Took my elderly mother to Dr. Centurion. A great, compassionate guy. I would heartily recommend him.

This has been our go-to for years. They're incredible and I have to share my last experience…read more I brought my kiddo in to the ER with an extreme high fever and lethargy. From the moment we entered the building everyone was so kind and swift on their feet. We were able to get in a room within 15 minutes; they did chest scans and all sorts of tests. My child was nervous and scared but our nurses did everything to comfort her and even brought her coloring books, popsicles and other entertainment to help pass the time. I WISH I got our two nurses names.. they were absolutely out of this world. They kept the mood light and silly for her while providing us with detailed information without scaring her. Thank you ER team!

I am a bit dissatisfied and disappointed with Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. I am a…read morepatient that constantly is seen in the emergency department because of severe underlining health issues. Anyways the emergency department has a lot of construction going on and parking has become a significant problem. A few times I had to park on the lowest parking level far from the emergency department and nobody was available to assist me with a wheelchair, etc. I have also noticed that the waiting area in the emergency department has become more crowded and social distancing has become nearly impossible. What really was concerning is the shortage of nurses and nurse aids when pushing the call bell. Some of the doctors working in the emergency department also seem uninterested and sometimes have been downright rude. Being told by a doctor that coming to an emergency room is a waste of time when I am experiencing heart issues and breathing difficulties is outrageous. My last visit to CHOMP after a major fall and hitting my head on concrete I was released from the emergency department after several hours. I wasn't given clear information about my results and wasn't given information about precautions, etc. However what really got me fuming mad was that I had to walk with horrific pain to my car in the parking lot. My primary doctor and my cardiologist were really shocked when they heard this considering the condition I was in. The staff in the X-Ray and Cat-Scan were great and really went out of their way to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. I was really impressed with their care. Also a triage nurse named Silka who is German was great and she is absolutely one of the better nurses. Many of the old nurses that I know weren't around and I was told many of them are no longer working for CHOMP. I just hope CHOMP gets these issues resolved quickly and takes better care of patients under their care. My rating is three stars.

I'm honestly younger now at 39 than I was at age 23, and my hormones are working better now. My parents are patients of Dr. Miller's, and he helped to save my father's life when he had a heart attack. My wife saw him before we got pregnant - and we have a book about fertility health coming out soon. Dr. Miller is also an advisor to Silicon Valley Health Institute, a non-profit Anti-Aging education group I run. He has spent hundreds of hours of his own time helping the community - for free - by sharing his knowledge. Seriously - Dr. Miller is one of the rare doctors who uses quantitative lab work (not "vibrations" or other stuff) in combination with clinical experience to work miracles. I do not say this lightly; I run a top health and wellness blog and podcast and I insist on the very best for myself and my family. That's why Dr. Miller is one of the physicians I trust to help me do - and be - more than I thought was possible. Dr. Miller takes a minimum of one hour to spend with you. He will listen to you in a way no "5 minutes per patient" doctor ever could. He also takes on chronically ill and difficult to treat people. In my own non-profit work, I deal with these populations too, with brains so addled by illness that it's hard to think clearly, and emotions run the rollercoaster when you're in that state. Some of the reviews here are clearly from people who have this happening - chronic anger at all "white coats" who ever failed them. Sophie actually calls him "Dr. Phillips" and makes some pretty wild statements that simply aren't true if you've been in Dr. Miller's office, like I have dozens of times.
