There weren't many options for me because I know my body needed more than the ordinary massage or deep tissue. After a quick search. There're two massage therapists in the area I had my eyes on, so I went to their yelp and webpages trying to find the right one based on their self-introductory, reviews and more importantly, how I feel toward the therapist who's going to work my body. First thing I noticed on their Yelp pages were photos posted. This female therapist's page was decent and informational. But Kevin's page stood out. There's a photo of his son on his shoulders (a family man) and series of photos of a female client receiving service (a female client entrusted this man that she agreed to have her half naked body photo taken n posted publicly) Hmmm... these must meant something. So I was there, getting ready for my very first massage therapy done by a male therapist the same afternoon. The first impression I had for Kevin was from the strong/firm handshake which I personally admire receiving/giving. He's soft spoken, tall and big, reminded my of "Bay Max". Simply safe and calm. The room was ready for me. A 10inch tall rose-salt rock-lamp lit from the corner table, accompanied by scented mist, soft music and a warm bed. Kevin spent time understood why I needed massage therapy and shared his background. We also talked/shared thoughts about challenges a male therapist would have to toward female clients etc. Its quite interesting the awkwardness I thought I may had with a male therapist wasn't there AT ALL. His professionalism, informative knowledges (not that I remembered any of the muscle names lol) and heads up of his up-coming, out-of-ordinary work HELPED tremendously. He frequently checked with me if I was able to tolerate the pressure he had on tensed muscle groups... Of course, a great sport's massage (trigger point massage) is always too short!! I had hot-stone, deep tissue, Swedish, pressure point, prenatal massages throughout my life, but Kevin's service topped all other therapists Ive had! The tension on those never been worked, deep and hidden muscle groups were pin-pointed and lifted!!! Im now extremely surprised the number of reviews was so low on yelp with Kevin's superb service. I'm definitely coming back, cuz there's no difference when it comes to professionalism. Thanks Kevin!!!

But on to this highly anticipated review from what I would believe has been the best deep tissue massage I have received from a massage parlor was done by Emma today. I was referred to her by a friend of mine, I have a masseuse that I have come to my home monthly, but she is so amazing and books out so far in advance that sometimes I need a massage on the spot or within a couple days so finding someone local was something I really needed. I called on a Saturday to book and she was not available so I asked if she was available Sunday and I was able to get in with her first appointment availability at 10 AM. Unfortunately, I was mistaken and ended up at a different massage parlor down the road and didn't realize I was at the wrong place until about 10:30. I called her and I told her that I was so sorry about the misunderstanding, but I was up the street and I would be there in a minute and she was so kind and sweet and told me no rush to take my time and to be safe. I really appreciated that as I am a business owner as well and I know that things happen and the accommodation to take me still was much obliged since I was pretty irritated at my experience at the other massage parlor in those 30 minutes that was there waiting not even realizing that I was at the wrong place due to their lack of customer service. Once I arrived at the establishment, I was greeted by her and she was so sweet and kind. I would love to go into detail about how amazing my massages but I really feel like you just need to experience it for yourself. I booked a 90 minute massage, but I literally felt like I was there for two hours! She really took her time with my body. She really focused on every single inch of my body and let me tell you I was so stiff, my muscles were so tight, but she slowly started engaging and even though it was painful at times because of the amount of pressure she was using it was done with care, she really knows what she's doing. My friend did tell me that she has hands of an angel and I can totally attest to that. After the massage was done, it may seem silly, but tears were running down my face because I felt so taking care of. She asked me if I wanted some water or hot tea and I asked for a hot tea, met her at the front and she went over some stretches for me to do since I work out a lot and my job is pretty taxing on my body. For a 90 min massage I paid 140, which I feel was worth every penny. The whole experience was phenomenal and I cannot wait to tell everyone about what an amazing experience I had. His massage skills and techniques are to notch. I am an avid weight lifter, so I put his skills to the test with the knots and trigger points in my muscles because it had been quite some time since my last massage. I wish I had booked a 3 hour session! He does offer massage packages and I highly recommend investing in yourself and your body and purchasing.
