Each time the tech left the problems became worse. We had to cancel trips because we couldn't trust the existing system to work correctly. A friend finally recommended Vanguard Security Group, they came out and installed a complete new system. Our system was very elaborate, so they spent over three days working on our home; making sure everything was working correctly. The men who worked in our home were polite and very professional. We couldn't be more please with the final result and we definitely recommend Vanguard Security Group. They used quality equipment and we still saved money, they offer great value and lots of experience.

I never received a reply to my dispute. So, again per the contract, I should not have to pay a termination charge. In calling ADT to cancel, I was told that there was a cancellation fee of just over $1400 dollars. By my calculations of time left on the contract and the monthly payment, I have $1332 left on the contract. In addition, the contract states that I only have to pay 75% of that amount or $999. After being on the phone for hours this morning I finally got to a person who knew something. ( Their customer service phone number sends you to India first) I don't know what the resolution will be but was told that the buy out would be less than was originally stated. Long story short, don't go with ADT! They don't honor their contract and will give you a several hour run around when you dispute their conclusions.
