Very thorough and effective dermatologist. One of the best that I have found. Sometimes a long wait for an appointment but we'll worth it.

I had been a patient of a well known dermatological office on Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa. Dr Hayes left the well known office on Mendocino Avenue a few years ago. She moved to her current well-attended office at Round Barn Circle in Santa Rosa. I was a sun goddess for 50 years. My rewards for the suntanning are; every three month body checks for cancer cells (which the prior office refused. 6 month checks only), Mohs surgery every month or every other month, Blue Light treatment to deter cancer twice a year, and correct skin care. Yes, I loved tan!! I have had the "m" word (melanoma) on four different areas of my body. Because of the 3 month body checks the melanoma is diagnosed immediately. If Dr. Hayes leaves the current office, I leave with her. Let's hope she moves to Paris, Fr. (there IS a Paris, TX, not to be confused with THE PARIS!). The Dr. Hayes office staff is helpful, attentive, smiles, always pleasant, pure delight!!! The AI assistant is annoying. Welcome to the 21st century!! The phone answering is not the purview of Dr. Hayes! Dr. Hayes's prior office staff, and medical assistants( not "all" of either) at the well known dermatological business on Mendocino Avenue, heard my well founded complaints on the extremely poor interactions by staff/medical assistants, I viewed, heard and experienced myself. "The phone/front desk are the voices of the company"!!! For lovely smiles, courtesy, respect, a tranquil place of business, run to Dr. Hayes for all of your dermotological needs!!!!

Then the education portion of learning and understanding why the products I am using would not change my skin concerns which is dehydration and hyperpigmentation. There is no pressure to purchase products because she wants me to feel comfortable and understand the product she is using that makes the change that I came to see her for. Linda completely changed that for me--she took the time to educate me on why most of those products don't work, and helped me understand which ones actually do. She spent a full hour going through my routine, explaining what my skin truly needs, and gave me clear, simple guidance that made so much sense. The facial itself was incredible--both relaxing and effective. My skin feels softer, calmer, and more radiant than it has in years. More importantly, I left feeling empowered instead of confused about how to care for my skin. Linda is not only an expert, but also so kind and thoughtful. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend MedEstheticsRX to anyone who wants real results and a truly personalized experience!

I met Dr. Cabral five years ago when he was down in Fremont. I was impressed with his demeanor and…read moresense of humor he made you feel relaxed which is impossible for me since I have ADHD and GAD. I had a mole on my neck that needed to be watched closely in clinic twice a year. So the new Doctor was keeping an eye out I would go in a few times a year for my rosacea and have her watch it because it was growing back weird. Fast forward May 20th this year I go in because my Mom said what the heck is that hole in you're neck? It wasn't that big but looked bad. Went in she looked and told me don't worry about it we will take a photo and see you in six months. I said please just remove it it's ugly. She said OK but it will be fine nothing to worry about here. I get a call two weeks later she says do you have a few minutes. I knew then I was in trouble. She said it came back as an evolving Melanoma. She had to go on and remove 0.5 CM around it, but kept telling me UCSF isn't even calling it a Melanoma. That was it for them I was more than vigilante if I had taken a picture and waited six months who knows what could have happened. So, since I was scared and really needed Dr. Cabral I knew he was at Kaiser and something told me to do a search and I he came up at the California Institute in Santa Rosa. I called Mary she was so helpful and what a carrying person. She got me in very quick as I was freaking out and wanted a full body look over from Dr. Cabral and I would only allow him to treat me. I go in he comes out shakes my hand gives me a hug and told me not to worry the Melanoma is in Situ and explained what it meant and that I had a 99% curable rate with Mohs surgery. I tell you he didn't need to learn bedside manner in medical school, for him it just comes naturally. Today I had my Mohs surgery they knew I was nervous. I drove all the way from Antioch to see him for this surgery. I came up the day before and spent the night in a hotel because I didn't want to miss the early morning appointment. I only felt the burning of the numbing medication and that was for maybe 10 seconds and that was it. He took the first piece of skin and in thirty minutes I had to go back a second time. He didn't see this but I started to freak out thinking it had spread all over. After the second time he got it all, sewed me up and I was on my way by 9:30 after arriving at 7:00. I not only want to thank Dr. Cabral for saving my life but his whole staff is top notch 100%. Maria his nurse such a sweetheart tried to calm me down and reassure me and even the assistant when he closed the wound just wonderful people. If he had moved to New York I would have flown to have him take care of me. That is what I think of Dr. Cabral. His extensive medical training speaks for itself, and for compassion he was born with it. Thank you Dr. Cabral and the whole staff at California Skin Institute. You helped me when I needed you I will never forget you guys. Now three month checkups, a bit of a pain but it beats the alternative. Thanks Again William Silveria

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Walter Tom and his entire team. Five stars…read moredoesn't feel like enough. From my very first phone call, consultation, follow-up emails, video calls, and scheduling, every single person has been attentive, efficient, kind, and incredibly responsive. Dr. Tom has surrounded himself with an amazing team. I never once felt forgotten, hurried, or like my questions were a bother. I had a conscious sedation, or "awake," tummy tuck with liposuction to my abdomen and flanks. Because we live out of the area, I had several calls and video visits with the office before surgery. By the time I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and well informed. My questions had been answered, my labs were complete, and I already had my medications in hand. The entire process was incredibly organized. Surgery day could not have gone more smoothly. I had no complications or complaints and was completely comfortable. I actually napped on and off throughout the procedure! The entire surgical team made me feel safe, relaxed, and very well cared for. The post-op care has been just as impressive. Dr. Tom personally stayed in contact with both my husband and me the day of surgery and the following day, and we were given his personal cell phone number in case we had any concerns or urgent needs. On my second night post-op, I developed a mild fever of 100.9°. My husband called Dr. Tom at 8:30 that evening, and he answered his cell phone immediately. He was incredibly kind and reassuring, talked us through what was happening, and gave us advice on what to do. Thankfully, everything was fine and it was simply my body reacting to everything it had been through. Dr. Tom then called the next morning to check on me and offered to have me come into the office if I wanted to be seen. That experience really drove home that when he gives you his personal number and tells you to call if you need him, he means it. I'm now post-op day five and am still receiving a daily text checking on my progress. That level of care means so much. And the results... WOW. I know I'm only five days post-op and several months away from seeing my final result, but I already could not be happier. I can see beautiful definition in my waist and a flat stomach, even this early in the healing process. For anyone wondering about my starting point, I'm 5'2", was 124 pounds going into surgery, and would consider myself to have an athletic build. My trouble areas have always been my "mom pouch" and love handles, where I tended to carry any extra weight. At 46 years young, I finally decided to do this as a gift to myself. I had wanted a tummy tuck for the better part of 15 years. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Dr. Tom and his team have made something I anticipated for years feel remarkably easy, comfortable, and positive. I would choose them again without hesitation.
