Dr. Relle probably saved my life. My pre-op airway was the size of a coffee stir stick. My mouth was child sized due to traction placed on my growing jaws by headgear utilized by my childhood orthodontist. I had double jaw surgery with this dr. he was amazing and the process was seamless. I had camouflage orthodontics as a kid for my underbite which made my bite okay but my airway was too small causing me to start developing OSA. My college roommate even heard me gasping at night. I also didn't like how my jaws looked recessed. Dr. Relle moved both my jaws forward and my airway doubled as a result. I love the new look as well. He did a downgraft to my upper jaw to give me more tooth show, and it looks beautiful. I also have dreams now, which I never did in the years leading to surgery bc of fragmented sleep due to airway issues. I used to feel like I'm choking at least like 3 times a week and now at 5 weeks post surgery I've only woken up out of breath once this whole time. I had surgery with Dr. Relle a year ago and it was hands down the WORST decision I've ever made in my life. I had a recessed jaw, so my surgery was for airway enlargement and aesthetic reasons. I had reflux as well, and there was a hope that this surgery might address that, but it most certainly did not. At my first post-op appointment I told Dr. Relle that my jaws were misaligned and coming into contact improperly. My concerns were dismissed, and continued to be dismissed for 6 months until I went to another surgeon and found out I would need revision. I also told him a month or so after surgery that I was repeatedly getting sick, but that concern was also dismissed, with him telling me I just caught a bad cold. I told him repeatedly that I might have an infection and he repeatedly told me I didn't. I finally went to another ENT who told me that I had a sinus infection for a couple months and I had to go on weeks of antibiotics. Unfortunately, because of that, I still have the sinus infection to this day and have been sick more times than I can count this past year. My occlusion was perfect before surgery. Now, 13 months later, I still can't chew my food and have to blend salads if I want to eat one, my teeth are grinding down improperly because my jaws aren't coming together properly, I've developed bad TMJ issues for the same reason, and my mouth is beginning to open more and more crookedly. I'm now looking at revision surgery, TMJ surgery, and potential sinus surgery. I also now have to undergo at least 20 months of braces, which is putting me out of work as both an actor and a voiceover artist because I can't speak without lisping. I've been in near constant pain for a year and the amount of money it's going to cost to fix the damage that's been done is astronomical, not to mention the amount that I paid to get this surgery done in the first place. And to give you a sense of the aesthetic results, I sent someone else a picture and their response was, "WTF, that's your AFTER?" I can't begin to express the level of depression this surgery has caused from the constant pain, the sickness, the worsening jaw problems, the lackluster aesthetic results, and the knowledge that I paid the equivalent of a house down payment to get this surgery and knowing I need to now pay a lot more to get it fixed on top of the money I've already spent with all the new consultations and stop-gaps. I have never in my life had a worse medical experience than I did with Dr. Relle. Dr. Relle's response to all of this was that my treatment was "well within the standard of care." Apparently leav a patient with a bite so messed up that they can't chew properly and develop TMJ issues is well within his standard of care. I can't go back and undo my mistake of choosing his as my surgeon, and I know other people have had good experiences with him, but I wish I had never heard his name. read more

Dr. Relle is not only a master at his craft, but an artist. I was referred to him via Dr. Ohanian of Go Orthodontics in Pasadena, and let me tell you, they have been the ultimate dream team. I came to Dr. Relle with sort of a weird, relatively uncommon issue (from what I've observed) that I've talked to other specialists about- including ones at Mass General in Boston (one of the top medical facilities in the U.S.) and Tufts. All of those doctors turned me away from surgery, which I had been researching since I was about 16 years old (I'm now a month out from 26). Dr. Relle has been the only surgeon I've seen who actually listened to, and comprehended, my problems. Dr. Relle was very mindful about how to approach the situation, not immediately jumping to the solution of surgery, and even referred me to an incredible TMJ specialist to assess if surgery would be appropriate, and beneficial, in my case. I'm a little over two weeks post-op from upper jaw surgery, and the process has been wonderful so far. I've had little to no pain during recovery, and can already feel a difference in my bite. Dr. Relle is so meticulous and incredibly thorough in his pre-op observations and planning (the initial consultation is about 3 hours long), so I felt immediate trust with him, and was confident in his work. I was told I needed jaw surgery by 3 different orthodontists for several years. I put it off for a long time because it seemed like a daunting surgery. I met with several surgeons and was increasingly more apprehensive. Once I met with Dr. Relle, my attitude changed and I actually