Wow! We recently bought a home in WGV in St. John's County and RMG was outstanding. At all times, their team was professional and very responsive. One team member knew what progress the other member was making and we were never given the "run around". RMG advised us what was needed, the time frame needed for those "check offs" to take place etc. Two small examples: request for a home appraisal and the time it takes; and a last minute request for a power of attorney so that the closing could take place during our "tight window" of time. Do not go with this company! My insurance company sent them my valid insurance on the home I just purchased, but they stated they wanted to see a current date on the insurance. My insurance company said they could not give me that document with a current date on it. SO RMG WENT INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT AND TOOK $250 OUT OF IT, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION AS A FINE. They fined me, for something I had, that was verified by my insurance broker. THIS COMPANY IS ONLY AFTER THE BOTTOM LINE AND WILL NOT WORK WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS, AT ALL!!!! read more

I selected this business based on good internet reviews. After spending 10 hours gathering documents and emailing 91 files to Rod at RMG mortgage I was immediately declined. I was declined because of my debt to income ratio. The ratio was 75%. After further research I found that they refused to use my income from 7 rental properties. Normal underwriting standards will use 75% of gross rental income. Had Rod told me upfront they would not use this income then I would have never consented to a hard pull on my credit report thus reducing my score 5 points. Had the rental income been used it would have reduced my debt to income ratio to 43 percent. I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism presented by this organization and Rod. Rod is obviously a person without a conscience and with little concern for your credit score. A little due diligence on the part of this organization would have prevented this review and left my score unaffected. read more
