I recently purchased furniture from Robb and Stucky. Part of the order included furniture that did not operate properly after multiple attempts to make the repair. I wanted to be reasonable so I asked management and customer service for a credit and not a refund. Management never got involved and some had the nerve to not return my phone calls. They continued to insist that this was a customer service decision and that management and sales has no input. Who are they kidding. I spoke multiple times to their inept and condescending customer service people. They rejected my compromise and insisted that I accept what I deemed damaged furniture. Do not buy their mattresses!!! After 3 weeks my Firm mattress was already sagging. I was sleeping on an obvious slant. The Kingsdown Company who makes the mattress sent out their inspector to tell me it was within their tolerance level. Robb and Stucky customer service wash their hand to it so I ended up buying another mattress that I spent a ton of time researching and ate the cost of it. Robb and Stucky-Naples, has been clearly facing significant challenges in terms of customer service. My prior history was with their Scottsdale store (no longer in business), where customer service was top notch, is certainly not reflective of this store. We ordered a sectional sofa, for our home in NY, on May 27th with a DELIVERY date no later than the end of October....20 weeks. Long wait but we felt was worth it. After many phone calls for updates along the way, we are still without a delivery date. Upon arrival to Naples last week from NY, we stopped in the store and spoke with the manager. We asked him for an update as to delivery date, as we paid our $1000 delivery fee on 10/19, as requested by a sales person. He advised us that the sectional would be arriving at THEIR store in Naples on November 30th! Once it arrives, they contact the shipping company for delivery, which can take several weeks! Not sure how this went to a 28 plus week delivery! When I advised him of the history of our transaction, he said he would call the manufacturer and get back with us. This was 3 days ago. Still no update. Despite my attempt to seek assistance and address my concerns, the manager has displayed a lack of responsiveness and attentiveness towards resolving the issue at hand. Additionally, he was unapologetic, unfriendly and unprofessional. Since when does a customer have to take the initiative to introduce themselves and reach out to shake someone's hand?!? His lack of customer service is disappointing and does not meet the standards expected from a managerial position. Shame on the leaders at Robb & Stucky!!! Time to invest in some training for your sales manager and educate him as to the fact that the customers fund his paycheck! read more

Wow. How horrible is this company! They have zero customer service - Stan and Leslie were the least helpful and appreciative sales people we've ever worked with. We spend about 100k on furniture with the company. We asked them to include a set of sheets that were on one of the beds... it turned into a nightmare. The Ann Gish sheets were delivered, the were basically rice paper so we didn't even take them out of the package. We tried to return them only to be told they were $2500 sheets. WHAT?! The management and sales team proceeded to tell us that sheets could not be returned under any circumstances. Lazy Leslie didn't say a word about that, or the price when we bought them and Selfish Stan backed her up as her manager - instead of making the customer happy after a 100k purchase. The price would be fine if they were great sheets, but they were JUNK. Leslie did nothing for the commission - our designer and my wife picked out everything and basically gave her a list. She ordered everything and did zero work for her commission - the least she could have done is warned us that their bedding sucked and was overpriced - and non-returnable. The only thing we can say good about the company is the delivery guys - they were fantastic, polite and super helpful. Sorry Robb and SUCKY.... no stars for you!!!! We ordered all of our furniture from Robb and Stucky. Two chairs that we ordered had custom fabric. The model chair in their showroom for these two chairs swiveled 360 degrees which is what we wanted. When we received these custom chairs they only swivel 90 degrees. We asked Robb and Stucky to replace the base on these two chairs, and they said the 360 degree swivel is no longer available. No offer to replace the chairs, they just said what we ordered is no longer available. Once the sale is made, Robb and Stucky is not at all cooperative and very customer unfriendly! My wife and I purchased living room furniture which was delivered January 2023. Two recliners (electric) were part of the order. The recliners sampled in the Robb & Stuckey's Naples store were leather, my wife and the designer selected "ultra suede" fabric instead of leather. I specifically asked if changing the fabric from leather to ultra suede