WHAT A RIP OFF! Please DO NOT FALL FOR IT! There is a tiny little station at Lamy, and the WiF works. The network is "RideSky" and the password is "skyrailway" Do yourself a favor and either book an Uber or Lyft before you arrive, or just get off and use the wifi to get to the apps! (You probably won't have signal and they take advantage of that!) The driver for this rip-off company waits for the Amtrak train and then tells ppl "no Uber will come out here." NOT TRUE!!! He charged us $40 per person!!! $120 total for a trip into town that Uber or Lyft does for $19-$39! AND he spent the whole trip telling us that he was doing us a favor! My husband gave him the physical address of the hotel we were staying at, but he drove in the opposite direction downtown and then claimed he had another fare, and since he did us a favor by driving us without a reservation, he was dropping us off MILES from our hotel and that he'd come back 30 minutes later to get us! He claimed that "every hotel in Santa Fe is the Santa Fe something-or-other" and that we told him the WRONG HOTEL. WE DID NOT! We booked an Uber out here for our return trip for $19 TOTAL. THIS IS A RACIST COMPANY. When I was picked up at the Lamy train station, the driver, Danny, helped the white couple with their luggage and told me to carry my two heavy suitcases over the rocks to the van. He gave the white couple his card to call for the return trip and ignored me. When my return train reported 3 hours late to depart and I called to reschedule my pickup, (two hours in advance) they didn't answer the phone or call me back or answer my follow up text. I happened to catch Danny outside my hotel picking up another white couple and he brusquely told me he would not reschedule my pickup, I would have to sit in the train station for three hours. This is even though they advertise service till 5pm. I am sure if I were white, he would've gladly rescheduled my pickup. His attitude was rude with me and friendly with white people. I will be notifying Amtrak of this treatment since they are the designated thruway service between Lamy and Santa Fe. read more

There is NO other service I could find that would take me from ABQ airport over to the Inn I was staying at in Los Alamos, NM, which is a 2 hour drive. I was very glad to find this one. It costed me about $85 dollars one way which is still cheaper than taken another shuttle only to Santa Fe (1 hour away from ABQ) and then a cab the rest of way - 1 hour more (can run you over $100 one way). The thing is with this shuttle, you MUST RESERVE your spot to make sure you get a ride. You may be able to when flying in, but they are a small company with only a few drivers going back and forth between Los Alamos and ABQ all day long. They are located in the ABQ airport near Carousel #3 in the baggage area. If you are going to Santa Fe only, they are much cheaper, less than $40 one way. read more

Much, much, MUCH better than their local competition. I opted to wait longer at the airport to get a Roadrunner shuttle out of ABQ rather than take an earlier Sandia Shuttle, but after regretting using Sandia previously, I opted to wait for Roadrunner. It was absolutely worth it. Drivers are polite, courteous, and helpful. My only suggestion would be that while it's fantastic to make conversation and engage with passengers, it's even more important that drivers keep their eyes on the road (and the van in the lane) at all times. I took Roadrunner both out of ABQ and on my return trip to ABQ and would use them again. read more

My family and I had a 6am departure and I used Roadrunner to get us to the ABQ airport. They only had a private vehicle available to accommodate us at that ungodly hour. The driver showed up on time (early actually), and was very professional, and friendly. The vehicle (an SUV) was very clean, and comfortable for all four of us, and all of our luggage. The drive to ABQ was pleasant. Overall a great ride, and experience . I will definitely use Roadrunner again! read more

From start to finish this private shuttle could not have been better. Daniel was waiting for us at baggage claim at ABQ when we arrived. His Ford Expedition was parked just outside and there was plenty of room for our 4 gigantic suitcases. We rode very comfortably and had water and mints available to us, as well as charging stations. Daniel was very informative about the area and we learned a lot about the areas we passed through. When we arrived at our destination, Daniel took our bags to our rooms, which was so appreciated. Roadrunner failed to pick me up for a trip to the airport. When I called I waited on hold for 10 minutes for them to be rude to me. The shuttle ride is $32 for 2 of us. Uber was only $22. Way outdated of a business. In no way would I recommend this business. read more

