamed me for the denture not fitting. Since he was unable to adjust the denture anymore without running the risk of breaking it, he suggested shaving down my healthy teeth on the opposing side to make it fit. After consulting other dentists they concluded that the denture was faulty, should be redone and I should not shave healthy teeth. Dr. Miller decided to fire me as his patient rather than accepting responsibility and asking the lab to fix it or have it redone. I spent over $4000 on the denture and did not receive a viable product. I do not recommend Dr. Miller.
