The first review spoke about how the stylists discussed how difficult my hair was to blowout while working on me, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and guilty for even coming in in the first place. After that experience, I decided to give them another try and left feeling better about this location. I deleted the review and moved on. Please be aware if you have any texture or thickness in your hair, you will be disappointed. Every time I've come in, I've left notes for the staff to give them a heads up that I have thick and curly hair and to please give whichever stylist a heads up. If, for whatever reason, my hair is too challenging to work on, I'd rather them call me to tell me and cancel my appointment instead of wasting my time. Today, was my final straw at this location. It seems like no matter what, the staff is always struggling to blowout my hair. You'd think between 3 different stylists my hair would turn out looking somewhat decent.... you'd be wrong. I knew as soon as they turned me around in that chair that I'd have to come home a fix my hair, which is exactly what I had to do. The 2 stylists were in a rush to leave to their other commitments, which I totally understand. I don't mind if a stylist has to hand me off to someone else, I really don't care if that happens 5 times during my appointment, I just want my hair to look nice. But, if everyone is in a rush and there's no one to take over for them then the quality of the blowout falls through the cracks. I'm not sure if it's due to them being short staffed, or a scheduling error, or no one wants to deal with my hair, I honestly don't know, but at this point it's just getting ridiculous. Below I'm attaching a picture of what my hair looked like coming home straight from the salon. I had to go back in with a flat iron over everything. For reference, I asked for my hair to be straight. That's it. No curling, not any crazy updo or style, just straight and flat ironed. Why am I paying $70+ for something I have to come home and fix? Unfortunately, though, timeliness is a problem. I booked from 1-3 and emailed to ensure that was a sufficient timeframe for the work. I was assured that the team they were sending could manage it. The hairstylist arrived on time, but the makeup artist was so late, arriving after 2:30. I called twice before she showed up to see what was going on and was told artists could arrive at different times in the window. When she did finally arrive she said she was running late from a different wedding. This messed up my wedding timeline and I didn't have time for the pictures that should have been happening while my makeup was still being done. Its unprofessional for the company not to have reacted appropriately when I called and arranged a backup, or at least offered an explanation other than she doesn't have to be there in the time you hired your beauty team to be there.