would change the comfort-softness of the recliners and was assured that the 2 recliners would be even more comfortable and softer than the leather sample. Our order arrived end of January 2023 and duri the next 2 weeks my wife and I tried using the recliners which were hard, not soft and are very uncomfortable. We notified the designer who had worked with us. She assured us the problem would be resolved but unfortunately Robb & Stucky didn't care enough about us to send a representative of the company who manufactured the recliners to inspect them instead they sent two different men who each told us the uncomfortable recliners were recliners and the uncomfortable recliners were our problem. We ordered two chairs for 6,000. Three days later one of the electric chairs stopped working correctly. We called and took almost three weeks to have someone fix the new chair. The service person said they could not fix. A week later we had to call on a status and was told to put baby powder on the levers which didn't work. Now they say they are talking to manage my to resolve but no call back. Bottom line is we have a new $3000 leather chair that they won't take back and replace. It has been very hard getting call backs and have seen very little concern about how we have been treated. This place should have lost it's name when they went chapter 11 in 2011. Instead they were bought by a Chinese businessman and went into the gaudy and stalking Robb and Stucky. Sam Kuo owns the company and it's a way less elegant of the now gone real Robb and Stucky. It represents NOTHING like a southern Florida home would be outfitted and .... well, nothing like an american home would be outfitted. Let's face it, the buyers can't be local or have a say in the furniture or furnishings that sit on the ornate and head scratching side tables or night stands. The woman that loudly proclaims "welcome" from the sitting perch hidden behind some hideous piece of furniture reminds me of ALL the waitresses when you enter a Waffle House and all shout out "welcome", a failed attempt to recognize a customer. Truth is, there's no eye contact, she can supposedly see you but there's no way to identify where she is. Then, then there is the salesperson that just might be on commission and I'd have arrested if she was an ex girlfriend for stalking us around the store. Lurking might be the best word or better yet sulking when we gave her the cold shoulder. Did you get the hit sales lady? Cold coffee on the second floor and odd furniture to mock and laugh at made it an enjoyable hour during the rain. I went into store, and told the "front desk" that I was there to buy an adjustable mattress set with base. They sent me to the mattress dept. I waited and waited and waited. Finally the salesperson came and when I told her what I wanted, and said I believe it would be 2 XL twins, she disputed it and said, oh no, it's one mattress. I said, no, I wanted 2. She had to call her rep. I was teaching her! I honestly would have bought a mattress as I had done all my homework. We purchased a $5000.00 sleeper sofa from the Boca store in March that was on the showroom floor. It was delivered in early April. When they delivered it we noticed the black cover on the bottom was torn. The delivery people made note of it and a service person was sent out to check it. They replaced it in a reasonable amount of time about a month. We never opened it up until November to see about putting a mattress cover on for guest that were coming for the holiday. At that time we noticed 2 yellow spots on the mattress so I called the store manager to tell him. He was busy and I was told he would call me back. Well this went on nor about a week and 3 phone calls before I was able to talk to the manager. He told me customeer service would call and set up an appointment. That took another week for them to call, but they sent out the service man and he thought we spilled something on the sofa or an animal did it we have no pets. At that time he took pictures of the stains and said customer service would get back to me. Well customer service called and said we only had 72 hours to inspect the sofa but they would have someone come out to try to remove the stains but I had to sign a waiver of liability. They also said they had pictures of the complete mattress from the time the service person was here for the repair of the bottom cloth and there were no stains. So I asked them to send them to me and when I saw the pictures they did not have any pictures of the sofa mattress open. They came out to clean the stains and made them bigger and more noticeable than before. Now the refuse to replace the cover but will pay for labor if I want to pay for the mattress covering ($220.00) They claim because i signed the waiver they will not cover the whole cost. We purchased an area rug, couch, and chair and ottoman. The carpet was nylon and after 6 weeks started pilling. The mill made them remove the area rug and send it back to the mill. They sorta fixed it and told