I went to Napleton Volkswagen of Sanford originally looking for a 2026 GTI, but I decided to go…read morefull throttle and explore my options with a Golf R as well. From the very beginning, Simon went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Simon was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful while walking me through my options and working through the numbers on both vehicles. He never pressured me into making a decision. Instead, he listened carefully, respected the boundaries I set for my purchase, and genuinely took the time to understand what I was looking for. He even told me he could see how passionate I am about the Volkswagen brand, and he shared some of his own experiences with me. Those conversations made the entire process feel much more personal and enjoyable rather than like a typical car-buying experience. Ultimately, I decided to stick with my original interest and pursue the 2026 GTI--and I couldn't be happier with how the entire transaction went. It was truly a flawless experience from beginning to end. I also want to give credit to the entire team. The sales staff, management, and even the detail service gentleman were all friendly, kind, and informative. Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and respected. If you're looking for a Volkswagen or even just want honest information while exploring your options, I highly recommend Napleton Volkswagen of Sanford. If you're a serious buyer, you will be in great hands--especially with Simon. Thank you for making such an exciting purchase even better!

I may change this review if I hear back from VW on this issue…read more.. After months of looking for a specific trim/optioned VW Atlas, we found one here. Though we felt we were being rushed, didn't want to miss out on another Atlas. After a few hours of negotiating, and one of the GM's coming in to make the deal somewhat in our favor, we purchased the car. With that, we were given a Carfax showing maintenance being done several times at this dealer. So it wasn't neglected for the most part. I've done most maintenance requirements on all my vehicles with no issues, especially as simple as an oil/filter change. And being this vehicle is out of warranty and no oil change plan, I would do the work myself. Upon taking the lower engine shield off, I saw oil on it, along with oil all around the drain plug and oil pan. Well I went ahead and began to drain the oil, noticing how difficult it was getting the drain plug off, and I had a feeling it was cross threaded of some sort. Upon full removal, it's obvious the last tech over tightened the drain plug, causing a lot of the threads to break loose and come off, resulting in oil leaking. These cars (Atlas) come with an aluminum oil pan, a soft metal, and easy to strip if not careful. The drain plug for the oil filter cover is also stripped, but the overall cover is easily removable thankfully. I've reached out to this dealer, the service dept has not reached back out, nor has their GM. The vehicle was serviced there in May, put on the lot for sale, which we bought in late May. It's unfortunate that the tech who did the work was negligent, causing damage that now needs repaired. I'm attempting a temp fix as I will have to order a new oil pan to fix the leak properly. Metal shavings are circled in red in the photos, those are the threads from the oil pan that were stripped off by the dealer's service dept.

The down payment wasn't too much ($1200) and my monthly payments are very affordable. To top it off, the car will be paid off in just 2 years. No hassle. No pressure. Straight forward. Easy. Usually the paperwork takes a long time at a dealers, but here it was super fast. Sat down, gave license, added car to insurance and provided proof then signed and out the door with the keys. It was seriously less than an hour! They know what they are doing and get it done fast. I drove old car home and they even followed with the new one so no second trips. Definitely did not have to do that and it was greatly appreciated. They offer many different financing options. I chose their in house financing. No issues or problems with any of that. Definitely the best buy here, pay here place I've went too and there was a few while car shopping. Kenner is AMAZING! You'll want to work with him! I would recommend them to anyone and if I'm ever looking for another car, they will be the first place I go to!

