I've been holding this off for yearrrrrrrs but my time ran out. I was in endless pain, sporadically cranky and unable to eat or drink anything hot or cold. These two woman took my blood pressure prior to extraction. It was out the ceiling so they suggested I wait a few minutes to get my nerves calmed down. Thankfully it went down. I did not have any anesthesia. Took it like a G. It did take me a good full week to feel back normal but I would not have had any other dentist do this but these two. I highly recommend them for cleanliness, professionalism, post-op explanation and overall friendliness!

Apparently Dr. Blank works magic, because it really wasn't a painful procedure in the least. He did a wonderful job, and I would recommend him/his practice to anyone. I still have appointments on a yearly basis for them to check my gums, and the staff is amazing. The office is a bit small, but it is clean and efficient. As a side note, Dr. Blank is really a funny guy. He prides himself in being the self-proclaimed "best" at what he does. I won't disagree with him, he's pretty amazing!

Recently had a scaling and planing procedure done with Dr. Alan Levy. He not only has a wonderful…read morebedside manner (very kind, gentle, cheery and funny) but he has been an oral surgeon for 30 years and he knows his "stuff!" I was very afraid of the procedure (blood and gore and pain) and he assured me that there would be very little blood, that he would give me numbing shots for the pain and that the pain would be minimal after the procedure. The numbing shots did hurt a bit (when doesn't a shot hurt, right?) but as soon as I was all numb, he went to work and expertly did his procedure. Afterward when I was getting ready to leave, I noticed a bigger bit of blood and mentioned it and he put me right back in the operative chair and looked into my mouth to discover a few blood clots that he suctioned out. Bleeding practically non-existent after that. Pain level was low enough that I didn't need to even take Tylenol. His office is efficient, clean and a nice place to be if one has to visit an oral surgeon. I recommend him unreservedly.

Hygenist Barbara, too, is confident, calm, gentle but thorough with the cleanings -- and kind. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel a vibrant energy here. There is no drama or anxiety (see my review of Murray Dental), like you can feel at other dental offices. And no one is trying to get you to agree to unneccessary procedures. Dr. Kaufman and his team focus on preventive approaches. A friend recommended this dental group and I, in turn, recommended that two (now) satisfied patients transfer from other offices. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kaufman and his terrific team and will continue to recommend his services to friends and family. He is apparently the dentist that other dentists go to see when they need work done. As a kid, my dentist was really crappy. In college it seemed like the dentist was always trying to get me to do something that was more expensive. Thats not the case with Dr. Kaufman. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and especially the quality of his work. When getting my crowns done he spent in an incredible amount of time getting them to be perfect. I could tell that he cared intensely about the quality of his work, and would simply not let me leave his office without getting things just right. This is the first positive experience I have had with any dentist and I cannot recommend Dr. Kaufman highly enough.

Dr. Michael Herman patiently walked me through what needed to get done and what we were going to "keep our eyes on" moving forward. I understood what procedures were necessary and when I shared my pre-existing anxieties, he reassured me that they would do everything to make it as comfortable a process as possible. I went in for two separate appointments and, though I could never say I love having fillings done, it was a wonderful, almost completely lovely experience (minus the obvious initial little pokes). The team was kind, patient (encouraged me to signal whenever I might need a break) and even gently consoled me while I was getting an injection. I called my husband immediately following my first filling appointment and told him he needed to get excited because we had finally found our first fabulous "forever" dentist. He knew I wasn't joking because I've never used the words excited, fabulous and dentist in the same sentence before. I also voluntarily went back two days later for part two of my procedure. Y'all, this is the place. While I dont like the buzzing sounds of dental tools, I'm not remotely bothered about going back in October for my cleaning, which coming from me is HUGE.
