History

Established in 1989.

Robert Sharp began his career as a disc jockey at KBHB radio in Sturgis, SD. It soon became obvious that sales provided a much better income than on air banter, so Robert took to the streets and, before long, realized his talent reached far beyond radio. With two car dealerships and a western store as his client base, Robert Sharp & Associates was born in an empty garage in 1989. With a creative mind and a never give up attitude, Robert Sharp & Associates quickly become the largest and most productive agency in Western South Dakota and holds that post to this day.

Robert is the man with his name on the door and he takes that very seriously. As the agency principal and CEO he has his hands (and heart) in everything that we do, but he will be the first to admit "creative director" is the title he likes best. With a mind for creative thinking and guerilla marketing tactics, Robert is known for going well beyond the zones of traditional and digital media to get your message across. He is known for empowering his staff to be even better than they thought possible and the results are award winning campaigns for our clients.
