I am no longer a…read moremember for several reasons. 1) All the classes I joined to take were cancelled. 2) Several of the classes that looked interesting were always full. 3) $80/month for a fitness facility and swimming pool was not worth the price. 4) My personal trainer left and I couldn't connect with any of the others. 5) They started charging for stupid things. (Ex. A women's or men's fitness center "card" was $5-for the first card. I can see charging me if I lost one, but come on! At $80 a month the first one should be included. 6) Rudeness. The workers became downright rude at times. That $5 fee I mentioned above...I watched a worker pocket my $5. 7) Planet Fitness opened. For a fraction of the cost I get a lot of the same stuff, minus a pool. Maybe I'll try them again in the future when my daughter is older.

The aquatics director, swim coach, lifeguards have done everything to keep kids, parents and each other safe. My youngest has gotten phenomenal attention during his swim lessons and will be ready for the swim team by summer at the age of 5. My oldest made the swim team at the age of 5 because of their hard work and dedication to our kids, our family and the community. I can't say enough wonderful things.

I signed up for an adult beginner class, but it ended up just being me. The lesson were in the pool at Columbus Academy. I did an accelerated session on Saturday and Sunday for two weeks with Katie Goggin. In six lessons, I was able to do something I've never been able to do, go under water without holding my nose. By the end, I was swimming laps to the deep end, which I am afraid of. It was a short session and I can't wait to enroll in the next one. If you think it's too late to learn to swim, it isn't!

My daughter is five years old and when we go on vacation, she can go into an adult pool on her own without any arm floats, a noodle, or anything else. She'll dive and get multiple rings from the bottom of a 5ft+ pool with no issues, she can tread water for minutes at a time, float on her back, and she's learned countless swim strokes. From a kid who was terrified of the water, to someone that is now confident and can swim independently, this has been worth every bit of it and then some!

It's very spiffy to have a party room connected to the pool area. We sat outside both rooms at a high top to watch her enjoy the fun, and once my daughter arrived to stay with her, we took off. The teacher are friendly and great with the kids…read more They teach the fundamentals well but their pool is sooo small it's hard for the little ones to get more than 5 strokes in from one side of the pool to another. That's difficult to build muscle memory with such short durations. I'd say it's ok but the Golden school in southern Westerville is definitely a notch up in teaching.
