Jonathan Nelson was the only contractor that would even consider cleaning the house on a two month frequency schedule, a schedule we deemed very important, if for no other reason than having the toilets flushed and water run for a brief period. Jon has been very adaptable when we need certain dates for our cleaning outside of the two month schedule. He is very professional and is always attentive to our needs. I sat down and told them everything that needed to be cleaned and by the end of the day they sent me a service proposal with a TOTAL of $266. After the cleaning was completed I had to have them come back and clean areas that they did not clean, that i told them needed to be cleaned. When they charged me, they charged me $441!!! I called the company and the manager/owner tried to tell me that there were additional charges to my total. On the service proposal itself, it had ONE TOTAL of $266 and no where else did it state that other charges would be added to the total. If you use this company be cautious of what your TOTAL is and what you will actually get charged. I feel like their service proposals are a scam because their services seem to be a decent price but they do not break down the proposal in detail to you and let you know other charges will be added to your TOTAL. I also never got a receipt or summary of charges when I was charged.

He clearly states what he intends to do, then does exactly that: shows up when he says he will (texting us in advance that he is on the way), evaluates the issues, shares his recommendation and quote, then does the agreed-upon work with surgical precision. His high level of skill and quality results speak for themselves. He provided efficient work at an exceptional value for the cost. Ben installed our two new toilets and repaired related plumbing, replaced a leaking kitchen disposal, repaired under-sink kitchen plumbing to accommodate a new reverse osmosis hot and cold water on-demand system, and diagnosed a few other fixes along the way. We added a simple in-line descaling unit to help reduce the hard water sediment, and noticed results almost immediately. He knew our faulty kitchen faucet head was covered under warranty and called to get a replacement on its way to us. He installed a new water main easy access shut-off valve so we don't have to reach waaay down behind the water heater for an old school dial knob. So helpful! Ben is super clean, organized, professional and personable. He wears booties when entering the home, lays his tools neatly out on his work mat, has a tub to collect anything he removes, and leaves the place far better than he finds it. He also reached out several times to follow up after the appointments, to see that the new installations were working as expected and that we were happy. Ben at SoDak is the only person we will call for plumbing help. Truly felt like my big brother was taking care of me and our home care needs.

The following Tuesday, I get a call from a technician saying he's on his way to my house -- completely out of the blue. Loyal scheduled the appointment without ever contacting me or getting my approval. Then, two days later, I receive a $100 bill for "dispatch and arrival of technician"... for an appointment I never scheduled, a faucet that had already been fixed by someone else, and a tech I only spoke to on the phone. How does that make any sense? To make matters worse, no one will answer the phone so I can ask why I was charged or tell them I won't be paying for a service I never agreed to. The lack of communication and the unauthorized scheduling is absolutely ridiculous.