Carlos…read moreoverall is predatory and doesnt know how to do his job and instead made me feel like we were at a bar and I was forced into a conversation about my love life. Thats when he got his first no. Heavy breathing and couldnt take no for an answer. Im young and know my own budget, when Carlos said he was helping me, I could smell that salesman breath. Taking a car for a small ride shouldnt mean being bombarded, lied to and overall manipulated into a car I did not ask for. My 2018 was getting serviced and then the salesmen over serviced me. After a ride we got numbers and then Carlos received a second no with me happily walking away. He stops me and asks to wait to talk to somebody whos going to, "help." Woof. My car was being serviced so Carlos had me by myself and brought along the sales manager Renaldo, because Renaldo had to find out why I was walking away. Renaldo had to SAVE Carlos from losing the sale and when he came to talk to me, lied and insisted that paying off my car would only harm my credit. Closing lines of credit is bad for you. Lie after lie. Carlos got a total of 3 nos, with the final being with his sales manager who "had to come in to talk to me." Pushy. I shook the sales managers hand, said no thanks and thank you for the hard work (all of their numbers were no where I asked them to be) and finally left the chaos. Or so I thought. Renaldo got that one no and still ran to Toyota financing behind my back to find a "better number." A lack of respect and pushing of boundaries, I was lied to again saying the number I saw also covered gap and maintenance. The repeated lies that I was harming myself and their predator tactics worked. I was exhausted, alone and after saying no three times, they insisted I was in the wrong. Well I was in the wrong, for ever listening to them. Congratulations to Carlos and Renaldo who go their first sale of the month of May 2026, off a 24 y/o college student who said no 3 times and about a year and a half away from paying off their first car. Adding double the payoff price of my previous car on top of the sticker price adding 7 more years of hell to pay off. I left feeling heavier after the finance manager told me the number offered had no gap or maintenance. I had to add that in myself after falling into the bears trap. All their overbearing nonsense finally made no sense to me. They "happily" bought my car with only 7k left without happily telling me that it would cost me 14k on top of the sticker price!!! Vicious intent and lied the whole way through. "They would do the same for their daughters," boy their daughters must be unlucky cause I sure was. At the end Carlos offered to take a photo... with his phone and then insisted to keep it without sending it to me. Weird. I had to ask him to take a photo with my phone, I really dont understand why he needed that photo of me. Oh back to the beginning, his first no was due to his heavy breathing flirting. He could add the photo on this review because Im sure he still has it, I fixed my budget but boy they through a wrench in my life. Working a second job to pay off the car under 5 years cause I still have goals that Carlos and Renaldo wanted to harm! These guys have no interest in helping anybody other than themselves.

This review deals with the service department and a hand shake agreement with Oliver (finance/final…read morepaperwork person) for a parts discount on accessories when we bought the F-150 a week or so back. The discount was as promised, loaner vehicle was ready, a small scratch was touched up, wheels rebalance, truck detailed (got into a swarm of love bugs driving there). Did have a problem that the truck was not ready on the same day as the appointment, which means had to drive 100 miles home and back the next day. So why the 5 star and not 2-3 star right? The reason was Jamie (internet sales manager, who sold use the truck), Oliver, Service Manager, service tech, body shop painter, detailer, parts person all who helped find out why and had the truck ready the next day,and one last thing over a $500.00 discount off the final bill that was already discounted with the hand shake agreement and a full tank of gas for time and aggravation of having to come back. Yes the truck was a day late but my wife and I feel that we were made "whole" for are time and trouble and that I can't ding the dealership for doing that. Jamie and Oliver really worked as a team and even the sale manager who seat with my wife outside for 15 minutes talking to her and explaining everything that was done and made sure she was happy. Jamie and Oliver both stayed with me until everything was done with the service cashier to make sure the extra discount was right. When I got into the truck asked my wife "Well?" Her answer was the same as mine, can't really complain they did the right thing, found out why, gave a discount for time and trouble and made sure everything was right. When I found out the truck would not be ready I asked one question "What are you going to do?" From the whole dealership I would say the answer was "Do the right thing to correct and make sure we were happy". How can I ding them for that, I can't in good faith. This was my experience, and as long as people like Jamie, Devin, Oliver and others work there they have my business.