us not to use a vacuum with a beater bar. Would not have purchased it if we knew that ahead of time. Now the sofa is pilling and we just got this from Rob & Stuckey's customer Service Supervisor. This is what the factory wrote" the chosen fabric Denman Sterling make upis 80% polyester 20% linen. Textiles are made with a yarn, spun thread etc.. due to friction the fibers will break and result in pills. This couch is 10 weeks old. They said a sweater shaver will remove them. Robb & Stuckey said they will send the tech back to remove the pills with the shaver. This is totally unacceptable as we were never told about this issue. What is up Robb & Stuckey. You need a lesson in customer service. I will never shop there again. I have 2 homes and have many couches and area rugs. Never have we had an issue where things were not corrected. read more

My husband and I were in the market for a bedroom set and decided to visit Robb and Stucky's showroom in Naples last week while we were in town. We were greeted by the receptionist who was attentive & pleasant and frankly the best part of the shopping experience. We were turned over to Susan who spent about ten minutes with us before we went off on our own to have a look around. The showroom is BIG so we had a lot of ground to cover. After an hour plus, we were never re-approached by our salesperson and at this point had questions after seeing a bedroom set and patio furniture that we liked. We were there to buy, but no signs of Susan. Keep in mind, it was a Monday and not busy at all. So, we made our way downstairs to the receptionist and asked if she could page her. At that very moment, another customer walked in and asked for Susan and the receptionist mentioned that she was with a client. Susan walked up to the desk and overhearing that, forgot about us and addressed the new customer. She could have easily said "I'm with another customer, have a look around and I will be with you momentarily." Unfortunately, that did not happen as we stood there waiting while they were having their dialogue. Susan eventually make her way to us, but at this point we were over it and just left. May I end by saying that we have since purchased the Highland House (Candice Olsen) bedroom set and Woodard Patio set from another source who puts more of an emphasis on customer service and appreciation of our business. read more

We have ordered furniture from Rob and Stucky and been pleased with the furniture received. Recently we ordered an ottoman and were told it was a certain dimension and when it was received it was different from what we were told. The Ottoman is nice but it is impossible to get anyone at the store or at customer service to pay any attention to our complaint. I have even given them options on how to correct the situation and offered to order another ottoman if it had a reasonable price. They require that you called them within 72 hours of delivery of a product if it is not as Promise Or if it is damaged. I made six phone calls and wrote four emails in addition to calling customer service three times in the next week and never received a response until the third call to customer service. I sent pictures of the Ottoman with its measurements and once again Robin Stuckey has disappeared and not contacted 10 days later. Very poor customer service when something goes wrong. I can't recommend Robb and Stucky. It was very difficult to get help when we went in looking for a bed, window treatments and bedding. After walking around a while, Jane introduced herself, but she was busy multi-tasking and it was difficult to get a dedicated slice of her time. When we asked another saleswoman whether a specific bed came in different headboard heights, she said she'd have to get Jane (which took 10 minutes). Jane then helped us look at fabrics, but she had to cut us short because she had an appointment previously scheduled. She pushed us to make an appointment for the next day. I suggested waiting until the sliding glass doors were measured but she said she'd have some fabrics pulled if we came the next day - and for me to bring pictures of the room. At the next day's appointment, she wasn't prepared at all - no fabrics pulled or books ready. She spent less than 10 minutes talking to us when she left us with hunter douglas books and said she'd be back. After 30 minutes, she still wasn't back and we decided to leave. As we were headed out of the room, she was coming in with another customer. I explained that we had waited too long and we're leaving. She apologized and said she didn't know that the other customer was going to drop by. She assured us at that point that we'd have her undivided attention (which seemed unlikely given she had another customer in tow). But we told her that we weren't interested at that point. After that we went to Clive Daniels and had a very positive experience. We had a saleswoman walk around with us answering questions - and she offered to come to our home to help us decide on stains and fabrics. read more
