I recently hired Noel as the listing agent for the sale of my house in Auburn. I'm very happy with…read morethe decision that I made. I first contacted her last summer after reading her reviews here on Yelp. I wanted some advice when making improvements to the house that would make the most sense when it was time to sell. She came out to see the property at that time (which I didn't expect) and offered me advice which seemed well thought out and reasonable. This year I was ready to sell and I called Noel along with another agent to set up interviews. Noel came out to meet me first and I liked her so well that I cancelled the second interview and signed a contract that night. I had already done a lot of work to the house, but Noel offered suggestions to finish getting it ready for the market and helped find a couple of contractors that I still needed. She even helped me to stage the place using many of her own supplies on the evening before we had pictures taken. The result was that I had 5 offers on the first day that we accepted them. I accepted the best offer, established a second offer as a back-up contract, and then went right to work completing my move out of the house. I was in transit going across the country during most of the escrow period, but we were able to keep in touch and take care of the remaining business by phone, email, DocuSign, and overnight mail. Noel is very tech-savvy, so this all went smoothly. I'm so glad that I selected Noel as my Realtor. I felt like we were a real team during the 6 weeks or so that it took to get my house completed, listed, and sold. I can't imagine that anyone would have done a better job for me.

This was not an easy decision as we had been in our San Jose home for 27 years and felt comfortable there. We were afraid that moving out of the Bay Area would be a mistake and returning would be impossible once we sold and moved. In August 2012, Candace found our dream home. It is a great home on 10 acres with a 2700 square foot shop on the property! We still can't believe where we live. This is a dream come true. The process of finding this home and all that was involved in it's purchase was not easy and there were a few tense moments. Thanks to Candace's experience and professionalism, it happened and the rest is history. We understand the value of living in the Bay Area for working people. Would we ever want to move back? No way. In retirement we love the rural, no traffic, slower paced life. We are living the dream and Candace Morton is the one that helped make that happen. Thank you!

Well flash forward 4+ years and we are selling this house and would never have even considered calling someone else. We have a lot of balls in the air at the moment and we're a little stressed about getting things ready, but as soon as he was involved it was like a weight lifted. She brought a very comprehensive package of comparable properties, and we discussed the estimated value of our home. In August of 2024 we decided the time had come to make a move and we called Carolyn. Once again, she brought a nicely prepared package of updated comps, and we discussed the changes in the market over the last year and her suggestion for a listing price that would be focused on getting the property sold in a timely manner. Her in-depth knowledge of the market and her ability to provide an unbiased viewpoint (since we are so emotionally attached to our home) was invaluable. She identified the attributes and potential challenges that our home presented and addressed how we would manage both. Once we listed the home she jumped into action. She provided beautiful marketing materials, aggressive social media presence, a tour for the brokers from her office and hosted an Open House. There was immediate interest, and she worked closely with all representing brokers to show the house. We had an offer in about three weeks that resulted in a SALE! Once our house was listed, we began actively looking for a new home. Again, we engaged Carolyn as our agent. She quickly helped us define our wants, needs, location, price-point, etc. Every time we asked to see a house, she made herself available. We always felt like she was trying to help find the perfect home for us and never felt like we were being "upsold" or that any house was being "pushed" on us for a speedy sale (as we have had agents do in the past). Our current home closed one day, and the new house closed the next day! Carolyn did a fantastic job of seamlessly managing both of these transactions simultaneously. She is a true professional. Knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, trustworthy, detail oriented and an absolute pleasure to work with. She made us feel like we were her only clients. Whether buying, selling or both, Carolyn honestly looks out for the best interest of her clients. There is no one else we would even consider working with if we need real estate services in the future. We cannot recommend her more highly!!