wanted to do the surgery. He helped me feel at ease about this major surgery and thoroughly explained the issues I had and how he would approach each point. It was a very thorough consultation (1.5 hours) and I knew he was the surgeon for me. I communicated with Dr. Relle for over a year. Initially, it was difficult to find a mutually agreeable date for surgery. Dr. Relle worked with my tight schedule and we were finally able to find a date that worked for everyone. I had the surgery 6 weeks ago and every day my bite issues continue to improve. I took note of Dr. Relle's recovery recommendations and made sure I did everything possible for a quick recovery. I recovered very well and was able to get out of the house and speak more quickly than others that have also had this surgery. He is extremely skilled and preserved all of my sensations in the entire surgical area. Throughout the process, I met with Dr. Relle several times. Each drive from Irvine was nearly 5 hours round trip, but the result was worth it! Dr. Relle is an excellent surgeon and I'm grateful he was able to do my surgery. There are not enough words, in fact there are no words or price you can put on a smile and feeling confident about your face. Doctor Relle is a master at his craft. I remember when I first met him, I saw how he lit up about simply talking about my jaw... and it's because there's nothing simple about it. Undergoing jaw surgery is life altering and you have to know what you're getting yourself into. Your entire face will change, you will have to interact with your surgeon for a long period of time due to orthodontics, and you only have one jaw and face and if off by a millimeter, you can be stuck with pain and permanent damage. Really get to know your surgeon. Doctor Relle went above and beyond. I never thought I'd be able to afford jaw surgery, but he generously took what my insurance gave him. He's not a plastic surgeon, he's a master of the jaw and cares so deeply about each of his patients. Every jaw is so different and he works endlessly with his team to make sure your surgery goes perfectly. I remember before my surgery he said he had already performed a mockup surgery of my jaw with his team. Behind the scenes he's constantly working... I've never met another surgeon like him. I had a severe overbite and tmj and headaches and couldn't eat or talk with out pops and crunches. At 25 I got adult braces and Doctor Relle worked with my orthodontist for two years to prep me for surgery. My insurance never paid him for all the communication with my orthodontist. He just wanted to help me because that's what he enjoys doing. He made me feel like I was in the best hands and I was. I used to be so ashamed to be in a photo and how I appeared when i talked to people. My surgery went better than expected. I had a double jaw surgery with Dr. Relle in 2014. Before I met Dr. Relle, I never thought I would have enough courage to do it. It took me 20 years to make a decision as the surgery sounded terrifying to me but then, I met Dr. Relle :) He was not only extremely competent but personable as well. I was referred to Dr. Relle by my amazing Ortho, Dr. Vivian Lee. I had a complex situation, an open bite and cross bite and I think something else I don't quite remember. Dr. Relle is very knowledgeable and personable. Minutes after meeting with him, I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He went over the process in detail & took the time to explain why correcting my bite, though costly and time consuming, really was important for my over health. He was through and was open to answer any & all questions I had. Now, eating is easier, breathing is better and I'm so happy with my teeth. The office staff was always super nice and helpful. They call you before the procedures and keep in touch with you during recovery & so did Dr. Relle. You can tell he really cares about his patients. Parking is next door, or you can valet there for $15-20. I even parked down the block by Beverly Hills High for free a couple of times. Consult was around $200-$400 which is fairly standard & includes the fancy pano xray thing that many orthodontists want. My 23 year old son had orthognathic surgery for his lower jaw with Dr. Relle 6 weeks ago. He has been told for years that he needed it, but we were putting it off because it sounded so scary and we hoped that 'he could just live with it'. But difficulty chewing and pain when yawning became too much, and braces alone to straighten the teeth would only make his bite worse so he decided to do it. Everyone in Dr. Relle's office was super nice and really put him at his ease, as well as making him feel individually cared for. Dr. Relle was warm, patient and answered all the questions in a straightforward, easy to understand, way using 3D visuals, and coordinated with the orthodontist (Dr. Grauer) as if they were one office. The surgery ended up being so much easier than we anticipated! - minimal swelling and almost no bruising. He only used the pain meds for 2 days and immediately noticed that he could BREATHE EASIER than before. We had a great experience and recommend highly. read more

