I usually don't leave reviews like this, but my recent experience with Dr. Ha's office was deeply disappointing--especially due to the behavior of a staff member named Stella. From the moment she answered the phone, Stella sounded irritated and impatient. Her tone was far from professional, and throughout our conversation, she made me feel like I was bothering her just by asking basic questions. When there was a language barrier, instead of trying to clarify or assist, she became visibly frustrated--as if it was my fault that she couldn't understand. Her attitude felt dismissive and rude, almost like she didn't want to be there at all. I'm not sure how someone with such poor communication skills and such an unwelcoming demeanor ends up working in a front desk role. A medical office should be a place where patients feel heard, respected, and supported--unfortunately, my experience with Stella was the exact opposite. I sincerely hope the office takes feedback like this seriously, because the first point of contact can make or break a patient's trust in the practice. read more

Dr. Ha is one of the best doctors I've seen throughout my life. His bedside manner is one that you just don't see anymore. He takes his time with you and is Thorough with everything he does. He has the ability to foresee things that haven't even happened yet based on conversations you have with him. I recommend him highly. I don't think you'll find a better doctor than him. read more

New location is on Garden Grove Blvd. Dr. Ha is a decent doctor and seems a competent practitioner. His front office staff, though, fall way short, they could ALL use some customer service and HIPAA training. They were very rude and not helpful. They lecture patients in a chiding way and talk down to them (doesn't matter if you actually are more educated or older). The patient sign in sheet is not HIPAA compliant so everyone can see names, dates of birth and even symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat or recent travel. Those should not all be written down for all other visitors and other patients to see. Joanne the NP was good at explaining things but not as good listener. She should listen for questions so that she can more accurately address the concerns and questions of patients. My job is related to helping seniors in the community. I called the office to ask a simple question about getting a doctor's note to help the senior get help in the home. The receptionist who answered the call was rude and condescending. How she can manage to do that in a mere 1.5minute conversation, is beyond me. Korean-speaking seniors go to the few Korean-speaking medical offices in OC and they don't have many choices to go elsewhere. Don't treat people that way. Do better. read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ha for over 15 years. He truly is the best! He is sweet, caring and never makes you feel rushed. He politely answers all my questions (no matter how ridiculous they may be) in great detail. He is super knowledgeable and keeps up to date on current medical issues. My family and I are looking for a new doctor to go to. I heard great things about Dr. Robert Ha through a friend of mine. She been going to him for years and said that he is a good doctor. Why 2 Stars? The front desk girl just ruined it for me. I called to make an appt. for a physical exam. She asked me when was my last physical? I said last year but not sure of the month. She told me to call the insurance company and make sure that my physical will be cover???? Huh, isn't that her job to call the insurance company to make sure that my PPO insurance is active and if my insurance will cover the exam? She told me that it wasn't her job to find out. I find that weird because every time when I go to other doctors to get a physical they would check if my insurance will cover it before they do it. Anyway, I called the insurance company and they told me that everything will be covered and that it will be ok to get a physical exam this year. I even asked the insurance company if the doctor office could call and ask for my physical exam history? I was told that the doctor office could call and find out all history. When I called the front desk back I told her, "Lets say I came in and told you that my insurance will cover for everything and I was wrong, Will I get bill for it? " She said, YES.... Now, I'm too scare to come in because they are too lazy to call my insurance to check for history and cover procedures. I didn't like the way that sound so I decided to cancel my appt. and go look for another doctor... read more

I've been seeing Dr Ha for about 20 years now. I've found him to be very thorough, knowledgeable understanding and caring. He listens and he spends the time to explain things. Can't ask for more. His office support, techs and clerical are the same, efficient, conscientious and caring. I highly recommend this office. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Ha since early 2012 when I came back to California. Normally I see him at his Garden Grove office at approximately 3-6 month intervals. Although I believe I am a pretty healthy person, I need special attention in a couple areas because of my medical history. I get this attention fully from Dr. Ha. In every visit, he shows keen interest in my conditions in these areas and never fails to give appropriate recommendations. His caring attitude quickly helped build trust between us. Now I don't ask as many questions as before because of the established trust. I have been fortunate to have good doctors. However, since I decided on Dr. Ha, he changed my prescription and my condition has improved considerably. I also respect Dr. Ha's personal integrity. I know he is deeply involved in volunteer activities for the cumminity and his church. I highly recommend Dr. Ha. read more

This review is for the front desk staffs. Super unorganized, messes up billing, records, etc. dr Ha is a good doctor but he has a horrible team. Today I called to schedule an appointment, the lady who picked up the phone sounded like she was irritated and tired and told me there's nothing available and I asked if they take walk-ins and she said :" uh yeah but we will have a lot of walk-ins too!"
