After being comfronted of using nonconforming materials they continued to assured that it was the materials specified in contract until we filled a claim with the bond company. Then they admitted to using non conforming materials. After the roofing work was performed, my home developed a leak that had not existed before the project, resulting in damage to the interior of my home. What should have been a straightforward roofing project turned into an ongoing dispute. Despite the leak and resulting interior damage, the company has refused to accept responsibility for the interior damages or pay for the repairs caused by the leaking roof. Since raising these concerns, it has been a nightmare trying to get the company to correct the work. Rather than providing the documentation I requested to verify that qualified personnel would perform a contract-compliant repair, I have received repeated generic responses that fail to address my concerns or provide the information needed to move forward. As a homeowner, I expected the work to be completed according to the contract and for any problems to be addressed promptly and professionally. Instead, I have been forced to spend months pursuing a resolution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If you hire them, verify that the materials being installed match your contract, document every stage of the project, and get everything in writing.

Mid-Project Review - AGA Construction…read more We're officially about halfway through our kitchen and dining room renovation with AGA Construction, and we've been extremely happy with the experience and progress so far! This was a pretty extensive renovation that required taking the kitchen and dining area down to the bones. From the start, the AGA Construction team handled the demolition quickly and efficiently, and once everything was opened up, they immediately got to work on the important things you don't necessarily see in the finished product. In just about two weeks, they've tackled the major electrical and plumbing work, brought necessary items up to code, installed new recessed lighting, completed drywall, and have already started/completed the new flooring. It's pretty incredible looking back at the photos of the original kitchen, then seeing the walls and ceiling completely opened up, and now seeing an entirely new space beginning to take shape. A huge part of making the process go so smoothly has been our project manager, Micky. He has been great about guiding us through everything step by step, explaining what the team is working on, answering our questions, keeping us informed about what comes next, and helping us navigate all of the decisions that come with a renovation of this size. Having that communication has made a potentially stressful process feel much more manageable. We're only midway through the project, but it already feels like we've gotten through the hardest and least glamorous part--the demolition and all of the electrical, plumbing, code, drywall and infrastructure work behind the walls. Now we're getting to the exciting part where we can actually watch our new kitchen and dining room come together! So far, we've been very impressed with AGA Construction, Micky, and the entire crew for how quickly and efficiently they've kept everything moving while still keeping us informed throughout the process. Fabiola and Cesar answers all our questions and suggested what would work and what wouldn't and approximately how long it would take. We've told them our previous experience where the time took so much longer for whet was actually done. They said our renovation would be done it approx 6 weeks. Our previous renovation that was completed took 6 months and it was much smaller than the task we presented to Conber ! So you better believe we wanted to hire Fabiola and Cesar's company . They got back to us with the quote very quick and then we went from there. Fast forward to start of demolition.. The staff that Conber had working were so good! The timeliness, organization, and cleanliness of the job were on point! They said they'll be there at a certain time, they were there way before said time. They kept the demo mess where it belonged and it didn't find its way into places it didn't need to be. The next step after the demolition was no different. They continued to be organized and efficient and always showed up in a timely fashion. We appreciated the fact that we knew what time to expect them and what time their end of day was. And it was always consistent unless we were notified. Which is a huge plus to me. Another game changer was the fact that either Fabiola or Cesar would show up in the morning and at end of the working day to check on progress. That showed me that the project was just as important to them as it was to us. They also were just a phone call or text away so reaching them was never an issue.
