First review about laser hair removal, she signed a release form that everyone signs before treatment, clearly states that everyone will get different results and some may not get any. It's not the laser technicians fault or lack of capability to practice, simply put... this customer was one of the few who did not benefit from treatment, sucks but that's life. The second review, same thing except client thinks shes an expert at someone else's job and it sounds like a miscommunication between "said" client which can happen when a client thinks they know more than the professional. Now that that's out of the way... This is by far the CLEANEST most PROFESSIONAL medical spa I've been to. My Esthetician was so incredibly nice, professional and knowledgeable. His appointment was at 7:50 a.m. and was told to be there at 7:20 a.m. He didn't get called back until after 8 and after sitting in the freezing room almost naked for 25 minutes he got dressed and left. He was at office for an hour and assume first patient. He was frustrated with the waiting and doctors not concerned with patient time. He also had a job to get to. I had Mohs surgery in March and went back the Thursday after my husband for a wound check. My appointment was at 10:00 a.m. so got there at 9:45 a.m. I was called back to the room at 11:02 a.m. and saw doctor for maybe 3 minutes. Not sure why a 3 minute appointment is over an hour wait. There were others in waiting room getting frustrated with the wait.

No matter is I wore a t-shirt, long sleeves or a tank top, I would sweat no matter how hot or cold it was. Fortunately, I didn't have a lot of odor but that probably thanks though the prescription strength deodorant/antiperspirant that I used! I constantly ruined my shirts though. I heard a radio ad quite awhile back about MiraDry and I knew that it was something I definitely wanted to have. I did my research and the procedure seemed pretty simple! I just needed to get it done. I finally had the opportunity to get my MiraDry treatment a few days ago at The Laser Spa at Sonoma and I'm very pleased with the results so far. The procedure didn't take much time at all. My arm pits were thoroughly cleansed and then they did an iodine starch test to see how much and the area that I sweat the most! It was BAD!!! My esthetician then picked the appropriate size template to use during treatment based on this test. After cleaning the area again, Dr. Spanganberg was very efficient in preparing my arm pits with the anesthetic injections so that my arm pits were numb and plump for the procedure. These injections were mildly uncomfortable for me but didn't hurt. Once Dr. Spanganberg completed the injections, my esthetician transferred a temporary tattoo template to guide them through the treatment. This actual treatment was a breeze! There was a couple times that I felt a slight twinge but for the most part it was a very simple treatment. Having each arm up and stationary for an extended period of time was literally the most uncomfortable part of the treatment! After the treatment was complete, I was given ice packs and told to take ibuprofen for the swelling. The first night I was still slightly numb and I was swollen. I woke up with a couple small bruises and some swelling. During the day after treatment, I felt a little swollen but by the end of the day I felt pretty much normal again. Today is the 2nd day after treatment and I do have slight swelling but for the most part, I feel I can return to my normal activities. As of right now I've had no sweating nor any odor. I look forward to the weeks to come as the weather gets warmer in AZ and not have to worry about soaking my shirts with sweat! Can't wait to see the results of not having to shave my armpits either!!! I'll provide another update in a couple months!!! So very thankful for this treatment and Dr. Spanganberg and his staff for giving me a great experience!!!

I was going to another salon but started coming here after I moved to the area. So I knew it wasn't supposed to be so painful and that they were supposed to numb. But when I spoke up, I was condescended to about how "it's not that painful". They never wanted to numb and were not nice about it either. And most importantly, there was no progress between visits. I went to AZ Laser Studio in Mesa afterward, and it's been such a better experience. And cheaper. They numb, there's tangible progress, and they're NICE.