Since I was in grade school, my dentist told me that I needed jaw surgery to correct my underbite. Fast forward several years, I came to Dr. Relle for a consultation for jaw surgery either in 2014 or 2015. I then found out that I needed a double jaw surgery to fix my underbite, narrow upper jaw, and cross bite. I felt devastated because I wasn't sure if I could mentally and physically endure this type of surgery. However, Dr. Relle was very thorough with his consultation and observation. He made me feel less anxious and, ironically, a lot more interested in dentistry. I had to get 8 gum tissue surgeries and a second round of orthodontia treatment for this jaw surgery. I would come to his office for check ups to see when would it be a good time for me to have surgery. After two years of orthodontia treatment, he determined that my teeth were in the correct position for surgery. He took a lot of 3D images of my entire skull and jaws and showed me where the cuts were going to be made. Weeks before my surgery (12/7/18) he told me what to expect and what to drink to receive enough nutrients. In addition, he assured me that his method of wiring your mouth after surgery is a lot different than what you will read on the Internet. Therefore, I didn't have to worry about consuming liquid form food and drinks. After surgery, I was really tired and stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and 3 days. There was some swelling but it wasn't excessive, which was very surprising! After I left the hospital, I drank a lot of fluids to keep myself hydrated and energized. The medicine he prescribed helped the swelling tremendously! Fortunately, I didn't feel pain after surgery!!! I just had swelling but that was expected! Dr. Relle is an amazing surgeon and doctor. If you have any questions or concerns, ask him and he will address them! My mom and I really appreciate the amazing job he did for me. I hope this helps some people make the decision NOT to have jaw surgery. Dr. Relle did my upper and lower jaw surgery about 7 years ago. I had a small over bite and some clicking in my jaw joints as well as headaches. Dr. Relle said surgery could solve these problems. My appearance was never an issue and I did not have any kind of deformity. I now have a jaw deformity that causes a gap on either side of my jaw. One side isn't horrible but the other side is very noticeable. Dr. Relle said that if I didn't have the surgery I may have many problems later in life. I initially was only going to get the lower jaw done but he talked me into doing the upper as well. My front tooth died afterwards, turned gray and I had to have a root canal. He just said he was sorry about that. Which was a bummer but not the end of the world. For the first couple years it seemed ok. But then I started to have jaw pain, neck pain, headaches, muscular pain and loss of hearing. My jaw started to click and pop much more than before the surgery. Now, I have constant headaches, jaw pain and neck pain. I've had to also have a neck surgery. My jaw pops twice every time I open my mouth and you can hear it from across the room. I can't even kiss my husband without a constant popping. My mouth zig zags as I open and close it. My lips are still numb and my teeth and gums are so sensitive it's uncomfortable just brushing my teeth. But more importantly I'm in constant pain, I can't sleep because it's impossible to have my jaw in a comfortable position. When I went to see him because of all of this I got the run around from his office assistant. She never returned my phone calls. I had to call multiple times. When I finally did see him he said his colleague could do another surgery but I would probably have arthritis in my jaw as a result, and then said I'd probably have it anyway regardless. This is one of the potential side effects of the jaw surgery. Arthritis in my jaw, great. What was so upsetting was that he said "well, your bite is perfect". This was infuriating as I never cared about my bite only about improving my health. And now I fear I will live the rest of my life in pain because of this absolutely unnecessary surgery. I have recently spent many thousands of dollars to get an appliance that I will wear on my upper and lower that holds my mouth open and my jaw forward. I hope this provides some relief. It's definitely not attractive and a huge bummer to look like a bulldog with my mouth open all the time. I highly caution anyone considering jaw surgery if you don't have an obvious deformity with related health problems. I'm giving 2 stars because he is a nice guy and I did feel cared for during and immediately after. And I'm sure he's helped many and is an excellent surgeon for the most part. I must also say he did not initiate the treatment. I had an orthodontist and another orthognathic surgeon who did that. Dr. Relle evaluated, and prepped me for the surgery along with the orthodontist. But I do feel like I wish I would have been told what could happen later, as well as the simple fact that I just didn't need this surgery. It wasn't too late then but it is now. read more

