Located inside Beach Life Fitness, Pilates studio, across the studio and up the stairs. Both masseuses were great for my friend and I. It was relaxing and worked out the knots but the noisiness of the Pilates studio downstairs may bother some people. My boyfriend gifted me a massage with Laura on my birthday and I'm so happy he did. She was very welcoming and the studio is calm and relaxing. Highly recommend! read more

I visited Laura to get a sports massage a few days before the 2019 LA Marathon. She worked out all the built up lactic acid I accumulated throughout my training. A second perk, is that she now also has access to a cold pool. 10 minutes at 43 degrees felt so good. It is now two days before the marathon and my body feels great and I am ready to run! read more

I had a massage with Laura which was ok. My lower back is still in so much pain. I have had many massages and I have to say this one was the worst. We sat with her and her boyfriend for a bit. I was very taken back when he asked me to give Laura a tip. In all of my years , I have never had anyone ask me to give someone a tip. Not to mention, that owners of companies never ask for a tip. My husband has owned his own business for over 40 years. As an owner you give a price. Tips are for the most part for people who work at a place because they usually do not keep 100% of the amount for the service. It was very tacky of him to ask me to tip his fiance owner of the place. It left a very bad taste in mouth. Very unprofessional. read more

Mike was amazing! I will be back for sure! And i'll need longer than an hour! Perfect amount of pressure, felt amazing leaving!

Laura has magic hands! I got the deep tissue massage with CBD oil and felt like I was walking on clouds when my massage was over. This year has caused so much stress and anxiety, and my muscles were angry at me. It's a good thing I found this place. I'm almost sure my shoulder pain would have got worse if I didn't. I'll be back soon to be-stress again. read more

I was very happy with the 90 minute massage that Laura gave me and I will return to her. She is knowledgeable, strong, and very sensitive to your needs. I was having a really bad pain episode in my shoulder and she brought welcome relief. The studio is small but well appointed and very very clean. I recommend highly! read more

I booked massages for my family back to back all in one day with Laura. She did an amazing job, was attentive to our problem areas where we carry a lot of tension, and we all felt so relaxed after our massages. I also love the massage studio setting and the relaxing music they play in the background. I highly recommend checking Riviera Massage Therapy out! read more

I ran a marathon on Sunday and booked my massage with Laura on Monday night. I walked in looking like a drunken HB tourist and was wondering if I should I have waited one more day for a massage. I'm glad I didn't! Laura did an awesome job. I immediately felt a lot better following the massage. And today? I feel good enough to consider going for a run! While my primary reason for booking this massage wasn't to destress, I definitely felt relaxed thanks to the calming atmosphere of the massage space and Laura's personality. Highly recommended! read more

Great, calming environment. One of the best massages I've had in a while. Laura is amazing. Recommending her to my friends and family.

Another one that should be able to rate ZERO stars. When you're scheduling a massage it should not increase your stress. Process was so difficult from the start, not to mention the $15 required booking fee. The owner of the phone # associated with the business was texting me and refused to answer the phone I knew was in her hand. So frustrating. I finally agree to the booking fee as it can be applied to my tip and schedule an appointment online as apparently they can't conduct business on the phone or offer even basic customer service. So, I arrive at my appointment 5 minutes before the scheduled time and the door is locked. So, I ring the Ring doorbell. Repeatedly. They know there is a customer standing at the door. Then I text the number with no reply. Then I call, knowing they would not answer. Then I get an automated text informing me that my appointment had been changed to Sunday at 5pm. This is 5 minutes AFTER my massage was supposed to begin. Totally unprofessional. If this is how they conduct business I don't care how great the massage might be. read more

My boyfriend and I just had an Amazing experience at riviera massage therapy. Walking into this place was a breath of fresh air! Laura & Mike were so welcoming + the massage for both of us was accustomed to our needs EXACTLY! 10/10 recommend. read more

Absolutely love this place! Laura is hands down the best Massage Therapist I've ever been too. I've been getting massages for a number of years since I started doing CrossFit. I'm constantly sore and I work in construction so I'm always on my feet, doing physical work. Laura has helped me out with my back issues and keeps me going. I'm glad I found her. She's the bomb! read more

I would give it a 0 star if I could. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Didn't answer any calls to book a massage. Employees were rude af. Plus the deep tissue isn't even deep. Worst massage place ever. read more

I had some numbness and pain in my back and really needed a good massage. I found Laura and she had this amazing ability to work on the areas that needed the most attention just based on a few details. After my 60 minute massage I felt circulation, had mobility and felt energized. I will definitely send more people her way. read more

Laura is one of the best massage therapist I have met! She is skilled and knows exactly what she is doing, and her personality is just amazing! Book your appointment now! She will definitely take care of you! read more

