Dr, Price was supposed to help my husband, now deceased, who had Parkinson's. My husband kept complaining that his medication was wearing off. Price dismissed that. He made me cry when my vulnerable husband was lying there and Price actually, said, "I don't want you as a patient and no one else will either! " We were finally able to switch to another neurologist, who was also a motion specialist. That doctor put my husband on a different medication and the "wearing off" stopped. It was a normal condition in Parkinson's and Price had no knowledge at all about it. I recently needed a neurologist and my only request was that it wouldn't be Price! He plays in a band and a woman in my husband's Parkinson's support group jokingly said, "I'd like to bomb that bar where he is playing!" A truly bizarre experience that left me in tears of confusion after suffering from a seizure. When I mentioned to him that the Keppra I was prescribed was giving me every possible bad side effect and asked to be taken off of it, he snapped "YOUR TOO FAT. GO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST" and stormed out of the room. And his slovenly appearance is the rotten cherry on top Something ain't right with this guy, and he sure as hell doesn't need to be "treating" sensitive issues like strokes, seizures, etc, when people are in a fragile state and need good medical attention! Weirdest doctor appt ever. He talked more to his computer than my mother... and kept referring to her in the third person as "the patient." He refused to look at any of the testing information that we had sent over. Then it was unclear what we decided to do next, and then he just left without even telling us! Just disappeared - a very confusing visit... and it was about a sensitive topic for my mother. He doesn't seem to have any social skills. Also trying to reach his office is challenging with his ridiculous answering service/gatekeeper. read more

We were also disappointed in this doctor and as the other post states he was so detached from my brother who had a severe stroke and is paralyzed. He spoke into a recorder while we were in the room and appeared to be in a hurry. No new information was given to us about my brother's condition. It was like a record-keeping session. Such a waste of time. And his slovenly appearance didn't help our opinion of him. read more

Update 3/8/20: I just had to pay a bill that I JUST received, which was sent directly to a collection agency as the appointment on the bill was from over 2 years ago. So this BS is still going on even though I have switched. I'm still getting retroactive bills because they can't get their deal together. read more

His website has great reviews, but I think those people were semi-conscious. If I could give no stars at all, I would, but even no stars is too generous. 1st appointment he tried to refuse me. Why? I have a service dog who alerts me to seizures and he's right about 95% of the time. After he was repeatedly told he can be fined, he begrudgingly saw me. His bedside manner is just above someone who's dead, which is what I would rather be than have him as my neurologist. My primary refilled a medication for me for migraines but said the neurologist needs to fill the rest. Well, he refused and dead is a real possibility considering the medication is also a beta-blocker and I have already had a heart attack. This is something he would have known had he taken the time to either look over my chart, TALK to me, or get off of his bluetooth long enough to make me feel like he knew I was there. He likes (loves, actually) to interrupt, cut you off, walk out of the room WHILE YOU'RE TALKING TO HIM, and is very good at demeaning. I told him this medication I was on for migraines wasn't working and I joked about botox. Then repeated that it wasn't working and told him about my family history of migraines. I was in the medical profession for 17 years, not office, all hospital and ER so I've interacted with soooooo many doctors and I fully believe this joke of a neurologist should have his medical license revoked. Don't bother! "Ass" doesn't even begin to describe Price. No "hi, how are you." Can't shake the hand of an 89 yr old man. I've had my share of strange docs over the years but this one beats them all!! I was there with my dad to discuss his disconnect with reality....BUT I got a much clearer picture of "disconnect" from Price. He was completely involved with his dictating machine for 15 minutes before he looked at my dad. Truly, truly stay away! Then he had the nerve to tell me to "really" feel free to find other help for my dad. In other words dont bring him back here. He should be ashamed to put Dr in front of his name. Dr Price is rude and unprofessional. He's very condescending doesn't let you finish your sentence and is very aggressive. He refused to fill out a medical clearance for the DMV because he claimed he needed medical records etc. He asked why I didn't follow up after having a seizure in 2015. I explained it was because he had told me I didn't need to because all of my tests were normal and I haven't had a seizure since last seeing him which he accused me of lying about. He then ended my visit by saying "I want no part in this your can leave now" then proceeded to tell a receptionist/manager to not allow patients to schedule to have these forms filled out because it's a $25 charge and that money isn't going to him and he isn't going to "work for free". Agree with prior posts! Talks to his dictating machine more than the patient. Very bizarre interpersonal style. Never bothered to discuss the lengthy medical history form required before the initial appointment. Difficult to discern when he was talking to you or dictating. I had concerns about early dementia symptoms and all he could offer was making an appointment with my PCP about a medication change. I've been working with and seeing doctors for fifty years and he's probably the most unprofessional MD I've ever seen. Took a memory test on a computer and had difficulty in the memory section; he had no concern whatsoever and had no inclination or desire to assess it further! Essentially shooed me out of the office. One of the most disappointing experiences in my life. I had a neurological injury and had questions. Waited 3 months to get in, only to find he was not the least bit interested in my questions. For example, I told him my vision was weird and he flippantly said, "so go see an eye doctor". He did not ask me details of the injury, only relayed notes from other docs into his dictaphone. My friend tried to ask a question and this "doctor" put his hand up, in my friends face, in a "stop" motion, and said "I ask the questions". Aggressive yet distant. After all that time waiting, I got nothing out of the appointment except that he made excuses for my symptoms by looking at other incidents (unrelated) in my health history. Even though I had no symptoms like that before the injury. I believe he's probably beloved by Worker's Comp as he's clearly on their side and not interested in the patient as a suffering human being. He did try to sell me on his sleep studies....ugh. I left feeling humiliated and frightened. Cried all the way home. Simply not a nice person, and you'd get more bedside manner from a potted plant. read more

Another dead eyed neurologist who even with medical records, presumes your medical history is a lie while speaking incorrect information into a recorder about you, without acknowledging your presence in the room or asking if the information is right. He refused to make eye contact and had the rudest, hands down- the rudest fucking receptionist I've ever encountered, who besides not understanding her actual job, was disrespectful and so stupid and slovenly she deterred progress from occurring in the office. I left in tears, telling the tech I just didn't want anyone to have to find me dead because I had a seizure in the middle of the night, which is what just had happened. I never heard back from this heartless and incompetent doctor. Though he may have been autistic, he wasn't quite as cruel nor obviously addicted to drugs like DR. AMIR. If you can only choose between the two, go to another city. Trust me it is worth the time. Best of luck if you can't, because he/she/they don't give a fuck, Amir WILL misdiagnose- if she can keep her eyes from rolling back in her head long enough to even do that, and you'll be lucky if you even see "Dr" Price's eyes as he states a false medical history about you, in front of you. read more
