Roast doesn't appear anywhere on google or yelp, which shocks me cause it's been open for at least 6 months that I know of, and it's a great little cafe!
The prices are a tad on the high side and the portions are just a bit smaller than I'd like for the price, so from a value perspective you might consider other options, but the quality of the food here is phenomenal! I'm pretty sure all of their breads are baked fresh in the shop that day; the soups made from scratch and their sandwich ingredients are top notch.
The service is extremely friendly but it can take a little while to get the food since everything is prepared as it's ordered; I think with a party of 6 it took us around 15 minutes to get everyone's food sorted.
I had a hard time deciding whether it should be three or four stars; the big consideration for me was value. In the end, I am definitely a fan of the establishment and expect to eat there often. Besides, these days value has come to mean cheap -- when you're dealing with quality food like what they serve at Roast, the consideration of value takes on a completely different meaning.