I was given a quote and told the appointment would take between one and two hours. When I arrived on Monday morning and went into the service advisor area nobody acknowledged me. Several employees were working on their computers, but no one looked up. After a few moments, a male employee asked if someone could please take care of me. One female employee said, "Not me, I already have 3." It was awkward and uncomfortable. Finally, someone assisted me. He told me that my advisor, Barry, was helping someone else but he could check me in. I specifically told this person that I only wanted the rear brake pads replaced. I told him that there are several lights in the car on, but I didn't want any diagnostics done and that I just needed the brake pads replaced so I could get on my way. I told him I would be waiting nearby at a coffee place. At 10:06am, I received a text with a bunch of inspection pictures of everything but the brakes. I responded to the text stating that I didn't want the car inspected, I just wanted the rear brake pads replaced. I received more videos at 10:30am of oil, filters, etc but again no brakes. I again stated that I have to get to work and I am only interested in brakes. At 10:45 Barry responded that will inspect the brakes soon. I again, told Barry that I need to get to work. At this point my car had been in the shop being inspected for over an hour when all I wanted was my brake pads replaced. Finally at 11:38am over 2 hours after bringing my car in to have the brake pads replaced, I was told my car needs rear brake pads. At this point, I was outraged and got my car and left. I took 1/2 day off from work and wasted gas driving to Sanford for Autonation to tell me that I needed rear brake pads when I called them to make an appointment to have them done. Never again!

I negotiated with the insurance company for the best settlement I could get for the totaled car, but even then, we weren't working with a lot, and we needed a reliable car that could get my wife and daughter to work and school. We'd seen a few of Sensible's listings online, and they definitely seemed like the best bang for our buck, so we checked them out in person. We went by on a Saturday, and the guy who worked there was great. He explained the way they work, and he showed us all over the lot and showed us cars based on what we were looking for. It was a very chill / low pressure situation. I was very pleased with him. We then checked a few other lots, only to find that they were all charging ALOT more for vehicles that were pretty comparable with the ones we saw at Sensible, so in the end we decided to go with Sensible once the settlement check came in. There was a small issue with the car we bought, but they got us right back in to their mechanic, and they had it fixed within a couple of hours. We really appreciate that, especially since they didn't have to, since the car we bought was "no warranty". The fact that they wanted to help make sure the car was running great for my wife and daughter, shows me that they are quality people, and I am very thankful that we found this place. The staff was all super cool, and the process was super easy. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who was looking for a car!

After about five hours of not hearing anything, My husband called and left a voice message to which she returned within about 30 minutes. Through his genuine inquiry, he was met with attitude - being told "these things can take a few hours" but yet she had answers for him. He was genuinely inquiring, there was no rudeness in his tone, but he was met with rude. I called back for a little more clarification. I was met with rude as well. We came back later that evening in person and spoke with another blonde, older woman advisor. As I asked, genuine questions, I was met with snark and attitude. While trying to figure out what we were going to do with the vehicle, we ended up speaking with Javier on the sales floor. He was Very nice and we had set up an appointment to meet with him today. However, when speaking with him the next day and asking about a trade-in value, he showed the service sheet that showed almost $7000 more in repair than what I was handed the day before. I was very curious as to why I was handed a service cost sheet the day before, but yet they were not completely done with it. Nobody told us that it was not done and not ready to go. I was told the $7000 and change what I would owe and then it suddenly went up to over 13,000. I understand that the issue with my Subaru was a very large issue and would take a lot of work. However, I do not feel that they were transparent at all, and at the end of the day Kendall never followed up with me again. Yes, I received a video from the Service man Ricky, but Kendall never asked me when I went to pay if I did receive the video she just marked it off on the little sticker they put on there. When I went to pay for the diagnostic, she was very cold and there was no level of customer service. Due to this interaction, I am not returning here to buy a vehicle and wouldn't suggest anyone does. I cannot fathom purchasing a brand new vehicle and then coming back here and being worried that I'm going to be met with attitude from the Service advisors every time that I come in
