Arrived at 4:30pm-10:45pm, over 6 hours from the beginning to end. Yes is was fairly busy but I didn't think all that busy. Secondly, the restroom and the examination room were dirty, I mean gross. The underside of the toilet seat needed cleaned and the floor needed mopped. Worst of all, after the waiting and getting to the exam room, there was what we thought was fecal matter on the control panel of the bed. I cleaned the matter up using rubber gloves and wipes that were on the exam room. I am so happy I have different and better health ins.

Days to resolve a broken toe…read more My husband fell down the stairs in our home with our toddler. This happened on a Sunday. I was pretty sure he broke it, but he decided to wait until Monday morning to call the doctor to schedule an appointment. Monday morning rolls around and he makes the call at 8am. Dr. Goswami, not his usual general practitioner, saw him that same day. Great! She orders him to get an Xray done. After the Xray, we wait for her assistant to give us the results that it was, in fact, a broken toe at the joint area. My husband has been in a lot of pain hobbling around, so it was nice to hear that we would get this resolved immediately. We were told he would get a call from a referred orthopedic and someone would drop off a boot at our home for him to wear (at 10am Tuesday). Tuesday rolls around. We've been waiting the rest of the day Monday and Tuesday morning to get a call from this orthopedic. No call. My husband calls in to check up on the status and the assistant tells us that Dr. Goswami called in to the wrong referred orthopedic. The orthopedic was for a broken knee/hip when my husband needs one for his foot. So, essentially we could've waited forever if we didn't call in because it was the wrong doctor. My husband ended up spending 2 hours out of his work day to find the right orthopedic to call covered under our health insurance. 2 hours. That's 2 hours of figuring out who to talk to, talking on the phone, and then leaving a voicemail with that orthopedic. Meanwhile, at 10am, the lady comes to our home and has two types of prescribed boots/shoes. BOTH are wrong. They're for a broken ankle. One shoe my husband tried on has his toes exposed! So much for this immediate service. We're at the step of now going to the correct orthopedic on Wednesday morning and approaching day 3 of his injury/healing process. When someone has a fracture, it shouldn't take days to resolve. We're hoping the doctor doesn't have to re-break his toe to set it correctly on the 3rd day. We find it difficult to trust our bodies with medical professionals when they cannot provide an expedient, accurate service.

I hestitated for many reasons but my body eventually decided for me. I had everything removed: cervix, ovaries and Fallopian tubes. I had a large fibroid and Stage 4 endometriosis. I figured out that I was in pain for 10+ years. I thought this was my fate. I was having a particularly rough time in October and my iron was way below normal. It was determined that I had to make this decision for my health. The whole process to get me in was rushed but totally organized, thought out and I was handled with the best of care. Dr. Pendergrass is phenomenally talented. I did not have any pain as I recovered. I was out having breakfast three days after surgery! Legacy Hospital was top notch, Dr Pendergrass so skilled and kind, informative and truly wants her patients to live their best lives. Katerina, Dr Pendergrass assistant is fantastic and makes sure you have all the information you need. I highly highly recommend Dr Pendergrass if you're considering a hysterectomy. My regret is not doing this sooner. I suffered for too long. Best decision ever!

If you are looking for a physician who will listen to you, advocate for you, and take your pain seriously, I strongly recommend Dr. Pendergrass. I felt respected and heard throughout all my interactions with her. I had been living with bad period pain and was diagnosed with fibroids by a different doctor who referred me to her, but I figured that excruciating monthly pain was just the price of having a uterus and I should just live with it. During our first consultation Dr. Pendergrass encouraged me to not downplay the pain I was in and gave me facts and information that helped me decide to go forward with the hysterectomy, which was an option I hadn't even considered before talking to her. When I had concerns up until the morning of surgery, she took the time to discuss and answer my questions fully. The surgery went extremely smoothly, and the post-op pain at its worst was less than half of what I had previously experienced every month. Dr. Pendergrass responded very quickly to all of my questions through the patient app both before and after surgery. She is honest, funny, she listened to me, and and she introduced me to treatment options I didn't know were available to me. My life is so much better and wish I would have seen her years ago!

Horrible Experiences- I'm writing this as a daughter who had to step in and advocate for her mother…read moreafter months of being ignored and dismissed by this clinic. My mom first reached out to this office about severe pain back in December, and from the beginning, she was not taken seriously. She described her symptoms in detail, explained the pain, and even told the provider she couldn't sleep lying down because of how bad it was. Instead of offering appropriate care, she was literally told by someone (possibly a nursing assistant) to try sleeping in a lawn chair rather than being referred for proper imaging or tests. An X-ray and EKG were done--even though she clearly said she didn't think it was her heart. She asked for more imaging and was denied. At her next appointment, the physician didn't even remember what she had told them. They pointed to a completely different area than what she had described. How does that happen unless no one's listening? To make things worse, they took blood and made her wait 12 days to get results. Twelve days. That is unacceptable. I finally went with her to an appointment and demanded they take her seriously. Only then did she get the imaging she should have had months earlier. That scan showed a mass the size of a grapefruit near her kidneys. We found this out through the patient portal -- no one called. No urgency. No explanation. Nothing. This turned out to be stage 4 Lymphoma. And if that wasn't enough, she was referred to an oncologist who was out-of-network. So now, on top of dealing with a potentially serious diagnosis, we had to navigate insurance issues and start over trying to find someone else in-network -- all because this clinic didn't do their job properly. This is negligent, unprofessional, and honestly, dangerous. My mom could have been left in serious harm if we hadn't pushed and demanded better care. She now feels unsafe continuing care at this clinic, and we are switching providers immediately. Your patients deserve to be heard. My mother deserved to be treated like a human being -- not brushed off, delayed, and sent to the wrong specialist.

The medical center is easily navigated, with a volunteer near the entrance to help you find what you're looking for. Parking is usually easy to obtain although it can be crowded depending on the time of day and the day of the week that one is visiting the medical center. The restrooms are clean and fully stocked. The center itself is neat and clean. Oregon Clinic Cardiology is difficult to contact, with return calls often not addressing what the message was. My own cardiologist has been a challenge to work with but the facility itself is decent. I hope that Oregon Clinic Cardiology can take a "customer service note" from Legacy and up their game to match my experience with Legacy's excellent customer service.

I've heard of the story many times and I didn't think it would happen to her, but then it did literally verbatim.
