Front waiting room has a area for kids and a table full of reading materials. Most I ever wait is half hour when it's really busy (compared to most walk-in clinics, this is a short waiting time before speaking with the doctor). I'm not sure if they're taking any new patients at the moment but it's worth asking if you feel you've had enough going to rotating doctors at walk-ins or are not being listened to at other clinics (you are your biggest advocate for your health after all!). I was lucky to be referred here on behalf of a friend who was a long time patient, as is her family. My doctor is no stranger to dealing with patients with chronic pain issues and I get the feeling from the patient demographics that the other doctor is very knowledgeable too. I can honestly say that I'm impressed that my doctor also takes the time to ask the hard questions, to see how are you handling things in work and life. There's very few days I feel rushed through the appointment but I also warn the receptionist as I book if I think things will need more time for the next visit too. I really hope the changes that all AB doctors are facing this year doesn't affect this clinic. I can honestly say, 15 min barely gets into my full summary of things/updates for her and usually my shortest time there is a half hour. Most times we go past that and I'm very grateful that she gives me that time. There is no debit/credit machine here. So if you need forms filled out or have other services not covered by health care, then you need to bring cash or cheque. There's a bank across the parking lot that is a good back up if you have no idea what the fee will be. It is also tricky calling in to make appointments as the phone hours are reduced and no voicemail option. I always make my next appointment before I leave (I'd rather have to cancel/postpone than be stressed trying to get through to make an appointment). There is also no after hours/weekend times that I know of here. The latest appointment is usually mid afternoon. Parking lot is huge and even if you're not right up by the clinic, there's lots of other space as it's part of a larger strip mall area. Shoppers Drugmart is in the same parking lot in case you use that drugstore for your prescriptions/don't want to drive all the way to your regular location. There's a gender neutral washroom at the back but nothing fancy by any means. In summary a good doctor is worth the driving distance and I'm glad I have her on my medical team to get me mobile.

Little…read morefrustrating with the initial self check-in with temperature reader that wasn't working well. After going into the radiology section, it was a well run process. Things were timely and explained. The radiologist who gave me a cortisone injection was actually the owner and talked about how pleased she was to be able to meet the need for these services out in Spruce/Stony. She also encouraged me to come back in if the bursitis returns (after 3 months) if it lasts for a week. Good to know rather than leaving it to see if it goes away. I will definitely choose to go here again the future if I need radiology services. Found the clinic very welcoming and efficient. Everything was clean and organized.

But I guess if you come here often it will phase you. the patient waiting area is quite unique with chairs that fold out of the wall and are sturdy. See photos. The place is quite busy, staff is friendly and parking is spacious but due to other clinics in the area it can get full and you have to pay for parking. I suggest you find a driver to drop you off and they can visit Kingsway mall nearby or take transit. The wait time is pretty organized so try to be on time. Same thing wait room, then screening room, another patient waiting room, & finally the appointment. Recommended for anyone who needs specific pain management but you do need a referral with a requisition from your doctor for a specific reason.

This location is in a full and comprehensive clinic environment with many specialists and so on and so forth. So that's pretty convenient. There's lots of parking and it's reasonably transit accessible too.

After hearing nothing for 30 days I followed up with the Westgate location and they told me there was no schedule and it could be november before I receive a call. I understand there are wait times in the system but to have front end untrained or uninformed is unacceptable. It is unfortunate I now feel the need to write down the names of people I speak with to ensure accuracy. Suggest you look at other providers.

There's always parking, maybe not right in front, but usually a few spots down from the front door. The front waiting area isn't large with about 6 or 7 chairs. Sometimes more than half are full if family accompanies the patient. The patient rooms are clean and comfortable but the chairs are sometimes right by the door so if there's 2 people, one might get hit in the leg by the door. What is really great and convenient is the attached pharmacy. It's just off to the side of the waiting area and has 2 chairs. The staff are friendly and helpful. I also like the wait is 5-10 minutes not like some larger pharmacies where the wait is longer.

I was referred here by my doctor after going through intense pain for an extended period of time…read more I was really looking forward to finding out what all was wrong with me and getting put on a path to recovery. First of all, you're only allowed to talk about one problem per visit. I was there with torn tendons in both my shoulders, a dislocated knee, tenosynovitis in my wrist, and strong pain in my hips. In three visits all he looked at was my shoulders - when I asked a question about my knee - I was told to ask next visit. Red flag right there. On a follow up appointment to a cortisone injection in my shoulders, the doctor mentioned "Oh, they booked the wrong MRI for you - they will contact you to rebook". They never did. I called the clinic to find out when I was getting rebooked and I was told 'If the first one doesn't take we will just book you for another one'. Clearly not caring that I have to take time off work to go to these, nor the fact that I had to wait almost 6 months just for this one appointment. Finally its getting close and I get a call from the hospital about my appointment - which I now find out is only for ONE of my shoulders, not both. When I contacted the clinic they said "The doctor has no concerns about your left shoudler." I was in shock. They are equally in pain all the time. How is it possible that this was overlooked. The day comes and I go to my MRI - by the way the crew at U of A Hospital are all amazing and helpful. I get a call about a week later saying "oh hey sorry, they booked the wrong MRI and we will need you to come in again for another one." At this point - I'm getting very upset. I've now had 3 visits to this clinic - and I haven't even been allowed to mention my knee (which by the way isn't even set in its proper position), my wrist which is still in pain, and my hips which are basically now experiencing chronic pain. A few days after re-booking the MRI, I get a call from the clinic. They want me to come in to discuss my results. They wanted me to book time off from work to come in and discuss results - that the hospital already told me wouldn't give them the information they were looking for. I asked why I was being called - I felt bad cause the poor lady calling me is just doing her job. Its not her call to have someone take time off from work to come in only to be told 'Oh hey so the MRI didn't work as hoped so we will talk again after the next one.' At this point I was done with this place. I never plan on dealing with this place again. You can tell doctors who actually want to help you and others who are there for the money. This place, they are clearly there for the money. I think its great that some people have had a positive experience here - but I would never in a million years refer anyone to this place. On a side note - the waiting room is small but comfortable and the people working at the front desk are incredibly polite and professional. But yeah, there are too many good doctors out there to bother dealing with terrible ones who care about nothing but money and how many referrals they can pump out. Trust me - go somewhere else.

I have been to numerous Edmonton Chiropractors…read more I went to see Dr. Fix (Tyler) because I had so much pain in my back and leg that I couldn't even sit, the only position that I was comfortable in was laying down, and even while laying down I had pain in my leg and numbness the went all the way down to my feet. It was even affecting my sleeping because of the pain. After only 2 adjustments, I am pain free for the first time in a long time. Tyler is awesome!

They have an x-Ray lab in the basement through mic which can definitely be a timesaver and a small little attached pharmacy. You still can only book appointments when your doctor's nurse is in and the on call doctor name isn't revealed over the phone. Evening walk-in M-Th and Saturday AM as well. They have a clinic nurse on shift M-F who does injections and can almost always squeeze me in last minute!

Management is likely the problem of the clinic. Feels like they try to jam the doctors with with…read morethe most amount of patients in the shortest period of time. It used to be better before enacting central booking, and I'm sure a few other changes behind the scenes. Now, it feels very unwelcoming and lacking patient care. There are few wonderful doctors in there, but such a shame in the way it is run.