I first saw Dr Relle July of 2017 for sleep apnea. I'd tried every other option without any relief. He did a full work up with scans a thorough examination. He walked me through the results and recommendations. My airway was the size of a coffee straw. I'd always felt like I was short on air and now I knew why. The surgery he recommended was daunting - Maxillomandibular Advancement. Cutting both upper and lower jaw away and moving them forward 1/2" to open my airway, them putting in plates and screws to hold it all in place until the bone healed. He said he wouldn't recommend this invasive procedure unless he was certain he could get me significant results. We spent hours talking in this initial visit. When I left there was no doubt that this was the guy for the job. Day of surgery Relle and his associate Dr Lee met me and went over the surgery again. We'd talked through it several times already but they really wanted to make sure I was comfortable with what we were about to do and understood the risks and potential benefits. He said that right after surgery, when I woke up, I'd be able to breathe better. He wasn't wrong. Though very groggy I could breath clearly for the first time in my adult life. That night in the hospital I struggled greatly with pain. The staff at Northridge Hospital quickly contacted Relle in the middle of the night to get authorization for more meds. He was available immediately and quickly made sure I got more pain meds. In the morning he was there early to check on me. I was home by lunch that day, not that I could eat. Throughout the whole process Dr Relle and his entire staff have been amazing. Any issues or concerns I had were addressed promptly and professionally. They went above and beyond in every way. Given the kind of person he is I'm not at all surprised by the quality of his staff and all of their work. I cannot recommend him enough. read more

I just completed my double jaw surgery to correct my overbite with Dr. Relle 5 days ago, and I cannot write in words how amazing and fabulous he has been! I really appreciate everything he has done for me. I interviewed several doctors before I decided to go with him. Right after I had a 4 hours consultation with him in person, I decided right away to go with him. He is very professional, precise,and caring. During the consult, he runs all the tests and uses digial imaging to analyze my situation to determin I'm the right cnadiate for the surgery. He is super patient and answer all my questiones. Unlike other dental surgeon who also does wisdom teeth and other small dental surgeries, Dr.Relle is specialized and focused on jaw surgery only with thousands of hands-on experiences. What I like the most is that he does not push me into doing anything aggressive. He likes doing things smoothly and nicely with 100% care and detail oriented. He is such a perfectionist. So I really do completely trust him and feel I could not be in better hands! During my pre-op worries of not knowing whether to go through surgery, he even returned a call to me and spoke to me on the phone! He also replied my emails to talk about my concerns. During the last pre-op appointment, he double checked my surgery plan carefully and went over every details with me. We optimized the plan again. Dr. Relle even called me after I go home to explain the possible outcome I might have (fortunately I did not have that) The first 2 nights and the 3rd day morning post op, Dr. Relle came to the ward to check my up for three times, making sure everything was ok. He gentinunely cares about patients. My husband and my mom were both impressed by such a respectful and attentive doctor. If you have to get a jaw surgery, go with Dr. Relle for sure. If you need to wait for his appointment, then wait! He is worth of it! I think going with him is the best decision I've ever done! I can feel my recover process went more soothly than other people I watched online. I do not have any numbness after the surgery. This means no nerves damaged during the surgery. Dr. Relle used 3D nerve measurements image to avoid that. I do not have bleeding, drooling, obvious cut on my lips after the surgery. I think all of these are because Dr. Relle proceeded my procedure with great attention to details, very thoroughly. You can get the feeling that he does things very meticulously and carefully, which I think is the best charactor for a surgeon. My main post-op disconfort was caused by the side effect of the pain medicine, swelling face, and being not able to breathe (Dr. Relle came to do the nasal suction for me twice). Dr Robert Relle performed my double jaw surgery back in 2016, although we had been preparing for the surgery since 2013. From the start, he was extremely approachable and patient with my (probably quite dumb) questions. He is a master at his craft and I always felt like I was in safe hands. Despite being a surgeon for decades, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he is always trying to improve his methods, and he was trying out a new technique to reduce patients' pain (it worked - my pain was minimal). I had read blogs about people's experiences with jaw surgery before my own op and had certain apprehensions about what I might expect based on what those other people had experienced. However, I now realize that those people didn't have surgeons as good as Dr Relle. I thought I would have to eat through a syringe or straw for several weeks, but I was able to talk and drink from a cup immediately after the procedure and I was eating soup from a spoon a week later. I had double jaw surgery with Dr Relle in May to correct an underbite. I chose Dr Relle because of his extensive experience with jaw surgeries and the fact that unlike most oral surgeons, Dr Relle only does jaw surgery. That made me comfortable since I know some people who have gotten permanent numbness due to the surgeon's mistakes. Dr Relle is very meticulous, personable, and down to earth and made me feel very comfortable before my procedure. I never felt rushed when interacting with him, and he always gave me his complete attention and patiently answered all my questions without being