BEWARE. On 12/5/19 I booked a ride from Ojo Caliente to the Santa Fe Airport for 12/17/19. The $175.53 charge appeared immediately on my credit card. The next day, I cancelled the reservation. Their official printed policy is to offer full refunds if a reservation is cancelled more than five days prior to the date of service. I received a confirming email of the cancellation on 12/6/19 and was assured that the charge would be credited back to my credit card. Four weeks and four phone calls later, I have not received credit on my card. read more

We hired a bus for the wedding party, a private car for our exit, and also a few private cars for some out of town guests coming in from ABQ airport that needed a ride to Santa Fe. I have nothing but great things to say about all FOUR of the services we rented from them. The owner, Kathy, is such a sweetheart. She cares so much about her business and wants the best for your transportation needs even if it gets complicated she is there to help. I'm happy to write a very positive review for Roadrunner Shuttle. Coming and going, our shuttle was reliably on time. The vans were comfortable and felt safe... both drivers were friendly, helpful and didn't freak me out with their driving. I have issues when someone else is driving and there was none of the erratic speeding, switching lanes, slamming on brakes, etc. that makes for a harrowing experience. Good drivers! My mom took Roadrunner Shuttle from the Albuquerque Sunport to Los Alamos, and found the service to be efficient and friendly. That was in May, 2011. I just called today (8/18/11) to book another reservation, and was informed that they no longer provide service to Albuquerque. Booked a private charter for a bachelorette and Dusty was easy to work with and very helpful in organizing our booking despite multiple changes to the reservation. He produced a contingency plan for inclement weather as our destination was up a dirt road in the mountains and came up with a solution that stayed within our budget. It's very ironic, but we were told by the Hotel St. Francis staff that taxis were unreliable and we should use Roadrunner to get to the Santa Fe airport... I confirmed 2 people for the 9:45am shuttle to the airport on Sunday. After waiting until 10:00am and still no sign of the shuttle, I had to ask my father, who was at my brother's wedding brunch at the Hotel St. Francis, to leave the brunch and drive my girlfriend and I to the airport. If having to pull my father out of the wedding brunch wasn't enough, a Roadrunner employee at the airport accosted us as if we were in the wrong for getting another ride to the airport. He changed his story from the shuttle was on time to it was there at 9:55am at the latest (surprise surprise, I had said we were there until 10:00am). How a company can rudely accost their customers after they made a mistake, I do not understand. In the future, I will never use this company, and as I mentioned first, ironically go with the "unreliable" taxis, which are much more reliable than Roadrunner. read more

We were in a bind in Santa Fe due to airline issues and needed to get to ABQ. We landed with no reservations and the staff at Roadrunner Shuttle & Charter was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The service was extremely friendly and the prices were more than reasonable. The staff was very friendly and made the travel time go by quickly. I would definitely use them again in the future (and recently learned they are expanding services to take customers to ski resorts and other areas). read more

Had a flight delay of three hours and notified them immediately from the airport that I would get in three hours later--giving them time to cancel a driver. They said they had no driver available three hours later at the airport. Would not issue a refund that was prepaid and said I would have a credit. Four months later I asked to use the credit and book a shuttle. They had no one available this time either. Refused to refund my 44 dollars. Be very careful of this business. They seem to take your money and then have no one available. read more

I was very disappointed by the level of service and competence that I saw. I was scheduled for 2 people to have a 2:30pm shuttle from Santa Fe to ABQ airport. For a handful of calls to the dispatch over the 30+ minutes after the expected arrival of the shuttle, all I was told was that the driver was "en route". Quite simply, the explanations I received and unreliability of the "en route" estimate was unacceptable. One the shuttle showed up after 3pm, the driver took us to SAF airport instead of ABQ, which was in the wrong direction and added more than 30 minutes more to our trip. Again, this lack of communication between the driver and the dispatch is appalling. The driver tried his hardest to get us to the airport in time for our flight by driving 90+ mph on the freeway. We arrived a few minutes before late bag check and only made it to our gate with less than 5 minutes before scheduled boarding. If we had not scheduled the shuttle to pick us up 2 hours and 40 minutes before our flight was scheduled to take off, I do not think we would have been able to make our flight given the lack of coordination, communication, professionalism, and competence exhibited with regards to this reservation. read more

