I am as pleased as one can be with Dr. Wolfson as my new cardiologist. He is not only a…read morecardiologist but a great whole health advocate as well. He and his wife are wonderful people with great knowledge on the toxic dangers lurking in our world. Their knowledge is second-to-none. His staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable as well....a great shout out to Emily for all her practical and technical knowledge with recipes and supplements! And before my first visit, I made sure I read his book The Paleo Cardiologist. It's packed with information that I had already been using in my life and have now added a few more ideas. The book is great for anyone, not just heart patients. A year ago I had a heart attach and stent procedure. I am not a pill person but had to take RX meds that I did not want to but knew I had to for my health. I relocated from Texas to Arizona and found Dr. Wolfson by chance. Now he's my cardiologist. I have had two visits with him and am off half of my meds. We immediately stopped the Plavix/clopedigral (sp) and the metoprolol and got me on supplements that will help as I get these meds out of my system. His supplements are research and USDA Organic. I did not think that his services or supplements were overly priced. What is your health and your life worth? To me....this is the doctor I have wanted for years to help me back to optimum health after my heart procedure. I am blessed to find a doctor that believes in the same things that I have been researching and implementing in my life even before I started seeing him. I am blessed beyond words that he took me as a patient and is guiding me to better health. Blessed. I can hardly believe that I found such a great doctor. Cardiologist and doctors in general should be this good.

I have been an established patient at Honor Health Heart Group for many years. 2 time MI survivor…read moreand go to my cardiolgist every 4-6mos for lifetime follow-up prevention and care. Recently this past summer my cardiologist, who has treated me for over 20 years left the practice with other cardiologists from the same group to open their own group with Banner Health. I found out this information from Nextdoor app. I was never notified by Honor Health office until months later with a letter from their medical director. My upcoming appointment was prescheduled for Nov. which had to be cancelled. I made an appointment with another cardiologist in December. About a month later I got a call that this cardiologist also left the practice. So I made an appointment with another one in the office that I have never met, Dr. Cluckey. My appointment was set up for Dec. 30. I actually was looking forward to meeting a new cardiologist for a fresh start in the same office. I wanted to stay with Honor Health Hospitals since they have treated me in emergency cases, and is closest to my house and covered by my insurance. But this past week I had a very big disappointing experience with their office staff and have chosen to leave the practice and follow my cardiologist who moved to Banner. The reason being is the poor communication I experienced with Honor Health's Heart Group on the telephone and on MY CHART website. I was contacted by my pharmacy that my prescriptions needed to be called in by me because when they called them in they received no answer. Both of my drugs are life saving drugs, Repatha and my BP meds. Almost always I get 3 months of meds. After 3 phone calls with 3 different office staff, and messaging Dr. Cluckey to renew my prescriptions for 3 months on MY Chart website, they only gave me 1 month for each. I told them that I wanted 3 mos. worth. I asked for the Doctor to call me so we could discuss, but he never did. Instead he had an assistant call me. She was very rude and abrupt with me. I told her that my deductible had been filled for meds and that was one of the reasons I wanted the 3 montrh supply of Repatha before the end of the year. It is very expensive med and I could save my getting the 3 mo. supply. She did not care, etc. Said that I had to meet Dr. Cluckey at my appointment first! Weird since I am on this medicine for life! ( same with bp meds) This conversation ended with me just hanging up on her because she was arguing with me, and I was getting no where. I cancelled my appointment and am going to Banner Group. When I got home I saw that she bad mouthed me on MY CHART website. I feel my Hippa rights have been violated! Something is seriously wrong with that office!

I really don't think that Dr. Bolle whatever her name was cared if I lived or died today, I tried…read moreto explain my whole history of what was going on in my heart. Yet I heard her discuss other things with other patients in the next room. But she was so quick to leave mine. Highly disappointed. If I die, blame her.

The last two terrible reviews, I see, are from 2015, and a fine example of how a doctor's staff can…read moremake or break a practice. It's a lesson Dr. Husein had to learn the hard way, I guess. I'm glad he did, because this is a doctor you want on your side. Since then, he has replaced his office staff with concerned, capable, friendly and helpful people who cross all their T's and dot their I's. As for for Dr. Husein, I'm impressed by him as a professional and a human being, who opts to serve low income families in South Mountain, where trying to find a specialist in the neighborhood is like looking for a lit match in a giant black hole. He never makes you feel rushed, really listens to you, isn't reluctant to order the tests you need, and treats you like the sentient human being that you are. I never feel "talked down to" and always walk away feeling confident in his ability to diagnose and heal. And as a former New Yorker, I'm never confident about anyone! If you need a great cardiologist, Dr. Husein is your man.

The three stars on this review are truly for the assisting staff (nurse, office manager, front desk…read moreetc). They are truly so wonderful, kind, attentive and thorough. I truly appreciate all the help they provided me in my situation. However, if it was not for them, I am not sure I would given past one star. The initial intake visit was alright, minus being told that I am too young to have any real heart issues or any complications from Covid vaccines (even though many of my peers and family have been dealing with heart issues as a side effect). Brushing a patient off because of age is not quite a good practice. Here's where my experience continued to decline. I do not live in Arizona, so I ended up traveling back home soon after completing some in office and at home tests. I wanted those tests sent over to my PCP at home so she could review them when I went to my routine check up with her. I was told that the doctor would refuse to release my results to me (or anyone) before I have a follow up visit. This was the first major point of concern because I am not entirely sure that is legal given that I paid for these tests. So I am forced to do a call visit where the staff is running late so I tell them to take their time. Then the NP gets on the visit and tells me that there is no time to complete the proper duration of the visit because I am late to the call and she has someone after me. Bear in mind, I cannot be late to a call that I have not received. After some more wasted time, she says she will complete the call. I had to press them on the call to send me a copy of my results so that I can actually follow along with the reading, as this was an audio call not a video call (yet being charged as a full doctor visit). Words cannot describe the insanity of that. After going through the visit to be told that my results are fine, something that could have been emailed or sent as a voicemail. Doctors have a habit nowadays of charging you for doing minimal effort work, and charging you unnecessarily for things that do not require a visit. In my case, my results were refused to be released to me until I paid them more money for a follow up visit, that once again, was absolutely unnecessary. I have doctors of my own that I truly appreciate for running an honest practice, I can't say this is one.
