I wanted a WWI Mauser barrel shortened to produce a more modern Scout rifle with a muzzle break. But after considering the rifle's setup and their lath requirements, we decided that I would be better off using another Mauser for my goal. Their shop looks like a place I would love to go thru and see what treasurers are hiding there. At first glance, it looks sort of discombobulatedly organized.. But after glancing around, I can see the method to their organization. In fact, I was looking for an old set of scope rings for an old .22 rifle sold back then by Sears (they don't sell guns anymore). Jim went thru his stash and found one that would work after looking at a half dozen or more. He also told me how to repair a slight split in the stock. Lots of good advice along with the old set of scope rings. Elite also works on other guns besides bolt actions. Also has a stash of old knives and I don't know what else. I will use them again if I have need for their expertise. Nice guys and knowledgable.

I've had other customers talk to me about a project I've had to drop off at the gunsmith, I've had great chats with all of the guys behind the counter, and the professionalism and respect that they've shown me every time I come by is why I will continue to bring them my business any chance I can.
