It's basically a grilled cheese sandwich with the cheese on the outside. I've had many of them in France. My wife is French, and she makes a good one, too. Ours were close to inedible. Soggy, mushy messes made with the French equivalent of Wonder Bread. How can a French restaurant mess up something as basic as a Croque Monsieur?? You are better off going to the bakery across the street or the Italian restaurant next door. Avoid this place.

I didn't expect anything good and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and quick service. We ordered 2 croquettes (ham and tuna) as suggested by other reviewers and enjoyed them. Another small benefit of this particular restaurant was that they served coke with ice! This is super enjoyable on a hot day!
