Some of the reason is western dental not submitting the referral forms to pitrowski. But the main reason is that I was told that since western dental told me they would send the referral that they would wait till western dental sent the referral then send it to the insurance. Let's just say that was 8 months ago. I'm so tired of getting their "pay us" forms that I did just pay the $195 consult fee. Jackie the billing person was sour towards me anytime I called and asked her about it. I called my insurance they never even recieved a claim for the consult to be paid, which she said she did, and so I'm done with them, paid them to get them off my back... receptionists and docs were amazing, kind, and helped me a ton. They were always sweet. I hate writing bad reviews, but dentists are a sore spot for me and Jackie not even submitting a claim for the consult, then not returning my calls has just gotten me so stressed that I won't use this office and won't recommend anyone else. And if it sounds like I'm salty.... I'm trying to tone down the litterall hours I spent trying to help my insurance pay for it

Then, the crowning (sorry!) disappointment was extremely poor handling of dental insurance claims, telling me in advance that one of the crowns would be covered, then expecting several hundred dollars in payment when--after the work was done--told me it wasn't covered. I was able to work it out with my dental insurance, with no thanks to Dr. Kim's office. The dental hygienist was very good; the chairside assistant not very friendly.

He sure did make it miserable for me. So he continued with me being in great pain!. Also when she was fitting me for my temporary crown it felt like she didn't know what she was doing. She fitted it so many times & one of the times it had to be taken out & felt like she was having a hard time taking it out to redo! It felt horrible! When I came back they still had to shape crown in place & it was painful again, & he kept going til eventually got it in place, wow it hurt so much! I have left dentist I was only with them 6 months! What makes this even more concerning is that after my cleaning approximately eight months ago, I actually tried to schedule my next cleaning. I was told that the office would contact me in six months to schedule it. Instead, I am now being told that I need additional dental work before I can receive a cleaning. Given the timing and my experience, this feels much more like a cash grab than genuine patient care. Initially, I thought this office was professional, caring, and trustworthy. However, after speaking with other people who have had similar experiences and were also told they needed additional work, I am now questioning these practices. On top of everything else, the office has called me three times, texted me, and emailed me regarding this. At this point, the repeated contact feels excessive. I am very disappointed because I initially had a completely different impression of this practice. I will not be returning and will be reporting my concerns to the Better Business Bureau.

From the beginning, everyone has been kind, professional, accommodating, and very thoughtful about insurance, billing, and making sure I understood everything. Today I had dental work done, and it ended up being more involved than expected. Dr. Beres did a beautiful job, and what impressed me even more was that he personally called me later that evening to check on how I was feeling and to make sure I had taken the medication I was supposed to take.
