This park's playground looks small and unassuming but it really was the perfect place for a relaxing Sunday morning. We visited here with our 18 month old for the first time and we loved the variety of activities - basketball court, a vehicle area, sand area, swings, and the typical playground set. And even more, we loved how there was nobody else there. The most unique aspect to this park compared to the others in the area is that it has a car/scooter/bike fenced in area. There are several vehicle options for the kiddos and I loved how safe it felt. I also really loved the sand area with the toy trucks and the little house. What's better than a normal playground? A playground that already has toys that you don't have to bring!
I would say the target age is definitely on the younger side. Which was perfect, because my son can sometimes get a little intimidated and shy around older kids at parks.
Parking does look to be tough to find. You'll probably have to find a spot on the street.
Another huge plus is that it is right across from Sweet Anisette where you can pick up some delicious baked goods and a coffee to enjoy while the kids play! read more
