Relatively new sandwich place in the middle of city centre Manchester - located on Oxford Street so near offices and near many other food/lunch options.
You get a choice of different type of bread you want such as ciabatta, sourdough or baguette (an extra £1) or have it without bread and have it as a salad. Then pick from one of about a dozen different sandwiches/recipes such as roast beef and cheddar, chicken caesar, New Yorker, coronation chicken and so on.
You can have the sandwich toasted, at no extra cost, if you want.
They also do a few different toasties options too.
Although at the end of the day its basically a sandwich soup, I think its a step from from your standard sandwich soup. One thing is the quality of the produce, some of which is pretty local. The bread which is from the Lovingly Artisan bakery in Kendal. Eggs from Freshfields Farm in Cheshire. Unsworth brothers in Salford locally source only the finest Cheshire legs of pork (ham).
