We came across Eric Hatch the same way a lot of you probably did--via a cold Google/Yelp search for realtors in the area. As such, we rolled the dice and, after a couple of brief phone calls, decided to let him take the reigns of our search. We had quite a wide geographical search area spanning multiple, multiple counties but Eric agreed to show us one listing I had found and earmarked and he went to the property ahead of time to take copious videos and walk-throughs which really made things easier for us. By the time we saw the place in the wood, we were already on-board and liked it enough to trust Eric with the rest of the process. Highlights of working with Eric that we appreciated the most: 1) this is a well-worn cliche but true nevertheless...attention to the details and minutae 2) not feeling any pressure via a "hard sell" approach. We've worked with myriad agents and brokers and have become allergic to the hovering, hand-holding, "over-narration" type who feel like they have to constantly talk during property tours to make sure we know how great or awesome ABC or XYZ is. Eric is the opposite of that. We found him to be patient, knowledgeable but not overbearing and without needing to engage in extraneous commentary, letting us get a feel for the place on our own, to allow it to sink in without the upsell. 3) Professionalism. If there is one word to encapsulate the experience as buyers working with Eric, it would professionalism.
