I paid twice as much for the poly material, in order to have dime sized holes to minimize detection. It has been a 3-month long nightmare. None of the work was consistent with the quality advertised on their website. Specifically: * Many of the drilled holes were more than 2" in diameter. The fill used was a shiny epoxy, instead of concrete/mortar. Dark stains were left near many of the holes, leaving a permanently marred surface. There are still uneven surfaces along the sidewalk. * The expansion joints were done with two different materials, are not level, have "blobs" at the end points, come up over the concrete in some areas, have leaves and debris embedded, have ridges where the material ran, and are already bubbling. * These issues were reported from day one to the sales rep, Steven, and through written correspondence to the President, Daniel Chriss (including before and after pictures). There was no response, and no one came out to inspect the work. I finally got Steven and Frank (who did the expansion joints) in June to return to inspect the work. After inspection, Frank told me that I WAS THE PROBLEM (see photos). Having not been able to resolve the issues (i.e. stain removal, drill hole redo, fix expansion joints), I was instructed to call the owner, Joe Kenney. When I called, Joe answered the phone, and before I could say anything, HE LAID INTO ME. He gave excuses, said that based on my photos this was some of their best work, and would not let me speak. Joe was condescending and derogatory and stated he was going to "put a stop to this right now"! Joe made it clear he was not going to remedy the situation or offer compensation. In fact, Joe told me to just go and get someone else. I've never encountered such a rude response, especially from a co-owner of a "family" business. I've included only a few example photos.

Sergio was very busy but was able to come out on a Sunday to look at the project and then sent a bid through email. I found his price to be very competitive and he understood the work we needed done. He and his crew came out and did the project in 1 day. It was a small project so it was done in 1 day, we paid at the end of the day after the project was done. They hauled and disposed of the old concrete matter. The crew was well mannered. They cleaned up the area well when they finished the project. We were happy with the work and we do recommend him.

Sergio came our, quoted the job and told us about his business and after comparing the quotes we realized that Sergios was very competitive. So we hired him and his team. They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. Sergio was very communicative. He understood what we wanted. His crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up after themselves. After they completed the job, Sergio hauled away the old concrete that they had to tear out. I will definitely refer him to anybody that I know. And we will use him again in the future.

I have nothing but good things to say about working with Alex and Noah from SafeLift Concrete…read moreLeveling. I noticed a section of my driveway sank lower than the rest. After a month, the difference became almost 4 inches, which was a tripping hazard and didn't allow my kids to play in the driveway. I was referred to Alex and SafeLift and scheduled an appointment to discuss how to resolve the difference. Alex came on time and assessed what the issue was. He discovered multiple large voids underneath my driveway due to the brutal Texas heat and how my yard drained. He showed me the voids and demonstrated where other ones were that we could not see by using a rubber mallet. Initially, Alex did not want to take on the job. He explained he had no issue filling the void; however, some of the concrete on the sunken slap had started to show cracks, and he was afraid injecting foam underneath it might worsen the new cracks. I asked what the alternative was, and he said stabilizing the part that wasn't sunk and pouring a new slab to replace the sunken part would solve it 100%. I spoke with him some more, and I could tell he really knew what he was doing, and I understood why he hesitated to say yes immediately. Alex didn't want to tell me it would be perfect and not meet my expectations. I respect that level of honesty. When I asked him if we could try it out and see, he became more comfortable with the idea. He took time to explain all the things that may happen, and in the end, I felt the risk was worth the experiment. That evening, he later sent me a quote that was much, much lower than re-pouring that part of the driveway. I accepted the quote and scheduled a time for his team to work on our driveway. A week later, Alex, Noah, and another gentleman arrived on time. It was amazing to watch them work. They operated with a high level of care for my driveway and for each other. In the end, amazingly, my driveway returned to being flush again. None of the possible drawbacks occurred, and everything looked just like I had hoped. They cleaned up all of the loose foam, and when they finished, it looked like no one was ever there, and my driveway was completely flush again. Alex and Noah said that if I see any voids or parts sink for the next two years, call them up, and they will repeat the process. That is a much longer guarantee than I expected. I would refer anyone to SafeLift Concrete Leveling. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly professional and knowledgeable in what they do. I can tell they take their job seriously and operate with the utmost care. I especially appreciated the honesty and transparency Alex showed me. He could have simply said no, and I would have had to deal with a bigger problem. He managed expectations with me, and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I am very thankful that I do not need to have part or all of a new driveway poured. I would use SafeLift COncrete Levelining again without hesitation, and I recommend them to anyone needing concrete work by intelligent people who know what they are doing.

I requested the owner, Alex Lopez, to come and look at it several times. He never came back. He did send an employee who told me not to worry about the cracks or the mottling. He tried to say the mottling was from my sprinklers; however, it was March and I hadn't turned the system on yet. Then he tried to say it was leaves that caused the mottling, however, I watered the driveway as instructed, so there weren't any leaves on it during the cure time and I didn't park on it for 10 days. I filed a claim in small claims court in October 2025. Meanwhile I hired a cement forensic company to analyze and test the integrity of the cement poured. His testing showed that instead of the minimum 4" thickness, some areas were only 3-1/4" thick. There were many other defects listed in his report. I also found out he didn't get a pre-pour inspection from the city, but went ahead with the pour. On March 2, 2026, we went to court. My mistake was not taking the representative from the forensic company with me. The judge wouldn't even look at the report. Thats on me. I lost the case. i am an elderly widow. This was my first project alone. I put my trust in this young man to be honest and pour a quality driveway. Again, that's on me for being naive. I would not recommend Safe-Lift to pour a driveway for anyone. It has been a heartbreaking nightmare me.

I made sure he understood and saw in-person what was needed and asked him if he still wanted to proceed before work started. Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. He failed to begin the work on time, and when he eventually did, he arrived without the necessary materials. Eric had assured me that he would personally oversee the job and work with his crew; however, there was no crew. Instead, he sent his elderly parents, who worked for only a couple of days before they all left for Mexico without any notice. Throughout the process, Eric consistently failed to show up at the times he committed to. What was originally estimated to be a 4-5 day project ended up dragging on for over a month. During that time, I had to contact Eric repeatedly--at least five to six times--to remind him that the work was still incomplete. Despite the lack of progress, he persistently pressured me for payment. Eventually, out of sheer frustration, I paid him in full, even though the job had not been completed. To make matters worse, the work site was left in a mess. My yard was cluttered with debris, and there was no proper cleanup effort. The entire job was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner and fell far short of basic expectations for quality and accountability. Mumtaz Jesani
