First I was told the full mouth X rays are covered by my insurance (they were not). Then the estimate for the root canal and how the amount the insurance would cover was wrong. Then the extraction costs were higher due to difficulty, which it did not seem to be. Finally I paid the bill at the end and put it behind me. Now one year later I receive a text that I owe another $540 and will be sent to collection if not paid. When I asked the reason for the additional cost the answer was not satisfactory. The best part about it all, is the tooth feels loose and I don't feel comfortable using that side. If you know a good dentist please tell me.

Dr. Goodale's office was it from the moment I first spoke to the receptionist Jessica. She was friendly, patient and easy to understand, which is really saying something these days. When I got the the office and sat down with D for my x-rays, she was very comforting and communicative, laying out everything I needed to do and checking in with me throughout to make sure I was good. Then Dr. Goodale came in with great energy and an obvious desire to 1. explain everything extremely clearly and patiently and 2. make sure I was at ease and comfortable. She did my cleaning personally and took my request seriously for caution around certain sensitive areas. She even asked if I was cool with the music they had playing. And then to top if off she gave me the best cleaning I've ever had - my teeth are prone to staining so they were looking pretty rough after a year gap between my last dentist visit. I had even been told by previous hygienists they couldn't do much about the stains. Dr. Goodale got them so white my wife was actually shocked because she had forgotten I had normal teeth. Really can't recommend this place enough I just with that all healthcare providers treated their customers with such grace and empathy, not to mentioned good old fashioned skill at their profession. I'm a mother of 2 kids and Dr. Bijoor's practice gave us the worst pediatric care I've ever…read moreencountered from any medical professionals. My then 2 year old was forcibly held down and hysterical during a cleaning and the hygienist said to me...ma'am, these instruments are sharp and if your son doesn't stop moving he's going to get hurt. Who in their right mind thinks that they can command a 2 yr old to sit still while a stranger sticks a sharp scaler into his mouth for prolonged periods?? I didn't know any better at the time and thought it was normal for dental cleanings to last only 5 min, coughed up approximately $265 each time (without insurance and was lied to about a free visit) and left the office each time while my son still had a mouthful of dirty, grimy teeth. My current pediatric dentist recommended an electric toothbrush that took care of all that grime without the need of sharp instruments and invasive scraping. Furthermore, we now have hygienists who patiently explain the procedures to each kid and sing to them as they "tickled" each tooth with a polisher.
