    Pick-n-Pull

    Pick-n-Pull

I've been coming to this Pick N Pull location for 25-30 years and always appreciated the fair…read morepricing and self-service model. Unfortunately, since new management took over, the experience has gone downhill fast. The biggest issue is wildly inconsistent and inflated pricing at checkout. They have an official website where you can look up parts and prices before you even drive out there, yet multiple times I've been charged significantly more -- sometimes 2-3× the listed price, and occasionally more than a brand-new part would cost at a parts store. Example: I pulled a short, already-cut power-steering pressure hose (maybe 12 inches long) and was charged $18 for a "complete assembly" that retails new for around the same or less. I've had similar overcharges on door handles, small brackets, etc. When customers (myself included) politely point out the website price, the cashier becomes loud, argumentative, and dismissive -- blaming "Trump tariffs," "California prices," or whatever excuse fits the day. It turns a simple transaction into a confrontation, and eventually another employee has to step in and ring me up instead. This isn't a one-time thing; it's happened on my last four or five visits and I've overheard the same complaints from other customers in line. Spending hours in the heat pulling your own parts only to get hit with new-part pricing and attitude at the register defeats the entire purpose of a pick-your-part yard. The $2 entry fee increase is fine, but charging brand-new prices for used, dirty, self-pulled parts -- while arguing with every customer who questions it -- feels dishonest. Very disappointed in the direction this location has taken. I'll be driving the extra distance to other yards until this gets fixed.

Not only do they scam people into buying a "set of rims" that they have set out. Then when you…read morerealize that a total different rim is on the bottom they convince you that a total different set that's not even meant for your vehicle will fit, and if they don't come back in the morning for a refund. As soon as you real they wont fit they wont offer a refund but instead BAN you from the store. That is the most unprofessional way of doing business ever. That is the owners words too. If you didn't want to do business that way please talk to your managers because that's what he said. I hope y'all lose business.

It's a long story but I'll try to keep it short. Early Nov 2014 I wanted to buy a Maxima and…read morestarted to interact with Heidi. She seemed nice and helpful. I did explain to her that I travel a lot for work and was on a tight time line. We set an appointment for a week later at which time I explained to her that I expect her to keep the appointment and not change it or change sales reps since we had spoken extensively about the purchase and I felt comfortable. I arrived for our appointment and she promptly handed me off to another sales person name Jerry. Jerry kept his hands in his pockets and had zero personality. Needless to say I didn't buy the car and instead bought a Lexus. I provided Heidi an email with feedback about what went wrong. It appeared that she took it as a learning opportunity. Six weeks later I wanted to buy my high school kid a Sentra for Christmas. North Point had the best deal and since Heidi took my feedback in stride I decided to give her a 2nd chance. We arrived to look at the cars and asked for Heidi. Again she pawned us off to another sales person but I didn't mind so much because we didn't have an appointment and she did have another customer who did have an appointment (the irony). She handed us off to David who was actually really cool and nice. We worked out a deal with David and decided to lease the car since it was a short term car and we wanted to keep cost down. We could tell an immediate shift in attitude when we decided to lease vs. purchase and not a good shift and it wasn't David rather it was the financing managers. The nightmare in financing! The story as to when we would sign and who would wrap up the deal kept changing every 10 minutes. Kevinl, I think that's his name, had no clue what he was doing and had to complete the paperwork several times. After nearly 3 hours at the dealership they got the paperwork right or so we thought. Side note - they call themselves the home of the 90 minute deal. We pay our deposit sign the papers and leave thinking all was done. Dave even calls a few days later to make sure all was well with the car. Oh and Dave did do a good job going over the car. Around the week of Christmas I start getting missed calls on my work phone, home phone, my wife and even sons phone from North Point Nissan but no message. David finally calls my wife's phone and leaves a voice mail asking us to call as the paperwork was wrong and needed to be completed again. I also finally get a voice mail on my home phone from Kevin in finance. I call back and spoke to Donnie the manager and explained that I lived an hour away and to mail it the paperwork. He said he would call me back and leave a message that it should not be a issue to Fedex the paperwork. He called back but hung up on the voice mail even after I said I would be busy to leave a detailed message when he called back. I called them back and went in to sign the papers again the next day. At this point I am beyond angry at the lack of customer service, lack of following directions and the overall poor attitude by the dealership expecting me to drop everything and bow to their needs and rush back to them and spend several more hours rehashing the entire process. The attitude was like we stole the car or something. David did offer to gas our car but nobody bothered to follow-up on it but it was no big deal since I was using a company car. The point is they again said something but didn't follow through on it. We go back to complete the forms again. We are greeted by Frank the finance manager who was just a donkey. I told him I was not happy and his whole attitude was that HE was being inconvenienced and didn't understand what I was upset about. Given his attitude I too became a jerk and treated him accordingly. He then told us that we never paid a deposit and they wanted the money again. Uh NO I have the receipt from my debit card transaction! Next he said well the monthly payment changed. I asked why and he became sarcastic. Monthly payment actually went down by 7 cents so it was no big deal but none the less he didn't say it until I asked and wanted it explained. Then he had the nerve to say "would it have been a big deal if it went up by 7 cents?" I said yes because we had an agreement and it was a matter of principle. His answer was well we would just back out of the sale! Over all the finance manager Frank is a major donkeys rear. The above is a lot of info and there are some more tidbits but I don't want to gone on. Bottom line is don't buy here and I will be giving them a terrible survey with Nissan.
