    I've hesitated to write this review, but after two years, I think it's time to share my experience…read more My family and I were patients here for over eight years, and while things started off great, the quality of care and professionalism gradually declined. It began with noticing that cleanings were becoming rushed and incomplete -- sometimes it felt like no real cleaning was done at all. Over time, that lack of thoroughness became the norm. The final straw came with a serious issue involving a financing plan for my son's treatment. Although I agreed to an 18-month, no-interest plan, the office enrolled me in a 24-month plan with 26% interest. It took me four stressful weeks and numerous calls and emails (many unanswered) to get it fixed. At one point, I was even told the account could only be canceled if I opened a new one, which felt coercive and unprofessional. As a Deaf patient, I rely on email communication, yet messages often went ignored. Two years later, I still haven't received the final statement or an explanation for the mysterious $125 credit that I was supposedly owed. Our new dentist also questioned the amount of work that was recommended here -- and several of my son's fillings had to be redone because they had fallen out, costing us $750 out of pocket. I'm sharing this so others know to review their paperwork carefully, confirm financing terms, and keep all communication in writing.

I've lived in Woodbridge for 20 years and have been going there for about 10 yearI'm a Service Adviser at Malloy Hyundai in Woodbridge so I really appreciate truly exceptional customer service when I receive it. Michelle took care of me yesterday before and after my teeth cleaning and I genuinely enjoyed taking with her at the desk until a waiting patron was behind us. Unfortunately I didn't get to see Marv Thomas who is usually the highlight of my visit i guess even Super Woman has to take a day off every once awhile. Half the time she's the one calling to confirm appointments and while in the office constantly supervising 5+ patients at a time. Coming from someone who has a similar customer service oriented job in Woodbridge it's not easy especially iN the Woodbridge/NOVA market. Believe me. I had a temp do my cleaning and she was pleasant. I have major dental anxiety sometimes and they always accommodate my needs and make me feel so comfortable. I'm only 26 years old and I had my first root canal 6 months ago, I honestly was extremely embarrassed, nervous and a little ashamed. They took care of it no problem. Ellie left me a voicemail saying she was having issues pulling up my information. I call MetLife first and they advised me to have the office call them and gave me another number that was not general customer service, but for providers. I called in and someone identifying herself as the office manager answered. I relayed to her that MetLife said to call them and I was to give them this number. She kept saying I need your member number and I explained nothing had changed other than the plan being COBRA now and I needed to give her this number. Long story short she declined to take the number and said she would just close out the claim, whatever that meant. I felt I needed to bring this to the public's attention. I found out what closing out the claim meant. They just sent me a bill to pay the balance . That balance is the responsibility of my insurer. I also left a message for the Dr Thomas (the dentist that owns the practice) to call me and have not received a return call ( it has been 3 days).

    So 2022 it was November I think and I thought to myself I needed to use my benefits for the year…read more Thinking I was beating the December crowds I called this office to make an appointment and was told they didn't have anything until March. (It was for a cleaning and exam, I didn't want to commit to any work yet, because I swear all dentist have those cartoon money eyes) . But I've heard SO many good things via word of mouth this place must be doing something right. So I waited... I mentioned it had been years since I'd been to a dentist. They took that very seriously and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I returned for my cleaning since the exam was very thorough *It was covered by insurance btw*. My plan of care made sense for once! When I tell you I almost cried.... I wasn't made to feel like an irresponsible child, or like I was going to have to sell my house to get my teeth right. Even billing, my insurance hasn't changed in over 6 years yet this was the first time it felt like I was even using insurance. During my cleaning they also made sure I was completely comfortable, most dentists don't bother to add numbing gel, I appreciated it here. Bonus points: You can be added to a waiting list and they do actually call you. Dr. Muller bakes bread for his patients. Dr. Muller is a cool dude. His Dental Assistant is a sweetheart and very kind and understanding. Mary at the front is very sweet and thorough, she is always quick to get my billing sorted and tell me upfront the costs without making it complicated or scaring me, plus SO low pressure. The hygienist was fast and amazing and so personable. Cons: it can take a while to get in. That being said, in my opinion it's completely worth the wait. PS. Thank you for giving me my smile back. Truly thank you!