dismissive. After my procedure, I was in the hospital for a few days longer than usual, but either Dr Relle or Dr Walleen made sure to check up on me every day despite their busy schedules. My recovery process went better than I expected and I am very happy with the results. All my numbness has gone away, my bite now fits, and I can now breathe well through my nose (I had trouble breathing through my nose before the surgery). Dr Relle and his staff are really great and their professionalism, expertise, and attitudes/personalities made me feel at ease and a lot less apprehensive about my surgery. My daughter and I were referred to Dr. Relle by Dr. Glenn Bloore, in Beverly Hills, the orthodontist who we were seeing at the time. My daughter was 16 years old. Her lower jaw was crooked and she had an extreme underbite.... First let me start with the, "AMAZING STAFF". Everyone was very professional, personable, and attentive. Dr. Relle has great bedside manner, is patient, very informative, detailed, and is great with kids. I think I was more nervous than my daughter. This was a big deal and life altering. Sounds dramatic, but when they have to break your daughter's jaw in four places, remove bones and add bones, do reconstructive surgery on her cheeks, and chin, it is dramatic. She is young and has her entire life ahead of her. Dr. Relle spent hours with her and I explaining the procedure, told us he would be performing the surgery on a dummy, or something to that magnitude. He would also be working with the team in Bakersfield to get this right, so when the actual surgery were to happen, things would go smoothly. I was putting my daughter's entire future into their hands. I went to several other consultations and no one made me feel like they were right for the job, except Dr. Relle. The entire idea of my daughter's face going sideways wasn't worth any money in this world. I live in Huntington Beach and we had to travel to Beverly Hills quite a bit, but every moment spent in traffic was worth the end result. Yes, the healing was tough. Dr. Relle called me personally, had me send pictures if there were any concerns, and the staff called as well, weekly. The staff was always available for me. Our aftercare was amazing. I flew down from Anchorage, AK to have a sliding genioplasty performed by Dr. Relle. Previously, I had flown down for a consultation with him. Where I live the surgeons discussed performing a 7mm advancement. I knew this would be too much and look unnatural, creating jowls in the process. Thank goodness I went with Dr. Relle. He acted with such precision as to give me the projection and definition I sought, without causing me to look surgerized or fake. His eye for symmetry resulted in a face that gave me the confidence I needed, personally, to carry on with the major dreams I had yet to realize for my life-and I have achieved them. I am sure that Dr. Relle is an excellent surgeon as he has nothing short of 5 star reviews from everyone. I seem to be the one patient that somehow slipped through the cracks. I had an accident and broke my jaw in 3 places and was referred to Dr. Relle by my orthodontist, as per a conversation between the two of them, Dr. Relle agreed to take on my case since I had lingual braces. My initial consultation was fine. He was incredibly thorough in explaining the nature of my injuries, what was needed to correct everything, what my recovery would be like, etc. What followed was nothing but issues with incorrect, conflicting information and a horrible experience. There's not enough space in this box to clearly explain all of my issues, but I will try: His office coordinator, Janet. She is a nice woman but she never returns phone calls. You have to call multiple times per week to get a hold of her. My first visit with Dr. Relle, I needed one surgery. When I went back a year later, I now needed two surgeries. One to replace the joint in my face, another to re-break and re-set my lower jaw. At this same appointment, Dr. Relle also told me he would no longer do my surgery with my lingual braces and I had to get all new regular braces. Insurance wasn't going to pay for a 2nd set of braces, so I'd be responsible for this extra cost. I needed a metal allergy test since I am allergic to nickel and there would be nickel in the custom prosthetic for my joint replacement surgery. They told me insurance wouldn't cover this test. This was incorrect. When I confronted them about this, their response was "Since we don't accept insurance you need to pay it and be reimbursed." Ok - then why did you tell me insurance doesn't cover it? When I scheduled an appointment for said allergy test, it was for 3-4 weeks after I made the appointment. Janet called me at 4:56pm (they close at 5pm) the day before the appointment to tell me they needed to reschedule me since they didn't have the test I needed. During all of this, Dr. Relle submitted the procedure codes to Cigna for pre-approval. I received two letters from Cigna - one for an approval, one for a denial (remember, I need two surgeries now, so I'm thinking that they are only approving one of my surgeries). When I went in and told him that both insurance and his office confirmed with me that the denied procedure was listed in my file and submitted to insurance as cosmetic only and not necessary, he told me this note was not in my file. We pulled up my file together to look for it, and there it was. I mentioned to him that this note was why insurance