Roadrunner Shuttle is one of three services available between Albuquerque Sunport airport and Santa Fe. The company will also provide service to communities near Santa Fe. A small inconvenience is that you can't book online, like a less expensive alternative, Sandia. Sandia is owned by the taxi company having a monopoly in Santa Fe, is more businesslike, but is also a colder, less personal operation than Roadrunner. Sandia's vehicles are significantly more packed, and they will only take you to a hotel in the central Santa Fe area, albeit that's a long list. Roadrunner, on the other hand, provides door-to-door service anywhere in the region, which I find a significant advantage, having a home in the city. I take a shuttle between Santa Fe and Albuquerque airport back and forth each and every month, and vastly prefer Roadrunner. It's a bit more expensive, $38 each way, vs. Sandia's $25 one way and $45 round trip. Roadrunner has no round trip discount anymore. For a short period, they were thinking of giving up service to Albuquerque (they are based out of the Santa Fe airport) and were telling people that they'd done so, but then (thankfully) backed out of this decision. They are fully operative. I suggest booking several days ahead so that Roadrunner can accommodate your needs into their scheduling, as they work on a very flexible basis, unlike Sandia, which has regularly scheduled shuttle times. I find this flexibility excellent, for if they are expecting you they will build their schedule around your times. Waiting periods are subsequently reduced. Pickup likewise is made easy as they come to get you wherever you are. You don't need to be waiting at some secondary pickup point. Lastly, I find that the "interesting quotient" of fellow passengers (for conversational purposes) is higher on Roadrunner than on Sandia. Just be sure to call several days ahead, and don't be put off if you get a recorded message. They'll call you back--the deficit in professionalism in this outfit is made up in personality. One caveat--if you're planning to pay with a credit card, do so in advance over the phone. Often lots of excuses are made as to why they can't do it if you wait until your trip. Cash transactions are apparently their preference. The third alternative, by the way, is Twinhearts Express, which operates between Taos and Albuquerque, but can accommodate drop-offs in Santa Fe. These people are long on personality, with very nice drivers, but really short on professionalism and booking. A drawback is that they have only four trips a day, none early and none late. read more

I was very pleased to have taken the shuttle from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. My bill was only $30-40, I can't quite remember. I absolutely hate most public transit and taxis and things because I don't trust the maintenance and many times the vehicles will have a strange smell which doesn't help my motion sickness. The van I took was incredibly clean and well maintained. The driver was friendly and accommodating as we chatted the whole way (I was the only person-yes!). Overall, I would 100% recommend this shuttle service for shared or private rides. They were affordable, professional, and incredibly convenient. I do not have a single complaint. read more

It is really sad that you completely deny responsibility for this situation. We were not trying to take advantage of your business and get some special deal. We were not trying to get you to break your company charter rules. We called your company, spoke to your employee and made what we thought was a reservation for an 8 pm shuttle. We were told that we were being added to a private shuttle. We didn't ask for that special treatment, that was what your employee presented to us. We were not asked for a credit card or for payment. We confirmed, verbally, with your employee and assumed everything was all set because we were talking to YOUR STAFF. You have written your response like we were trying to get some special favor or deal from you. This entire situation happened because your company gave out false information. I did threaten to write a bad review because quite frankly, I was hoping that if ethics and your word wasn't motivation to honor your customer, then maybe bad reviews might be motivation. And all that Mark did to get us on a different shuttle was tell us another company was still running. We did not get onto another shuttle till 9:30 pm and that other shuttle company did not take us where we needed, so we had to get a cab in Santa Fe. So, sending us to a different company was not doing us some great favor, it was merely passing the responsibility to another company. There is absolutely nothing different that we could have done in this situation. The error 100% lies with your company and staff and the fact that you do not just apologize and acknowledge that you made a mistake is really sad and a reflection of your company, not me. read more

