The teachers have always been pleasant, helpful and more than loving towards both of my kids. If there is ever any issue with my kids, they call me or email me immediately. In my 4 years I have never noticed piles of trash ( I see these teachers walk them out everyday when I am there). Also, never noticed crumbs, as they are constantly using the push vacuums after each meal. My kids are beyond happy. My youngest, (1.5) was well cared for and beyond in the infant room. in the young toddler room, he loves all the teachers and aids and normally runs right to them smiling. My only improvements would be face wiping, which in my honest opinion, is never going to be perfect, especially in day cares. My boys do get sick, however, they are spending the day with 10-20 different kids, can you truly expect them not to get a cold if the other kid in class has a cold and they are playing? The center is well equipped with tons of toys, learning activities, music, dance, yoga, languages! They participate in all different styles of learning and it has made both my children excel. I would highly recommend LCA, they are more than accommodating, decently priced, and well caring of your kids when you can't be there!

The certification isn't worth anything because of the "pay and you get papers" reputation of the place. When I went we had people coming in without any of the work done, openly cheating during testing, eating their lunches in the classrooms. Even one teacher who spent most of the time talking about getting a boob job. I spent lots of money to be put in a class full of racist people that didn't care what happened to their Pell grant just to get sub par training that was mostly outdated or unneeded once I went out to the field. Within 6 months of landing my job I had to retake most of my classes at "a real training program" as my boss said. Looks like it's still the same thing years later.

He taught me a super helpful technique on parallel parking, that came handy not only during the exam, but for everyday street parking too. I wanted to take them to Disney in April but…read moreI needed to schedule the time share I was buying with in a few weeks so I called the school a few times and after the 3rd or 4th time somebody finally called me back and I didn't get nowhere with her so she said the principal would call me....she never did. Now it's past the time I had to schedule the vacation in April so now I have to goto Disney in the summer time when it's even more crowded and I don't get to escape this brutal Pennsylvania cold weather. While the principal wasn't calling me back I guess she was talking to my kids mother and she told her, according to the kids mother that the kids are only allowed to have 10 unexcused absences for 5 years. I never heard of such a thing, so the option of just taking them without the permission was out the window due to the scare fracture they put on the mother.
