Then I got a message that the insurance had paid them and it was "posted to my account". If I wanted the money I could "call Michelle". SERIOUSLY??? They were not even going to notify me they had my $400, much less send me a check. Thankfully $400 is enough to me that I didn't forget about it. The cleaning was fine and the dentist seemed fine although everything was an upsell. I found another dentist. Hope I can ultimately get my money back.

I went in for a molar with pain and heat / cold sensitivity. The dentist said a placing a crown…read moreover that tooth would fix it. I asked why he wasn't going to do a root canal first. He said it would be fine. After selling me, and fitting me with the crown I had terrible pain with the temporary crown. Long story short they convinced me the new crown would fix it which it did not. I had to go to an Endodontist to get a root canal done through the $2000 crown and spend another $1800 for the root canal. Then another $250 to get the crown filling. I've lost trust in this provider and the manager was not willing to listen to my concerns and acted like this was normal business.

When it comes to relieving it, you will not receive better care from another endodontic group. I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

One way this experience could have been improved would be to provide a cushion behind your neck during the procedure. I felt it would have been much easier to relax if my neck could have rested against something since it is a long procedure. This would have really changed my overall experience. Besides this, I felt the experience was positive. They got me in quickly and the doctor was professional and efficient.
