I love the ambience of the room: super comfy cushions and pillows, a beautiful lamp that emits light patterns over the walls, and just a great smelling room. I told my chiropractor, regular massage therapist, and family doctor what happened, and they were just absolutely baffled why a therapist would do that to a post concussion syndrome client and confirmed that this has what led to a major setback for me. I informed the office of what happened but no response. I'm sure this place is OK for relaxation massages but don't make the same mistake I did and come here for more serious muscular and nerve issues.

Located on the 5th floor, the studio/space is accessible by either stairs or elevator and occupies 2 separate units (500 and 501) - one unit for wellness services and the other for classes. This review will only touch on the studio fitness classes. I was gifted an intro 2 class pack to Wellbynd by a friend of mine recently and was curious to try the classes here. Booking classes on their online platform was simple and easy where the website is easy to navigate. I opted to try the "Beyond Sculpt Pilates" class with Zoe. All levels are welcome and mats and props are provided by the studio. Each class has a maximum capacity of around 20 people. There is a late cancellation fee if you cancel less than 8hrs before the class time. If you no show for the class you are also automatically charged $15 as well. I believe the studio is also on Classpass as well. Day of class I showed up about 20 min early (maybe a bit too early but it was my first time there!). I wasn't sure how I was supposed to check in but I did find staff and they showed me where to put my bag/coat and how I can self check-in using the ipad that is located on the wall. You do take off your shoes outside the studio room before entering the studio. There is a small room with cubbies and a coat rack to hang your stuff (no lockers though) to the side. There is also a water station as well. No towels are provided so bring your own if you sweat a lot. Mats are also not assigned so you can pick any mat once you get there. The washroom is shared washroom with other businesses on the same floor so you need a key to open the washroom. The studio space is beautifully designed and has a relaxing ambiance. Class started on time as the instructor guided us through a 50 min low impact pilates workout class using props. She also provided modifications or harder variations of exercises if you wish to do them. My class wasn't full and had about 14-15 people. The class wasn't too challenging for me but it helped that the instructor showed the class harder variations of different exercises. After class ended we were instructed to clean our mats and props using the cleaning spray bottles set to the side of the room. Overall, a beautiful space, clear instruction and a low impact workout! A welcoming environment where it is easy to foster community due to the small class sizes. Will return to try another class at Well Bynd in the future!
