If I could leave less than a star I would. We have used Terry's irrigation services since we moved…read moreinto our home back in 2019. For the most part the owner Terry was pretty reliable and easy to work with so we continued to use his services. Over the years there have been some minor delays and problems with scheduling. I would call and set up my annual apt. w/ Terry and there were multiple occasions where there was a no call, no show or I had to call him to see if he was still planning on coming out on a date where an apt. had been scheduled. He would make an effort of trying to get there that same day we had the apt. or he would typically come out the following day. Despite these minor issues with scheduling we decided to keep using Terry. However, this last year was something that could not be overlooked and anyone who is considering using Terry, I would strongly urge you not to. If you look through the reviews, I am not the only one that this has happened to. So, last April I called Terry as I typically do to have our irrigation system all set up for the year. I paid him in full for the initial turning on of our sprinkler system, sending in the backflow report and that payment would also take care of winterization services in the fall. Multiple service call times were agreed upon, and Terry told me he would be out in my area (this was in October of last year-2024) where he would stop by to turn our water off. He stopped by, had a conversation with my husband and told my husband everything was taken care of and that he would see us in the spring. So we thought we were good to go. Then in December of last year, we had a neighbor reach out when we weren't home saying we had water shooting out of the side of our house, our neighbor said he thought it was our backflow device. So we called Terry right away and explained the situation. He advised my husband on how to turn the water off over the phone. Terry then came out the following day to flush out the line and told my husband we were all good to go again and that he would see us in spring of next year. Now, keep in mind this was his second time out to our home, and on both occasions he told us we were completely taken care of and good to go. So I called Terry last week to set up our annual apt. We had an apt. time set up for today 4/29/2025 where he said he should be at my home sometime that morning to get me all set up for the year. At 11AM apt. day, I still had not heard from him and was needing to leave my house. So I called him and asked if we were still on for our apt. today. He said yes, he thinks he should still make it out to my house today. He then proceeded to tell me that my backflow device was broken, and that I needed to get that repaired before he can really do anything. I said, "Terry what are you talking about, this is the first I am hearing about anything like this?" Then he tried to tell me that I didn't contact him last year to get the water turned off in time and that our pipe burst. I explained to him that he came out in the fall, then had to come back out in December because he didn't do what he should have in the first place back in October which resulted in our backflow device bursting when the pipes froze. I even went into detail about the conversation my husband had with him on both of those occasions when he came out. Never once on either of those occasions did he indicate or let us know that we had an issue with our backflow device. He basically told me that I was lying and he hadn't seen or talked to my husband at all last year. I proceeded to tell him, yes my husband let you into our home because I was still at work. You and my husband talked for a while and then you told him everything was good to go and that we would see him back next spring. Terry continued to deny any interaction with my husband and basically told us he is not responsible for the damage to our backflow device and offered no resolution to the problem. He told us we would have to pay a company to come out and have it replaced. I had a company come out who quoted us $1400 to replace the backflow device. This is absolutely ridiculous! We have been loyal customers for many years and this is how we were treated. To say I am beyond frustrated at this point is a huge understatement. This is a completely crooked company and business owner. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism I experienced in that phone call earlier today. He was completely disrespectful, dismissive and unapologetic about an issue he created. We will NEVER use his services again and I plead with anyone else reading this to save yourself the trouble and future hassle of being out $1000-1700 by him doing this to you too. He is completely disorganized and clearly has no idea who he has talked to, who's home he has serviced, and 50% of the time will no call no show on you. It's terrible to be treated in this manner after years of doing business with someone. Use someone else with integrity!

He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough--he offered more insight than anyone else I spoke with. His professionalism alone made choosing Cardinal an easy decision. When installation day arrived, I received helpful notifications letting me know exactly when the team would show up. Zach White and Logan Mossman arrived right on time, and both of them were so polite and thoughtful. They slipped on boot covers the moment they walked in and took the time to really listen to what I wanted. I asked that the HALO ION-6 be installed on the main line so the whole house would benefit, and they understood immediately why that mattered. They also worked with me on how the gas line should be routed, and they handled every detail exactly as I requested. Their workmanship was truly impressive--clean, tidy, and so well-organized. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Even better, they kept the mood light and fun, singing along to "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" while they worked, which made the whole experience feel surprisingly enjoyable. Everything was done professionally, beautifully, and with genuine care. I'd give Cardinal Plumbing a 5/5 without hesitation, and I'll absolutely be using them again. Highly recommended!

He told my husband it would be $360 to remove the toilet to see what was wrong. My husband specifically asked ok so if you remove the toilet do nothing and put it back it will be $360. Thomas said yes. He said if he had to replace the flange it would be a little over $900. My husband asked him to leave. The "service" call included no service. He only took 2 pictures and did nothing else. The service call was $70. So we basically paid for him to ring the door bell and take pictures. No diagnostics done. I called the company and the manager called me and said he wanted a mutual resolution. He offered nothing but an explanation of how much his truck cost and his overhead which is why we had to pay the "service" fee even though they did absolutely nothing but take pictures. He must have "explained" his overhead to me 5 times and thought what his plumber did was acceptable. Called a different plumber. He came out and fixed the problem in 30 minutes for $175 all included. Under no circumstances would I use this company. They are not honest and definitely over charge. BEWARE