It was so refreshing to get a massage and not have to be an active participant. I didn't have to tell her anything after the intake questionnaire. She zeroed right in on my trouble spots and knew how hard to press and how to work them. I've gotten my fair share of massages of all types and I know talent when I feel it. If you need a healing, relaxing, top notch sports* massage, hit this gal up and save her number. *quality 'sports' style massages are particularly hard to find in my experience. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst massage experience I've ever had. I walked in and it was only me and one other guy. I was super uncomfortable and asked him to work on my neck which was a problem area for me. I left feeling more stressed and violated then I felt when I came. My neck had 0 relief. It felt like he was just pressing on the same area over and over again doing nothing. He kept making weird noises with his mouth and breathing extremely loud. The mouth noises I was unsure of when we began, then realized he was chewing gum of some sort or a mint?? Because I could smell it when I was facing upwards. He was BREATHING IN MY FACE. AND AS IF IT COULDN'T GET WORSE, he burps. I know it sounds like a sick joke, but this guy was giving me serial killer vibes. I am disgusted to say the very least. I also feel very violated. Getting massaged by someone basically my age (he seemed about 26) and the opposite sex without knowing the scenario beforehand. Not to mention he stayed on my butt area to begin the massage for so long just elbowing the area. Horrible horrible horrible. DO NOT COME HERE. worst hour of my life thus far. I need a damn hot shower and some therapy after that. Oh and lastly, when I tried to get in contact with this place all day long, no one responded to any calls. I was trying to move my appt I had made through ClassPass. I even stopped by and knocked on the door. No response. finally someone got back to me about two hours beforehand through txt. Horrible business. Horrible masseuse. Horrible massage atmosphere. I wish I could erase this memory from my mind. extremely disappointed and traumatized by this experience. read more

After almost giving up on calling Riviera Massage to make an appt on Groupon after a month, I finally got a call back. Met Kentaro. Fabulous masseuse. I booked 6 more 90 min massages with him and have had 5. I texted the owner 3 times to confirm my last standing appt. Never heard back. Showed up at normal time, no Kentaro, left more texts, so far NA. Not a good way to run a business. I thought, oh no, going back to what I experienced in the beginning. Sadly, I'll give 2 stars because the other 5 massages were great. Hope to either get a refund for the one massage I didn't receive or a phone call booking an appt!! I thought I found my "place." read more

Just love this place, from the moment you walk inside you feel the relaxing vibe of their place. Laura was amazing and the massage felt so good, I practice Crossfit 6 times a week and I really need it! Definitely coming back soon! Obrigado! read more

I was gifted a massage for this place. I spent 2 days trying to book a massage with no luck. There is no email to contact anyone and they will not pick up the phone. Every time I try to call I get an auto text sending me to their booking site which requires payment for a massage that was already paid for. Don't waste your time. read more

first of all.... there are hardly any massage places open... so this was basically it... called made an appointment... went to the address that's on yelp.... nothing there... they moved... aaaggghhh!! the new place was only a 5 min drive. i asked for a deep tissue massage.... hhhmmm.... the pressure i got was 5 out of 10. the kid was young... i got the feeling he did not have much experience. it wasn't the best... wasn't the worse massage either. i don't think its worth going back to :( read more

This place is a joke, if you want a headache booking a massage this is the place. I wanted a massage and bought a deal on Groupon. When you call nobody answer and tells you to go to a booking site through Facebook. Then once you complete the booking you pay $5.00 just to book. I paid, made the appointment and got a reminder the day of my appointment at 8:00 am. 2 hrs later at 10:00 am I get a cancellation text without any explanation. So I called them to see what is going on, I sent a text and emailed and nobody got back to me. Not only did they waste my time, since I took time off from work to go to the appointment but they also stole $5.00 from me to just book the appointment. Now I have to deal with Groupon to get a refund so much for my relaxing evening. I ended up being furious! read more

Laura is amazing! She is educated in many modalities that are necessary in remaining functional and healthy. I am very active and my job demands a lot physically, seeing Laura is a necessity and my body would be a mess without her. It is clear that Laura is passionate about what she does and I admire her determination to make others feel good. read more

I came in with an injury on my right ankle from a really dumb kickboxing session. So anyways, I spoke with Laura on the phone and she sounds like a lovely lady who seems to care about my condition (that's pretty rare). The session went great. Can't believe I postponed this for almost a year. I could've been pain free a year ago had I known about her sooner. Two thumbs up, and definitely coming back! read more

I met Laura through a common friend of ours and decided to try a session with her so she could work on my lower back. I had come in with consistent pain and limitation due to my tight hips, but after working with her, I felt way better and was able to keep pushing on my workouts pain free! I am very happy that I have met her and continue to see her on a regular basis. The more we push your bodies, the more care and recovery we need, and Laura takes great care of the latter! read more

Laura is amazing. Hands down, one of the best in the business. She really knows her stuff and works with you to develop a treatment plan specifically tailored to your body and needs. I highly recommend Her if you have an injury, or just want a great massage. The location is great if you live in Hermosa or a close by beach city. She is conveniently located in a gym so you can do your workouts and get a massage in the same place. Really quaint and clean studio with a very relaxing vibe. Definitely recommend! read more

Innovative, Healing, Professional, Knowledgeable & Spirited are just some of the words I would use to describe Laura and Riviera Massage Therapy. I met Laura at an event recently where she was helping many athletes prior, during and after a competition with massages and preventative applications of taping along soft tissue to provide external support during extreme movements. My wife and I continued to use her services as she helps with injuries both short and long term. I highly recommend Laura for all, she is the best! read more