We had expected to be accommodated by your company because all of your staff wanted to help us and they all repeated that we'd be able to get onto the 8:00 PM private shuttle. Yes, Amanda is an exceptional employee and she was very helpful; however, she did not call us back to let us know that there was a 9:00 PM van that was arranged when she had said that she would call us back. I understand that she was being compassionate to our situation and I appreciate that. If she had called us back in time and explained to us that "a private is a private is a private" I would have 100% understood with foresight-given and would have booked the 9:00 PM public shuttle, and I would have paid and made a reservation for that if given the option. The fact is that there were many people in our situation last night at the Albuquerque airport and given that the 8:00 PM public reservation holder insisted that she wanted to extend the van to others in-need, it would have made sense for Roadrunner to help people like that. Especially given that last night Roadrunner DID offer a 9:00 PM public shuttle, despite the policy: "our shuttles run FROM ABQ between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM based on reservations; after 7:30 PM we ONLY provide private charter transportation service from ABQ at this time". Sandia Shuttle did help us and get us to our destination, but had to drop us at a hotel and arrange for a cab for us to the SF airport. And, they ended up being overbooked for their 8:45 PM shuttle, it took until 9:30 PM to figure out the situation, and several people had to wait behind for a 10:45 PM shuttle. So, in the end, it would have helped everyone if you had switched your 8:00 PM to a public for the benefit of multiple travelers that day. Fantastic experience overall. I used their yelp deal and although the rep on the phone was confused about it and gave me wrong info, after emailing them, i had a response from the owner of the company itself guiding me through how to use it. This was our 2nd experience using shuttles ever... my husband tends to not like them as he doesn't like crowds or waiting. As we landed, we got 2 calls from our driver making sure that we are there. As soon as we picked up our luggage, he was right there directing us to the shuttle (no wait at all) and finally we ended up being the only passengers for the ride from Albuquerque to santa fe. I wish I could give this ride service 0 stars. After coming in from a 5 hour flight I arrived to the airport to and followed the instructions in my work confirmation email (check in across from baggage claim 6 at the desk). When I went to the counter all of the ride services appeared closed for the evening. The small unnoticeable sign had times listed for rides. It was 8:15 so I realized I had missed the 8 shuttle and would have to wait until 8:45. At 8:38 I headed back outside unsure of where to wait since there was nothing that indicated what to do other then the driver would arrive 5 minutes before scheduled time. Again I saw no one at the counter and I preceded to wait outside in case the vehicle was waiting and would attempt to pull off. After 15 minutes of waiting and calling the hotel I asked a security office for advise who informed me there was a courtesy phone. When I went to the counter and called the number a man suddenly appeared saying he saw no one here and had been waiting. The liar then told me that he had to wait until the next scheduled time of 9 before departing. Don't use this company if you are tired or stranded at the airport. read more

Corresponded with this company a few weeks before a conference in Santa Fe. I found the representative to be generally disorganized and she even admitted missing one or more of my emails. (My fault for not trying another company at that time, but I do give people the benefit of doubt.) I assumed the reservation was all set because I sent detailed flight information. Upon arrival not only was there no one at their desk, but when I called their number I got a recording. This is no way to run a shuttle service. I had to (quickly) rent a car and make it to Santa Fe for a meeting. Do yourself a favor, select one of the companies who actually have someone sitting at their desk, answer their phone and are more on the ball. read more

I used Roadrunner to get from ABQ airport to Santa Fe and back. They were on time, and very efficient. By all means give them a try.

Roadrunner is the only shuttle between Santa Fe and Albuquerque that will actually take you door-to-door. Roadrunner will pick you up at ABQ based on when your flight arrives instead of according to some set schedule. Also, Roadrunner will drop you off at your desired hotel in Santa Fe. Sandia shuttle will only drop you off at designated hotels and then you have to take a cab to your real destination. Roadrunner has historically been somewhat more expensive, but when you consider that you have to pay for a cab in addition to the shuttle fee for Sandia, Roadrunner is probably cheaper and definitely more convenient. Sandia shuttle is owned by City Cab of Santa Fe so you can draw your own conclusions as to why you are forced to pay cab fare once you arrive in Santa Fe. read more