sent me the denial letter. He said "no it's not" - it's not? then why else did they deny it? and he launched into a diatribe about "this is what the insurance company wants," that they want me "at odds" with Dr. Relle so that I decide not to use him and "go with someone in-network so they don't have to pay out as much" since Dr. Relle's office doesn't take insurance. This ended up being a misunderstanding on our parts, but a pretty inappropriate response in my opinion. The kicker though - he was very clear with me from the beginning that I would be responsible for some of the costs since their office does not take insurance. I asked what this number would be and Janet quoted me around $8500. On a subsequent visit I asked for a breakdown of this number and was told "Oh no, it's going to be way more than $8500". How much more? $20,000 more, totaling almost $30,000. He was submitting $100k worth of work to my insurance company when only $65k is the standard submission price for the specific procedure codes he had submitted. On top of that, this $30k number was the DISCOUNTED price if I pay it IN ADVANCE of my surgeries. How such a gross miscommunication of these numbers can happen is beyond me. I ended up getting a second opinion from another doctor (who is the only other surgeon in socal that can do the joint replacement surgery) and was told that I DON'T need that surgery, that it's unnecessary, highly risky, and used only as a last resort option. Needless to say, Dr. Relle is not doing my surgery, and it's pretty obvious that his concern was not so much to help me but to pad his own pocket. read more

My wife and I joined our daughter for a consultation regarding recommended jaw surgery to correct a small lower jaw. She also has had years of jaw joint problems and discomfort. My daughter is anxious to proceed with the surgery ASAP, but is admittedly very nervous about having the procedure done. We all are. No wonder he is an expert among specialists. I know quite a number of people who have had this surgery performed by Dr. Relle and all have told us about is caring bedside manner and genuine concern for the patient. My daughter is now very relieved knowing that Dr Robert J. Relle will be taking care of her. As parents we know we are in good hands. I just want to give a huge THANK YOU to the staff of LACOMS. I had the privilege to be work with Janet and be treated by Fajah and Dr. Relle, but overall everyone was super friendly especially the receptionist. The process took just about a year but mostly due to my insurance as they always tried to make it as convenient as possible. Coming in I wasn't sure if jaw surgery was even going to help me but they helped me realize how this has been one of the best decisions I've made, and I don't regret it one bit. I had an overbite, but after the initial visits I was able to get a visualization of how the end result would be. Could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Relle. About 10 years ago, I met Dr. Relle for the first time. I was referred by my orthodontist to have reconstructive jaw surgery and had scheduled a consultation. My first encounter with Dr. Relle was not positive. He told me that I was too young to even discuss reconstructive jaw surgery and he wouldn't even touch my face until I was in my early 20's, at the earliest. He meant it - the entire consultation he used a pen or tongue depressor to point to my jaw. Hearing this news at the age of about 15-16 was earth shattering and felt an eternity away, especially when my orthodontist told me it would happen before I was 18. I continued to see Dr. Relle a few times a year so that he could track my progress. This went on until the end of my freshman year of college. After watching my jaw for a few years, he noticed there was no shifting/movement so he would do the reconstructive jaw surgery that spring. He made it easy to contact him and was approachable when I had questions. He never talked over me like I should know these crazy terms or like I went to med school. He explained everything to me and my family in a way that we could all understand. The surgery was a long and painful process but it was great to know I had such an amazing oral surgeon taking care of me. I was recommended to Dr. Relle by my Ortho doctor. I am so impressed by this doctor, it's almost unexplainable. He is a dedicated professional and the best dental surgeon I've met, and believe me, I have been in contact with more than a few dentists. I have never met a more kind, patient and honest doctor. Dr. Relle was amazing from start to finish.  Our daughter had double jaw surgery in June to correct an underbite. From the very beginning he explained to us exactly what he was going to do and exactly what to expect, he was very patient with our many questions and extremely thoughtful and friendly the entire time. He worked closely with our orthodontist to make sure she was ready for surgery in June, giving her time to recover before heading off to college. When it came time for the surgery he was calm and confident and attentive to our needs before, during and after the procedure.  Our daughter had less swelling and a quicker recovery time than many of the other cases we saw online and she looks fantastic and most of all, very natural. In addition to giving her a perfect bite, he was able to correct her facial asymmetry and deviated septum. Her breathing has improved dramatically and she absolutely loves her new smile!
